Excellent food! The Chinese eggplant with garlic sauce is delicious, as was everything else we tried. We came here 3 days in a row while in the area, we couldn't get enough.

Checked out this new restaurant for lunch today...and it was stellar! The place itself is very sleek...minimalist in design. I'd say the ambiance is cool, yet inviting. They did play overhead music, which helped to warm up the place as well. Service was top notch. My waitress was on top of things...and stayed very attentive throughout. There was even a host that greeted you cheerfully when you entered the place. This is something that's becoming much less common nowadays. I've almost gotten used to getting these blank, dead-pan stares when I enter restaurants. I tried the Flame Special Stir Fry Lo Mein, and it was possibly the best Lo Mein I've had? So much flavor...and they were super generous with the varieties of jumbo shrimp, beef and chicken. So plentiful, I couldn't even finish. Also tried their appetizer Golden Crab & Brie Wonton Crisps...which basically looked and tasted like Crab Rangoon. I liked them, but didn't think they were anything too special. I'll probably try another app next time. Still, the presentation for the foods ordered were great. Overall, I was impressed with this Chinese fusion restaurant. Thought it was on par with Open Rice, another upscaled Chinese fusion place that I love. I loved the convenient location as well. I can't wait to return and try other items from their menu!

Great vibe - wonderful new place that was not designed with females in mind. I say that because the chairs don't have a spot to put your purse and there are no hooks under the table. This results when the tables are full having it on the lap, on the leg or just figuring it out like the floor and being uncomfortable. Don't let the bao buns fool you. They are a meal unto themselves. The server described as 2 biters - it was 4 or 5 for me. Shrimp was fried a delicious golden brown, mayo was on point not too much, not too little, and other accoutrements overall complemented. The crab fried rice - the bowl itself was hot and I couldn't understand why the rice itself wasn't. It was tasty nonetheless w/bites of shrimp or crab in every bite. Overall, this is a fantastic new addition to the S. Charlotte dining scene.

The updated menu is great, it is closer to more Cantonese style food instead of fusion. All the dishes are delicious. The service still great and the restaurant is still nice and pretty. Will have to come back to try their Dim Sum.

Been here twice and I'm a fan! The lettuce wraps and squid appetizer were so flavorful, Nothing like I have tasted before. The Mongolian trio has plenty of plump shrimp, chicken, and beef. The Singapore noodles were one of the best we have had. The atmosphere is warm with stylish décor, and not too loud making it a great place to have a date night or catch up with friends. The cocktails were also on point! Prices are fair for the quality and portions. Will be coming back!

This place was a nice surprise. The restaurant is nicely decorated and very, very clean inside. They have flowers on the tables too. The service was very good - I asked for some recommendations and went with several of our server's suggestions. We started with chicken gyoza and the crabmeat wontons (basically rangoons). The gyoza was connected by a lacy fried top which was really interesting. We had the Cantonese Beef Chow Fun and the Singapore Curry Chicken. The curry was awesome - but the beef dish was a little bland. Overall, I'm giving it 5 stars because it was a good experience with very good pricing.

Tucked in the McIntyre Commons plaza in Pineville, right near the Amazon warehouse. It's a modern Asian-fusion spot with a wide-ranging menu that leans American-Chinese but blends Korean, Thai, and Japanese influences too. Inside, the space is clean and simple, some might say too simple. There's not a single piece of art on the walls, which makes the space feel a bit empty and doesn't help the acoustics. That said, the chairs are comfy, the bar is fully stocked, and yes, they serve Cheerwine. Our server Sylbi was warm and attentive. She explained that the concept is fusion-focused, not traditional. You'll find dishes like Shanghai-Style Beef Borscht and Cheese-Baked Filet Mignon alongside familiar favorites. Here's what we tried: * Chicken Gyoza: Served under a crispy, lacy cracker-like pancake that added a satisfying crunch. Not overly doughy like some spots in town. * Crab & Brie Wontons: Crispy on the outside, stuffed full inside. Tastes like a classic crab rangoon. The brie was hard to pick out, but the filling was clearly house-made. * Chicken Egg Roll: Packed tightly and not overloaded with cabbage. One of the better versions I've had locally. * General Tso's Chicken: I asked for no spice and still got a mild kick, but it was tolerable. The chicken was crispy, flavorful, and came with a side of steamed white rice. The plating wasn't anything flashy, but everything tasted fresh and light, not greasy or overly salty. Prices were fair, especially considering the portion sizes and variety. This isn't an authentic Chinese restaurant, and it doesn't try to be. It's casual, Americanized Asian-fusion done with care. If you're nearby, it's worth checking out.

Very good Chinese food! It's very nice inside for being in a strip mall type building. Service was prompt and the server was well versed in the menu. We ordered the crab Rangoon, general tso chicken and beef chow fun. Everything was hot, fresh and above all, not greasy! My only small gripe is that a simple vodka soda was $12 but that is not uncommon in this economy. We will be back to try more adventurous dishes.

Flame Bidtro & Bar restaurant is an excellent place to dine or order for takeout. The service is excellent and food & drinks are superb. The restaurant is clean. Night time dining is an option to end a great evening.

