Food was pretty good, and service was nice. Ambiance was big wooden statues of you-know-who. Layout is a bit odd with separate seating sections, but maybe it makes sense when they're busy. read more

This is a decent restaurant in this town. Menu featured a range of items from burgers and sandwiches to steaks and fajitas. I went with the pot roast which was good. Mashed potatoes, gravy and veggies came with it. I ordered a side salad as well. The waitress was friendly, attentive and got my crazy customized order correct. This was the spot recommended to me by the locals so it has to be good. read more

Same owner as the Mexican place down the road. It gets busier, though because steak and burgers are like pizza and sex. Hard to mess it up. The pizza place more business. read more

Always had leftovers! Their steak was the best, (my typical order) but my husband loved the burgers as well! They were always was speedy with my order and when we ate in, the service was impeccable! Hubby and I ate there today. Service was quick, but non-obtrusive. The food was excellent as always. I was craving fish and ordered the fish and chips. Hubby ordered "The Pistol" hamburger. The fish was fresh and flaky, but I tried to trade him for that burger and offered up my fish plus incentives. We agreed on a half and half split between my fish and his burger. That hamburger was soooo good. Make sure to try it! read more

Advertises as a steakhouse but really is only a mediocre burger place. Steak was only modest and I could do much better myself at home. Vegetables accompanying it were squash and carrots ~ no real flavor. Menu was lackluster and no desserts at all listed on the menu. Hardly any patrons at dinner time. Service was quick but waitress couldn't make up for the poor menu. They had about 6 or 7 beers listed so obviously this place is for alcoholics but not hungry travelers. Breakfast served at 11:00 am for those hungover but they don't open for breakfast until 11:00 am. Why bother? My spouse ordered a garden burger that was fine but a very mingy, small serving of sweet potatoes fries accompanied it. Seriously keep driving, not worth a stop. We wish we hadn't stopped. read more

Great food and friendly staff. Everything is fresh and home made. We loved the chicken fried steak and the pot roast!!

The onion rings are lightly dipped and very good. Loved the double American cheese on the lunch burger. The place was empty and I was surprised. We were there on a Wednesday, off season, I guess. I would think it would be busier, but the food and service were excellent! read more

I have been dealing with Rick for 20 years. He impressed me with his knowledge, timeliness, and professional approach from day one! So much so that I will not buy a TV or internet service from anyone else. I trust him and Gail with the keys to my house anytime. I believe we have lost many local professional technicians due to the big box retailers over the years.... but if you want your TV, internet etc. to operate optimally and also get the most out your equipment you purchased while knowing that it will be professionally installed....I HIGHLY recommend Mariposa TV!! Mariposa TV is a GREAT value and they are simply the BEST!!! read more

We now eat here at least once a week and sometimes 3 times a week. Everything we have had has been consistently great. We have now had the ribs 4-5 times and it is one of our favorite go-to's for when we do not want to cook. We generally eat here for dinner, we had burgers tonight and they were awesome. read more

We went for breakfast. Ham n cheese omelette was really good, hash browns were greasy and not cooked nearly enough. I ordered a side of salsa because I love salsa on my omelette, it was house made and delicious. For some reason the server seated us adjacent to the only other customers in the place, which seemed unnecessary. Been eating there for years the building is cool. read more

Food was pretty good honestly, nothing fancy. American food. My friend and I shared a side salad with honey mustard. Surprisingly good. Steak sandwich was delicious; the bread was nice and soft and came with a great dip and sweet potato fries. Would come back. Decor is kitschy but exactly what you'd expect in a Bigfoot town. read more

Excellent menu and big portions. We got the ribs which were delicious with generous sides and we had a lot leftover. I'd go back again!

