Good price for a party package. Love they supply the pizza with the price and you can add extra they let us bring our own cake. One of our kids is super small framed 6 year old the gear would never fit her so they allowed an adult to wear the gear and her shoot the fun which I thought was awesome so she didn't have to miss out. They also give you a bunch of discounted and free passes when you book the party that almost equal the party itself. The man at the toy counter was patient while I as a parent was about to lose my $hit with the kids not knowing what to pick for 35 minutes with their tickets. He made his job look easy bouncing around from parents coming in to handling the toy counter and answering questions etc. would do another party here and go just for day fun. Also no one got sick after going here which is a miracle in itself so they must do a good job of keeping things sanitized. read more

We decided to come play some laser tag for fun. We played with a kids birthday party. The adults can play free with kids on Sunday. One game is $8 and 2 games is $14 per person. They have other options for laser tag online as well if you want to book a 3 hour play. They also have some arcade games as well. You can pay $10 to get 45 tokens. Most games take 3 or 4 per game. This is a very small arcade, but it was still fun. They have a photo booth and a few racing games. Overall this was a fun experience. The staff are really nice. It was fairly clean. This place is very strange, I used to come here all the time but after visiting last week I can clearly say something is much different. It used to be a place that was fun to hang out with really nice people and get some excerise playing laser tag. But now all the staff is different and they place some very strange jesus themed music. The actual venue is still pretty cool with a killer lay out, but they have so many rules that they enforce, it really takes away from enjoying the game. After looking at the other reviews, I clicked on the not recommended ones and saw that this place was apparently bought out by some weird guy who was accused of running a cult, so that seems to explain it. In typical Yelp fashion, all those reviews were chosen not to be shown. I would be wary if I had kids about letting them hang out here. read more

Very fun and clean place. All of the arcade games were new and the laser tag room was great. The staff was friendly and nice. The only thing I thought could be changed was the music. They played Christian/Praising Jesus music in the lobby and arcade area which was very odd for a laser tag place. I came on a saturday for a 30th birthday. It was a lot of fun and i recommend it as something different to do. There was a mix of kids with parents, teens and adults. We all had fun even playing together. I would do it again. To address some of the other reviews, I never heard any Christian music in the lobby or in the laser tag area. There was one person inside the laser tag area but i didn't see her repremanding anyone. I didn't see or hear anything about religion while I was here so dont let other reviews turn you off. I'm giving 4 stars because my husband said they didn't have a great selection of games. There were a lot that were phone app games. But hes old school so maybe younger people like these more. read more

This was sooo much fun! My nephew was staying with me for a couple of weeks and I brought him here one night to do something different. This was honestly just so much fun! We played a few rounds of laser tag (we had already eaten and weren't sure how much tag we would do, so we didn't get the special this time, but I will definitely be back for it. It's a great deal!). The laser tag room was fun, with lots of different ways to play, hide, run, and shoot. I was exhausted after! The arcade outside is fun, and my nephew had a lot of fun winning tickets and playing the games. It's definitely a lot of fun there and we saw a whole family playing and teenagers playing. This place is awesome. The people are awesome, there are new games and a HUGE new redemption center with Xbox ones, PS4's, nerf guns, giant teddy bears, and more. The arena is getting a major face-lift as well and they ordered a whole new set of brand new packs! You gotta check it out... I've been to this place 3 times and the last two were great, this time however I payed for two games and I got a vest that had a phaser that didn't work properly so I wasted my whole game trying to shoot people and targets without seeing what I was aiming at due to the laser not working. When I told the manager at the counter and asked for a free game he gave me the biggest attitude and said that there's multiple phasers that don't work properly and the laser is just a feature, you don't need it to play. Then when I said I couldn't see what I was aiming at he proceeded to judged me and ask how many games my friends and I had left then pressed me asking "and you want to go in a game by yourself?" With the biggest attitude like a girl cannot play a game without her friends. I was so flabbergasted at the fact that it would not cost them anything to just say I'm sorry for your inconvenience of course you can have a free game the next time you come in and I will look at the vest you were using... common courtesy.. common sense.. if a customer is not satisfied and you're a manager you're supposed to solve the problem and be respectful. Never will I come back to this place just because of one asshole behind the counter. Oh and FIX YOUR SHIT IF THEY WONT WORK PROPERLY. read more

We were bored today and looking for something different to do and laser tag was it. Mind you I haven't played laser tag in like 10 years since I'm no longer a spring chicken but we had an awesome time. We were weary after reading some of the not so hot reviews but we figured we would try it out and see what happened. We were three youngerish females and had no Issues at all! No one harassed us or tried to convert us to some cult. The young ladies working were super nice shout out to Tasha I think her name was, she showed us around and was great! We will definitely be back for some fun exercise! Ps. They did play Christian music out in the lobby/arcade area but it didn't bother me. I don't think they played that music in the actual arena. read more

