We really enjoyed our lunch at Osprey Cafe, all COVID rules are being followed, there is no dine in option but there is a wonderful spot to sit in the front and watch the world go by , there is curb side pick up and food to go. We were greeted by a very nice gal who gave us all the time we needed to look over the menu that is on the wall behind the counter. There are many options from a grilled flour wrap or maybe a sandwich with sprouted sourdough or gluten free options , also house made focaccia bread. There was a ham and Swiss option that looked good but there was also a tofu and avocado option. I ordered the Cal Salmon waffle it had a great flavor . The herb cream cheese and pickled onions and greens really added to the complex flavors that this waffle had going on. Don't discount the waffle if you have not tried it, the flavor was great. My wife ordered the ham and Swiss sandwich on sprouted sourdough and she said it was good but a little slim on the ham, we both tried a Orange Squeeze sparkling water and liked it. They also offer fresh baked goods, fresh coffee and tea, organic smoothies and specialty coffee, All in all we enjoyed our lunch and we look forward to visiting again, recommend

Really wanted to like this spot but it was just meh, all three of us walked away just not feeling satisfied. I ordered a Seize the Dilla which came cleverly wrapped with some of their hottest sauce which was pretty mild. It came out pretty bland and the only thing that made it okay was the sauce was pretty good. Others ordered the grilled cheese which came out on Focaccia where you could only taste the bread and a Chipotle Dilla with peanut sauce but they were out of peanut sauce. Also got a strawberry shake which did not impress. Staff was friendly and service was pretty prompt. I would say they need to rework the menu a bit, add some spices and pair things a bit better. Hope they do well in the future.

Amazing coffee cafe. The staff was very sweet and friendly. The coffee was so good I got a hazelnut iced latte & my husband got a Mexican mocha we both loved the coffee definitely strong . This is a place we will be returning too in our future travels. Thank you for the delicious food and coffee!

Parking is plentiful and the location makes it convenient to grab from downtown. My favorite part of the menu was that fact that you can order a flight of ice cream, which are priced at $6 for 4 scoops or $11.50 for 8 scoops. It's a GREAT way to have customers try different flavors without overwhelming the sample spoons (PS I don't think this place does samples). I ordered a 4 flight of Mango Habanero, Chocolate Hazelnut, Dream Sweet Cream, and Cherry. The Mango Habanero had a good occasional kick of habaneros in an otherwise sweet ice cream. The chocolate hazelnut was dark but not very nutty - I think it's a safe pick. The sweet cream tasted like a mcdonald's ice cream cone (but perhaps healthier), and the cherry flavor can be avoided as it didn't taste like anything close to cherry. The line was a little slower than expected, but the pricing is very fair, especially for the flights. Service was friendly, and I think their menu changes some flavors ever so often.

Service was quick. Sad we couldn't taste flavors, but ended up getting a half flight, which…read moreincluded: pineapple, sorbet, Earl fog, gelato, chocolate, hazelnut, gelato, and mango habanero. I'm glad you enjoyed our decor and presentation. I apologize for the experience with the hot chocolate and avocado toast. I refunded the toast. Your comments are invaluable for our improvement. We appreciate your input and hope to serve you better in the future. I wasn't expecting that at all! So I'm very impressed that they received my constructive criticism in a positive way, and then to refund me for part of my order was very generous. I stated before I would like to give them another chance and now for sure I will! This was my first time here at SeaFront bakery. I heard this place has been here for about 2 years. I was really hoping this place would be good. It's a nice looking establishment especially inside. I'll start with what I liked: It's a good looking place with plenty of seating, very nice setting and has a gift area available, with so many delightful goodies, mugs, stickers clothing etc. it's spacious inside with lots of seating and a very cute area to sit by a wood stove. I really liked the decor. But I was disappointed with the food the hidden fees and the service. I ordered from my table on the QR code I ordered the avocado toast and a small hot chocolate (if you want whipped cream it's $.50 extra) I would have preferred to have gone up and ordered but it was pretty busy so I decided to try the QR code. There is no option to not tip, but there are 3 options to tip. Here's the thing, the servers don't come to the table to take your order and they don't bring you your food, you either order at the counter or on the QR code, and you pick up your order when they call your name. The area I was seated at, you couldn't hear them call the names for the orders, so I had to go and stand by the counter, so that I didn't miss my order. I guess I should have just ordered at the counter, I'm not exactly sure what the QR code did to save any time or allow me to remain at the table. I received my hot chocolate first, I was looking forward to trying it. I took a couple sips and could hardly taste the chocolate. I took it back up to the counter and waited politely until I could get the girls attention and asked if she could please add more chocolate. I explained that I could barely taste the chocolate, in my hot chocolate. The girl that I asked said, "yeah I guess so"? she wasn't too accommodating. After dealing with the hot chocolate issue it still didn't taste any better, I used to be a barista I know good hot chocolate and this hot chocolate was not good. My name was called a second time, I got my avocado toast. It was covered in cooked cherry tomatoes with balsamic vinegar, avocado, 1 egg over medium. The presentation was beautiful, but I ordered avocado "toast" the bread was not toasted or barely was and with all of the mushy textures and the bread not toasted it was a mushy mess! I just didn't care for it, too many mushy textures and no toast to break up the moisture. The textures are what got me. Darn it! I was disappointed with the food and hot chocolate (that cost extra for whipped cream) Hot chocolate and whipped cream go together in my opinion, and shouldn't be charged for it! And I don't appreciate being forced to tip! Please don't get me wrong, I've worked in the food industry most of my life, so I understand about tipping! Not sure if I will be going back there, however, If I do, I will not order from the QR code, I will not order the avocado toast, and I will definitely not the hot chocolate. Here is the breakdown of my cost: Avocado toast (there was no toast, bread yeah, ok) with garlic aïoli, blistered cherry tomatoes, balsamic vinegar, fresh basil, Sunnyside egg (it was not Sunny-side, it was over medium) $12 1-12oz hot chocolate (no whip that cost extra) $5 Tip $2.07 CA Tax $1.42 TOTAL: $20.74