What better road trip dinner can you think of than a big piece of chicken fried steak, grilled veggies and mashed potatoes and gravy? Eaten on a balmy screened-in porch with country music in the background? Followed with a slice of homemade blackberry pie? A lovely slice of Americana right there. Delish!! read more

Our group of 11 was at the river in town in 100 degree weather. We swam all day and worked up our appetites for dinner in the cooler evening. My cousin made reservations at the Big Foot Steakhouse for us almost as an amusement. She knew that there was a lot of memorabilia from the history of the town was on the walls and it was just going to be a fun place for a big hungry crowd. We were looking for another experience because her brother finally got married the day before and we just wanted the high from the backyard 80s band to carry over to the next day. When we entered they had the table ready for us, set glasses filled with ice water. Server was adorable. We noticed that a lot of appetizers were sold by the pound! We decided to order poppers and fried mushrooms and zucchini with the ranch dip, but we all guessed how many jalepeno poppers would be in one pound. I thought make 5 or 6 in an order would be a pound. You know what, they brought 11 out so that everyone got one, same with the mushrooms same with the zucchini fritters. So that was just very generous of them. One of us got the big foot steak sandwich, it was actually really good. Salad was nice and crunchy. Generous with the pickles. Others ordered burgers and pulled pork sandwich. Both the steak and pork sandwiches were so huge that only half was consumed at the table and they needed boxes to take the other half home. Three of us ordered taco salads with steak. The avocado was super fresh, the steak cooked well, but the rest of the salad was super bland. We needed to dump all the salsa on it to make it have flavor. One of was fine with the taco salad, I just got corrected. I noticed my mom put salt on her taco salad, so I cannot vouch the salad but some of us liked it. Veggie burger with onion rings and it was delicious!!!!Very generous again with the dill Pickles. Pistol burger and mustard Swiss were amazing. Senior pot roast was unimpressive. Don't order the pot roast (but really it was 100 degrees outside so maybe that was our bad). Our waitresses were named awesome names like Meadow and Rain and Aspen. Great place to eat and observe if you're looking for baby names! Ranch dressing good. Vegetables were good! read more

terrible food. super salty, soggy burger, very small portions. 15$ for 9 onion rings unbelievable

I don't know why some people gave this place a low rating. The service was great and we all enjoyed our meals. I ordered a New York Strip med well and it was cooked to perfection. Pictures with Bigfoot were a bonus. Good value too! read more

Shitty situation... literally. They need to work on service, quality, and just overall experience they offer. The food also didn't settle to well. Wish this experience will change sometime soon as I do like to go out and since this is one of few in town it's kinda a downer. read more

Bigfoot Steakhouse - Onion rings burnt after I returned it. The 2nd round came out worst. - Seafood Near Me - Willow Creek, California

We had breakfast here while passing through the area. I haven't been to many restaurants that offered Hispanic options for breakfast unless it was a Hispanic restaurant. The salsa was great by the way. My husband is very picky about his hash browns, and I will say that the hashbrowns we're perfectly golden and buttery. I had a breakfast burrito with a customization or two, and it was great. I would definitely stop here again if I come through the area. read more

Had the chicken wings today... excellent! Crispy on outside and tender and juicy on inside! Had the bbq sauce which was yummy good!!

Overall: Pretty bad option food-wise. Not sure about a bar atmosphere, but when it comes to food it's below-average diner fare. The good: Decent amount of food options on the menu and good sized portions. Plenty of seating. Prices aren't terrible. They play good music. The bad: Food was straight up bad. Served cold, coffee wasn't good, soggy. Service was friendly but not very effective. Atmosphere: 5/10 Service: 5/10 Food: 5/10 read more

Willow creek is a small town. My wife and I are on a fishing trip and just hanging out on the trinity river fishing. We wanted lunch so we popped into Bigfoot for a quick bite to eat before fishing. It is what it is, a restaurant. Nothing special here. The food was good enough not terrible. It was clean enough. Pretty mediocre. The burger looked better than it tasted. The chicken on the chicken salad was pretty rubbery and bland. The star was the big foot club. If your starving stop, if not make it to Redding or arcata. read more

The pistol burger was soooo fire pun intended! De f recommend. The food is always great here. AND FAST!

