This location always smells so bad, whether it's burnt food (happens) but this last time it smelled like straight up urine. I looked around to see if maybe the bathroom door was open and that's why it smelled, but nope. It's just so off-putting. I've never ordered food here for that reason. The coffee is pretty good but soooo overpriced. It's more expensive than Starbucks. I paid $7 and change (before tip) for a small iced latte. No thanks, I'll go to Dunkin down the road and pay half that. Every time I come here I'm disappointed by either the price or atmosphere or both. Biggby has no business charging those prices for such a mediocre experience. read more

I had never been to Biggby. It reminded me of the Coffee Emporium. I had a vanilla latte with Oat Milk. It was standard fare. The clerk was having a bad morning and it showed in her disposition. Next time, breathe... your customers will appreciate it. read more

I snagged some Biggby Coffee while out on an errand and definitely didn't regret it. I have a few friends who always rave about Biggby, so I figured I should give it a shot. The coffee shop is very small and you can tell that the chairs and tables are arranged differently during COVID to prevent congregating. I would definitely camp out here and work with some caffeine when we're not in a pandemic. The staff was super friendly and the store was clean. The staff handed me my drink as-ordered (and prepped the cream + sweetener for me behind the counter). The cold brew coffee is strong and I can feel it coursing through my veins as I type. I will definitely pop back when I'm in the area in need of coffee! Next time I'd love to try one of their tea lattes! read more

Coffee? Not so much. I have visited this location on several occasions and the coffee has never really been good. In fact, it's consistently bad. I'm obviously not expecting Starbucks, but it should at least be on par with Dunkin' or even White Castle. To have the word "Coffee" in the name, think you would at least try. My daughter does really like the cold drinks, but coffee needs some work and a little flavor to say the least. My rating is based solely on coffee alone. read more

I usually do Dunkins but this place was closer today so I gave it a try. I got the iced mocha mocha. It was really good. I wouldn't say it was any more special than Dunkin or Starbucks but it was on par with them. Their menu does look delicious and I would like to try their smoothies at some point. They also had a vegetarian sausage breakfast sandwich. I'm not vegetarian, but I like it when places are accommodating. The only bad thing I can think of is that they don't have a drive thru. read more

I got the hot sugar-free cinnamon vanilla latte and I love that I didn't get jitters from it. They have a good sugar-free syrup! Hubby got a iced white mocha and kiddo got the mango orange freeze. Both really good. I highly recommend! read more

We have been going to Biggby since it opened and love it. The staff are generally very friendly but like most small businesses there does seem to be a lot of turnover. The variety of hot and/or frozen drinks is excellent. I recommend them to everyone. read more

I came with a friend on a Sunday afternoon around 1:30. A few people were sitting in here doing work on the computer or chatting. Still, a saw a good number of people come in and out the whole time I was here. Must be a popular place! My friend said it's known for the sweet drinks. I ordered iced coffee with soy milk. I wasn't impressed. My friend liked hers. She didn't put any milk in hers. We sat outside which was nice! The inside is brightly colored with different colored walls. It seemed very fun and kid friendly. I saw two kids ride their bikes and chill in here. Anyway, I'll come again and try a cold drink! Seems like a lot of their customers order those! read more

Most days at Bigby I get terrific service today I walk in to a young man with artificial red hair barely trying to work making my sandwich with as little effort as possible and the staff is not attentive to anyone. Driving home to Detroit from Atlanta recently, we found ourselves in need of some coffee, so we turned off I-75 onto Dixie Highway in Fort Mitchell, Kentucky, and stopped at the Biggby Coffee there. Excellent selection of drinks, and the young woman behind the counter was wonderfully helpful. I wanted an extra shot in my iced cappucino? How about two extra shots? No, three! Before I knew it, I had enough caffeine in my system to keep me safely awake all the way home and into the night. I also knew the young cashier's life story, including the fact that she'd been a neighbor of ours for a few years in Farmington Hills, Michigan. What are the odds? I live within walking distance to this place, which could be really bad, but I try to control myself. I would choose Biggby over a Starbucks ANY day of the week. The shop is cozy, the menu is simple and fun, and the staff is always super pleasant and fast with my order. I'm a sucker for the iced treats, but everything is easily customized to your preference. This is a chain out of Michigan, but doesn't feel like one, and we were so excited that the only one down here so close to our apartment! This new addition to the Ft. Mitchell community is a great place to grab a cup of joe. It is a newer chain that's decor reminds me of a Dunken Donuts. That is not a knock on the place because it is a bright and cheery atmosphere that is not as bland as a Starbucks. The sizes and prices are about the same but they offer a ton of new options like the Neopolitan Latte and the frozen red bull drinks. I would say it needs to be checked out. Oh, and they make a hell of a cup of regular coffee as well. The staff is attentive and quick, I never see a line that doesn't get served quickly and everyone knows what they are doing. I hope this maintains its spot and becomes a fixture of the community for years to come. read more

I am definitely a fan of Biggby. My husband and I go here more than we should. We always have a coupon for BOGO that you can find in reach magazine or sign up and they send you emails with coupons all the time. That is so nice when coffee can be pricey. They also have a rewards program. You buy 12 drinks and get the next free. I like the sugar free frozen drinks that they have. The Mocha Mocha is so good. I also love the Nutty Buddy. My husband doesn't like coffee so we love they place because they have such a variety of other drinks. He loves the frozen Banana Berry. They offer pastries and merchandise that can be purchased. The French Toast muffin is amazing! The review that someone gave of them specializing in sugary drinks with coffee flavor. I disagree with that. The drinks do have the coffee flavor. The Michigan Cherry coffee is one of the best flavored coffees I've ever had. I think it's only available on Thursdays though, which is unfortunate. The seating arrangement doesn't offer much in terms of size and intimacy, but the coffee is premium all the way. Recommend to anyone driving on Dixie Highway through Fort Mitchell who can spare a few minutes to run inside for a quality cuppa. read more

When I used to live down off of 17 I used to come here maybe 3 times a week. I'm a creature of habit to an extent so I'd come and get the Red Bull Cream Freeze which is delicious. I came there so much that I pretty much got to know the whole staff. I moved in June but I still stop by because the coffee and staff are so cool. Especially Amanda and Steve. They're awesome and as soon as I get in there they know my order. It's really a hidden gem. The owner is super cool and they really make the effort to get to know their customers. Highly recommend. Biggby seems to focus on sugary drinks with coffee flavor. I got a latte and was disappointed--the coffee flavor was watered down, and even the syrup didn't add much flavor. The layout and decor of the store was striking, and not in a good way. Bright solid colors, and wood laminate. The line to reach the register blocks the way to the pickup area after you've placed your order. It's very strange to me that a place was designed like this even with the excellent examples of coffee shops that abound. Apparently they're trying to attract a different crowd than a traditional coffee shop. Perhaps the crowd that prefers the coffee from McDonald's or Dunkin? If that's the case, they need a more convenient location and maybe a drive-through. read more

Didn't realize this was a nation chain coffee shop because it does not feel like one, feels local. The staff was super friendly and when I told them this was my first time there somehow they became friendlier. They let me take my time looking over the menu and ask what I felt like having, cold vs. warm drink or even smoothie. Help that I was the only one in line, but I felt like they would have still been patient if there were other people behind me. The woman suggested her favorite The Teddy Bear, I think that is what it is called, it has butterscotch and something else but very good. I got the middle which is 20 oz, very very filling, all for $5.40. The atmosphere is very relaxing, music playing in the background but not blaring, and like I said friendly staff.