I haven't been here since 2007, so I might be a little off.... Let's start with the facility itself. Big. The waiting area has a nice selection of arcade games and a few skill games. They aren't all of the latest and greatest, but you won't be forced to play Lethal Enforcer or Tekken 3. Good games here for the whole family and a well-kept Air-Hockey table which is a staple for any rec place. There does seem to be a lot of wasted space, though. A huge area by the bathrooms is just full of un-used tables and chairs, coat racks (which no one seems to use) and other...stuff. I always thought the owner could have used this as sort of a lounge area, but I'm not the owner, now am I? There are also private rooms (2, I think) where parties can go and...well, be private. I've used these twice and they are plenty big, bright, clean, and the staff won't forget you're in there! Its nice to have your own spot where you don't have to be bothered by other little kids and stuff. The bathrooms are always decently clean. Never found any 'special surprises' or had to hold my breath because of any smells. As many times as i've been there, I've never ordered food. They have a menu posted behind the counter, but I don't there is a kitchen anywhere in there. I believe that they will order pizza from like Little Caesar's or something if you're having a private party. There IS plenty of non-expired candy in the display case, though. The most important part of the building is the arena itself. This one is a perfect size. Its not so huge that you will get lost and never be able to find anyone to tag. And its not so small that you can't get away from heavy fire. It offers a nice 'tower' to snipe from, 'windows' to snipe from, numerous hiding spots (if you know how to find them), some well-placed base-targets, a ramp, and its plenty dark. There is your usual techno stuff playing over the speakers and it honestly adds to the intensity of the game. There used to be a 'robot' that fires back on you if you get to close to it, but I think that's gone now. The lazer guns are decent quality. They don't show your name and stats, and they only have one button to push-the trigger. Simple. Nothing fancy. However, I've had a few of them malfunction on me, leaving me wandering around shouting for the staff. They'll just stop working for whatever reason. They are decently accurate, though. The packs aren't heavy at all, and the targets on them seem to respond correctly. The usual upgrades like rapid fire, bombs and all that kind of stuff applies. The place offers memberships for like $20 or something, which is a great price even if you only play every once in a while. It also comes with 2 free games! I believe its $7 a person for single games and I don't remember any kind of 2 games for ??? prices. Wait time for a game depends on how many people are there...no different than any lazer tag place. AND, if its a REALLY slow night, Dave (the owner) will let you go in with just you and your buddies. He's done this for me a few times, and it was just me and one other person. He turned the music off and all the lights, and actually taped our game. It was all kinds of fun on levels that need not be mentioned. That brings me to my next point...Dave, the owner. This guy is totally laid back, and will treat you right. He doesn't tolerate destructive people in his facility, and that results in a more enjoyable experience for everyone. Also, he is very personable. He'll remember your name after a few visits. This is key to me in whether or not I'll come back to a place again and again. And if something ain't right, he'll make it right... Overall, this place is kind of off in the cut and can be easily missed...which is why I think he doesn't do as much business as he would like to. However, if you take a chance on a Friday or Saturday night, you won't be disappointed. Like I said, they aren't as high-tech as the Laser Quest down the street from it, but they have add a more personal touch to your experience, and the arcade here blows the other guys' out the water. read more