Hands down the worst food I've ever had....I had to eat MREs if that's any indication. My mom immediately has to vomit after eating half her food. And the rest of us had to all use the restroom for the remainder of the night. The amount the food costs does not match it quality at all. Worst food experience of my life. STAY AWAY! read more

Chicken fried steak was PHENOMENAL. But what wasn't phenomenal was the lack of service. Not a single refill, never checked on us. Eggs ordered were over medium (I give a wide margin of error here because over medium is hard for people to cook) but came out even a little under done for over easy. We were completely finished with our meal before we could get our waitresses attention (she was busy flirting with the cook) she brought the eggs back out right away on the same plate and you could tell they did not cook them any additional time. Disappointed in that aspect but everything else was great. read more

Good food and service. Perfect hot meal after a long day of driving. The decorations are interesting as well all old pictures

This place has REALLY gone up. Favorite place in Willow Creek & definitely the best burgers in town! They are a very hard working & lovely family. Gina is the BEST!!! Was traveling through Willow Creek and because I've never stopped in before I decided it was about time to try one of the local restaurants. I settled on Bigfoot Restaurant because the outside looked nice, almost like a lodge of sorts, and considering all of the signs it seemed a really big deal. As I always do I ordered breakfast; specifically the logger two egg breakfast. Everything was cooked well and had great flavor. It was however a bit expensive compared to most places but I left full and satisfied. My companion got the Bigfoot club sandwich and that too was a bit pricey but was tasty. Our server was very unfriendly however and it kind of bummed me out. She seemed very uninterested and bothered to bring us drinks and food. read more

Bigfoot steakhouse? more like bigfoot's diarrhea house. Terrible food, terrible service. First of all i placed an order on the phone for a togo and it was The most awkward phone interaction I've ever had. The guy talked over me the entire time i was trying to order. There was a misunderstanding about the pricing on the "lunch special" offers with a simple solution of just removing one item off my order. I didnt know you could only order 1 side item at lunch special price and He acted like this was the biggest deal in the world and talked over me the entire time and even rudely mentioned that "next time I wouldn't be allowed to cancel an item from my order" .... does he not realize i havent paid yet? I could have just turned around and walked out of the restaurant and left my order there. So moving onto the food. I ordered a "half rack" of ribs with onion rings. The half rack would be more accurately described as a quarter rack. 4 bones and 4 onion rings for around $12. The ribs were chewy, fatty, some of the worst I've had. The 4 onion rings would have been good but whoever prepped them forgot to remove the skin from the outside of the onion so that was annoying. Oh and my 4 oz side of ranch that i was charged $1.25 for? I only had 4 onion rings how am i supposed to use that much ranch? Now onto the diarrhea. I shared this "meal" with my boyfriend as a snack due it its comedically small size. We both had terrible diarrhea about 18 hours later. 0/10 will not return read more

Tough times for restaurants post-COVID. Definitely trying to be understanding about quality and service in a post COVID world. This was easily the worst meal myself and my family have ever eaten. Gristly, under seasoned steaks that were inconsistently cooked. No salt and pepper even on the steak. Bland baked potato served with just sour cream. Really horrific fettuccine Alfredo - no seasoning, no salt, no pepper, no parsley - absolutely zero flavor. Our server didn't bring back salt,'pepper, or even check on us. The meal was expensive and easily the worst meal I've eaten in years and years. I never even write reviews and felt compelled to write this. Just go get a box of Cheez Its and tough it out until your next meal. read more

First of all, on line has different menus, so it's had to order to go. I ordered the sm rib eye steak med. with horseradish. My steak is 1/4 fat n med well. No horseradish either. Baked potato had no butter n a tsp of sour cream. I wish we would've known all this before our 20 min ride to where we were going to eat. Oh and also the price on the rib eye was $21.99 on line. We were charged $30.99. Glad we didn't leave a tip. I dont think I would recommend to go there. read more