Singapore laksa & Singapore curry vermicelli. Beef Chie Fun. Cheesecake

We went here for a birthday lunch and glad we did! We ordered Singapore laksa, Singapore curry vermicelli, beef chow fun, orange chicken, Sichuan twice-cooked pork belly, and walnut shrimp. They were all so delicious that everyone cleaned their plates! There's so much to choose from their extensive menu that you can't go wrong with what you choose. I can't wait to go back and try the other dishes that the others ordered. The inside is very roomy and nicely spaced out between tables. Our server was very attentive and she even gave the birthday person a complimentary cheesecake. Check this place out and find out what you've been missing. Your taste buds will thank you for it!

Mounted game fish, moose, and deer heads give it that hunting-lodge vibe, which actually makes it a fun place to hang out and watch sports. We started with the Billionaire Bacon appetizer--six slices of bacon described as thick-cut, hickory-smoked and candied with brown sugar, red chile flakes, black pepper, smoked paprika, and cayenne. The flavor description was accurate, but the bacon itself really wasn't thick-cut and could've been much crispier. For the price, I expected better. If it had been thicker and crispy, it might've been worth it, but I probably won't order that again. My girlfriend ordered the Southwest Salad, and that dish absolutely delivered. It was a heaping portion topped with perfectly cooked sliced sirloin steak and shrimp, plus mixed greens, carrots, pico de gallo, roasted corn, black beans, pepper jack, and a jalapeño honey vinaigrette. She absolutely loved it. She also got a side of coleslaw, which was surprisingly delicious and a great addition to the meal. She paired everything with the Dirty Blonde beer, which definitely made up for the disappointing appetizer. I went with the naked garlic Parmesan wings and a side Caesar salad. Both were delicious. The wings were fried perfectly--crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside--and the flavor was spot on. I was very satisfied with them. Service was great as well. We actually had two servers because one was in training, and both of them were attentive, friendly, and made sure we were taken care of throughout the meal. Overall, I'd rate our experience a 4.5 out of 5. The food, drinks, service, and atmosphere were all really good, and we had a fun time. If not for the underwhelming Billionaire Bacon, this would've easily been a full 5. We'll definitely be back--just skipping that appetizer next time.

This place was quite large with lots of indoor and outdoor seating. There was regular tables, booths and high tables as well as a large bar you can sit at. The decor gave hunter/lumberjack feels with prop axe's on tables and mounted animals on the walls. Large TV's were everywhere showing all types of sports from softball, cornhole, extreme frisbee and the more common sports. We were greeted warmly and promptly were lead to a table. Looking at every table, they all had two dishes and two sets of utensils. We had three people eating. A third plate and set of utensils was never given to us. Also there are no menus. There was a sticker on the table with a QR code you could scan to get the menu but that was never pointed out to us. Our server came promptly and we were able to get our drinks quickly while we were trying to figure out the menu. Our server was kind of nice to realize we were having issues with the app bringing up the menu so she gave us time to look it over while coming back often to check on us. Eventually we had decided what we wanted. I ordered the Billionaire's Bacon for an appetizer. The Bacon was a bit undercooked to my liking. It was a little chewy. But the sweet and spicy taste was very good. My friend ordered the Brisket Chili and downed it very fast. They really enjoyed it. For our entrée's I ordered the Beer Battered Fish n Chips, my two friends both ordered the Philly Cheesesteak minus the mushrooms. We all got the seasoned french fries. Their cheesesteaks came large and correctly made. My one friend was only able to finish half of it and took the rest home for lunch tomorrow. My Fish n Chips came with four pieces of hot and yummy Cod. It was white and flakey and the batter was light but crunchy. The seasoned fries were cooked perfectly and the seasonsing reminded me of Old Bay. And there was plenty of them too! Our server refreshed our drinks when we were getting low and checked on us several times to make sure everything tasted good and if we needed anything else. We split the bill and we were just handed a paper receipt. I was surprised there was no little folder that it was put in. Overall we had a good experience. The food was good, the service was good. For a place that has signs showing you how cold the beer fridge is you would think they would have something on the table showing you their frosty mugs of beer. A hand held menu is so much better but as long as you know what you want it's a nice place. Come football season I am thinking this is gonna be a great spot to watch games. I want to try their wings next time because they have some interesting combinations. If you are looking for a new spot give them a try!

They have indoor and outdoor seating. The entranceway is so wide open that's sitting inside was like sitting outside. It was a beautiful night weatherwise. Obviously known for their options of beers, my colleague got a flight of four IPAs and I went with a bourbon old-fashioned. He enjoyed all four of his beers saying that the east was his favorite. Though my drink was to be an old-fashioned, they did not have any fruit, nothing to muddle, and no sugar. Understanding that this is not a cocktail bar, but a craft beer house, don't advertise an old-fashioned unless you have all the ingredients necessary to make one. The light snack we had was the pretzel. It came out quick and warm. It came with two types of sauces. There was a beer, cheese sauce, and a mustard sauce. Both perfect for dipping the pretzel into. The staff was super friendly and frequently came by to check in on things.
