The best coffee I've had in Weaverville! The Briarpatch Mocha was delicious and the dining room had a cozy, eclectic vibe that was perfect for our morning. The owners were very friendly and we look forward to coming back the next time we're in town!

    Cute room down the hall

Our fam of 3 adults and 4 kids ages 4-12 had a blast with both. The 2nd youngest is ninja-trained and got the high score of the day in the Laser Maze. The 2nd oldest proved to be the best sniper in the Laser Tag arena. Well laid out, well run. Outdoor has two mini golf courses, looks amazing but was light rain and we decided not to try it. However, we did do the Go Karts and was a blast. They are gas-powered outdoor machines, with a governor set to 15mph max speed. Am fairly experienced and was able to run max on a wet track, except for the hairpins where I was able to get a little drifting but no spinouts possible with the equipment they provide. Very safe, easy track, beginner stuff. 12 year old had her own Kart, rest of us took kiddos riding shotgun in the 2-seat models. Did not try their food and beverages but pizza, soft drinks and beer avail. Had a separate room avail for parties and such. Everyone had fun, didn't break the bank. Will be back.

Pretty fun trampoline park in Redding…read more They have a few different sections inside. Two areas for older kids on the left and middle sections, and another section on the right for smaller kids. They have a dodgeball area as well as a rock climbing wall The prices are reasonable, especially when you have younger kids shorter than 42". It only cost $7-$8 per kids. They also have an arcade area in the main lobby. Not a ton of games but enough to keep a kid busy for 30-45 minutes? A few of my negative experiences: 1. it's a smaller trampoline park and in a place like Redding, when it rains for example, the place is PACKED. 2. Even though they had a "little kid" section, there was no regulation. There were tons of older kids running around the toddler area, knocking over our toddler and baby. 3. the yelp hours, their website hours and their actual hours are not the same which is super frustrating. Yelp says they're open at 10am every day Their website says "Normal Hours: Monday - Friday : 2:00 PM - 8:00 PM Saturday: 10 AM - 8 PM Sunday: 11 AM Their actual hours: 11am Monday - Friday (see photo) 4. No one answers the phone here. I tried calling at 10am, and continued to call every 15-20 minutes without anyone ever answering the phone. Then around 2:30pm someone finally answered and confirmed they opened at 11am that morning... Which sucked because by the time we got their after 3:30 the place was slammed and our kids were overran by older kids. Over all I'd give it a 3 stars. I would've given it to 4 Star, but I hated that it was so crowded. I also hated that i tried calling for over 3 hours and no one answered the phone DM me and I'll show you the call log. I won't post here because it's unnecessary

We visited Rare Air excited for a fun day with family, but unfortunately, the experience was soured…read moreby an interaction with one of the employees named Landon. From the beginning, Landon was dismissive and unhelpful. When I had a simple question about check-in and wristbands, he gave short, sarcastic answers and made it clear he didn't want to be bothered. I tried to clarify, thinking maybe he misunderstood--but instead of helping, he doubled down with a rude tone and eye rolls. It felt like I was an inconvenience for even asking. Look, I get that customer service isn't always easy. But basic respect shouldn't be optional. I wasn't confrontational--I was just a paying customer trying to get information so our group could enjoy the park. Landon's attitude was not just unprofessional, it was downright disrespectful. The rest of the park was fine--kids had a great time jumping--but that one interaction left a bad taste. I'm sharing this in hopes that management sees it and addresses it, because no family should feel embarrassed or dismissed when they're just trying to make memories. Do better.

If you're thinking about buying a family pass at Country Bowl next year, DON'T. As someone who runs…read morea business, I can tell you this place is a blueprint for bad management, poor priorities, and disrespect toward paying customers. We bought the family pass hoping to enjoy the summer, but almost every single time we tried to use it, we were turned away. Not once. Not twice. Every time. The lanes were packed with league bowlers or regular-paying customers. It's obvious they favor leagues and pros while treating pass holders like an afterthought. That's not just bad service, it's a slap in the face to families and beginners. Their hours are ridiculously short, and the season ends in August, giving you barely three months to use the pass. Compare that to Shasta Lanes, which runs May through October and has 24 lanes (Country Bowl only has 16). At Shasta Lanes, we use out family pass and bowled every single day, no drama, no excuses. That's how you honor a pass. And here's the real kicker: - Shasta Lanes opens earlier almost every day and maintains consistent midday hours. - Country Bowl has sporadic hours, often opening late during league hours or closing early, especially problematic for families trying to plan outings. - Shasta's season is twice as long, giving pass holders far more chances to bowl. - Country Bowl's setup is poorly planned in comparison, and it shows. Let's talk about customer service? Country Bowl's staff literally grabbed my phone to "verify" who's using the pass, like I'm trying to cheat. Hands all over my device, every visit. It's invasive, rude, and completely unnecessary. Meanwhile, the place is crawling with drunks, making it uncomfortable for families. Seating is cramped, the food is overpriced frozen junk, and the whole vibe is off. Now let's talk about Shasta Lanes. The owner personally checks in with us, says hello, and makes sure we're having a good time, every time. Their fries are actually good, the menu is fresh and fairly priced, and the staff treat you like a valued guest, not a problem. They even honored my wife's coupon from our pass, even when she wasn't bowling so I can practice my shots. That's real customer service. That's respect. Country Bowl is outdated, overcrowded, and clearly built around league favoritism. If you're not a pro or part of a league, you're invisible. That's not how you build loyalty. That's not how you run a business. And that's exactly why we'll never go back. If you want real value, longer hours, better food, and a place that actually respects your money, go to Shasta Lanes. Country Bowl? It's a waste of time, gas, money, patience and worst of all, it disappointed my daughters, who just wanted to bowl with their friends. So yeah, I'm disappointed too.