I've played at dozens of arenas across the country and several in Michigan and Laser Edge is the best. Well, it is tied with another in South Carolina. Regardless, it is the best anywhere in the area and worth the drive! The arena is HUGE with a HUGE up stairs. The owner is great and the staff is friendly. Kids had a great time playing laser tag and all the employees are very friendly and helpful. The manager, Kevin was amazing when dealing with a small complaint and went above and beyond to make it up to us and to make sure my kids were happy and enjoying themselves. tl;dr: If there were six stars, I'd give them that sixth. It's *by far* the most family friendly Laser Tag place I've ever been to. The "cult" nonsense is overblown and limited to the pleasant fact that they play Christian Pop instead of Top 50s crap (no evangelizing of any kind was encountered over our 4-hour visit). The price is a fantastic value and the arena is top notch. Combined with excellent staff, we'll be returning a lot this fall/winter/spring. Our four kids love laser tag, but having four children means we don't get to go all that often due to the expense of an outing like this often being on par with a trip to Cedar Pointe. Yes, we had read about the cult stuff (sort of hard to avoid when searcing for "Laser Tag Clinton Township" and the next suggestion is "cult"). AFAIK, they don't do the overnight games any longer (maybe they do, but I probably wouldn't have let my kids participate in something like that in the first place for a lot of other good reasons like, say, trusting minimum wage teenagers to keep kids from getting hurt/into trouble, but maybe I'm too much of a helicopter parent). Here's the thing -- the Laser Tag arena is excellent. The price, at $15 for 4 hours of play *with* pizza and a coke is a great deal. I fully expected the place to be packed out and to get to play two, maybe three games while spending a fortune on video games so that the kids had something to do while waiting. We played eight. And on those video games? Almost all of them were $0.50/play and were recent/modern -- not limited to a bunch of games designed to trick kids into turning $0.50 into ten tickets they could use to buy a $0.05 plastic piece of crap. During the first half of our visit, we were called into the arena every other game. The second half, we were called in *every* game. YMMV since there's only so many players that can play at a time and play frequency is going to be limited by how busy they are, but it worked out well for us this weekend. The staff did not have the typical "we're minimum wage, don't expect us to be excited about working here" attitude typical of places like this. For example, there was a staff-member with a Windex bottle cleaning the glass-top tables non-stop while we were there. When noticing that I had brought two young children (and we were the youngest after around 8:30 PM), the team made it a point to remind everyone of the safety rules, pointing out that there were "young children in the arena and you'll only get one warning before being removed if you are caught running/pushing people around". Going a step *well beyond* the expected, one of the staff members in the map saw that my kids were basically attached to each of my legs, afraid to venture out, and offered to show them where the targets were and how to navigate around to some of the more interesting locations in the arena. The kids were *thrilled* about this (and hey, at least one of the reasons you have kids is to be able to have fun playing games like Laser Tag as an adult and not have people looking at you like you're a loser). I mentioned the whole "cult thing" so it'd be a disservice not to speak to my experiences related to that. The extent to which this place was any different than any other Laser Tag place was that their choice of music, rather than being the typical awful pop-tart crap that pollutes most Top 50s radio stations, this place played a variety of Christian pop/rock/hip-hop. Given the choices, I'll take the Christian pop/rock/hip-hop (at least I haven't heard each one of those songs 950,042 times, though a lot of it differs from regular pop by replacing the "baby's" with "Jesus", but hey, at least the music isn't teaching my kids that promiscuity and drug abuse is the way to a happy life ... but I digress). Were we given a sermon before each Laser Tag game? No. Were people following us around trying to convince us to join a commune, stock-pile canned goods for the end of the world and give all of our finances to a leader? No. Did anyone even make a single reference to Jesus, ask us if we attended church or inquire as to our beliefs? No. Not once. If their mission was to evangelize the word of God, they were doing it the right way. Their staff was an *example* of how to behave - they were respectful, helpful and ran a great establishment. I've been treated far worse by people with far better paying jobs in the service sector. Beyond all of these reasons, one reason I will be coming back is: Out of four hours on a Saturday night, we encountered not a *single* snotty, obnoxious teenager trying to impress his/her friends with creative uses of profanity or acting like a punk. Perhaps the Christian Pop is a natural yob deterrent. Or perhaps they've grown reputation for kicking that element out when they find it. read more

I worked here for about 6 months and it was easily the best job I've ever had. Kevin was not only my best manager I've ever had but a great role model of how to run a business. Training here is simple when you have Jesse who will answer every question you could have about the building the arcade the arena or laser tag in general. Jobs usually are stressful but this was not at all. After working here you really get into laser tag and meet the locals and have some great conversations with the laser tag pros, who even offered me to play in there specialty space marines game. I'm still sad about not having this job as my grandmas health was diminishing and I was nearing college. I would recommend everybody to try out laser tag here and especially space marines!! read more

Laser tag was fun. Lots of people smelled of pot though. But the laser tag was fun. I was also highly disappointed that no one had asked me to join their cult. My goal for the night was to join this cult and see what all the buzz was about! Overall my experience here was decent not enough cult though, don't eat the pizza. read more

I haven't been here in months and right when I entered the parking lot I noticed that the name of the business was changed. My friends and I walked in and saw that the interior was a lot different as well - lots of games and flashing lights, the prize section was now a huge, and there was very limited seating. There is now a ton of staff that wouldn't stop smiling and hovering over us. I felt like I entered a clothing store in a mall. The women kept trying to make small talk and it was very awkward and strange. I also noticed that Christian music was playing the entire time, which I found a little odd honestly. When we actually played laser tag the set up was the same and so is the length of games but we were still being hovered majorly in the games as well. Before the new management only one person would be walking around monitoring people, but now multiple people were in there telling us to spread out even if I was next to a few of my friends. The prices are still really great and the Saturday 10 pm to 2 am for $19 is a great deal! Overall the new management is not my favorite and the vibe of the building is a little off, I will still come play but definitely not as often. read more

By far this is the best laser tag and arcade experience I have had. The laser tag arena is huge and is great for normal tag (walking around shooting everything that blinks) and is also awesome for specialty games, which are more complex. The staff is great at teaching and explaining the more involved games like space marines, capture the flag, and zombies. They also have a league night for space marines every Sunday to help interested people learn to play! They have a great arcade with lots of different kinds of games. Their redemption center is the best I've seen anywhere. They have x box 1 and PS4 available for tickets and so many more awesome prizes. But my favorite part of the arcade is the classic games section. They have mortal kombat 1,2, and 3, nba jam, and a bunch of older games from the 80's, brings back my childhood. If you are looking for a family friendly place to bring the kids, or a place to play some real serious laser tag, then you have to check this place out! read more
