So, I have been coming to this coffee shop for years, while writing this review, I ask if it is worth it or just go up to the female barista and ask why she chose to make this decision. I am worried that this may have happened to more than one customer. While I ordered a caramel Marval, I saw another customer awaiting their order accidentally drink out of my drink while I was sitting down. I then saw the female barista give the correct drink to the customer, then throw away the straw out of my drink and attempted to give me the same drink. This occurred at 4:00-4:10pm read more

Some days I feel like I can do anything. When I look into a mirror, I think to myself, "Wow...I can do anything." I feel like I want to treat myself with nature's own liquid, aka Biggby Coffee. If you do not understand that reference, watch Undercover Boss S5E8. One of the workers in that episode used that reference and I never used another reference in my life. Also, if you go to this location five days in a row, the fifth day is the same price as the other days. I really enjoy that. It gives me a reward for attending my daily coffee session. I love Biggby Coffee, and have been very happy with all of the locations I've visited. To be honest, that's not so much about the coffee (which is excellent), but about the incredibly friendly staff. I've gone to this BIGGBY many times, and usually they're great! Today, I was in desperate need of a coffee so I stopped in. First, they tell me their toaster is broken so I can't get my bagel toasted (whatever it happens). I get my bagel and hazelnut coffee and head home. The bagel has almost no cream cheese. It's hard to eat an untoasted bagel WITH cream cheese, but there's basically none so it's even worse. Take a sip of my coffee and it tastes old. I drink my coffee black, and I legit can't drink it because it tastes like old stale coffee. I'm sad. I really do love this place and will be back, but today just isn't my day, or theirs. I simply adore it here! There's been new staff over the years... and they ALL have been AMAZING! Wonderful positive energy & I've always been treated respectful. They don't seem to mind my speciality orders at all, and you can customize almost any beverage. Hot, iced or frozen! Always good for a quick coffee stop, they've got different creamers/milk & sugar/topping for your caffeinated treat. Love the point system of the Biggby card, after the 11th drink... you get a free one. Incentives get me every time! read more

I agree with Becca...not necessarily for coffee purists with more of their focus on a specialty drink coffee menu but it's a comfortable space to sit and enjoy some morning Joe. The store is clean with plenty of open space and at 8 am it was surprisingly slow taking into consideration the steady crowd at a nearby competitor. That said, the staff was friendly and relaxed, service was pretty quick, my cappuccino was delicious and I liked the colorful branding on their cups. read more

I really hesitate to write negative reviews but this was absolutely the worst experience I've had at a bigby since moving to Michigan. I came in mid morning to order a bragel and there was literally two people in the entire place. The girl behind the counter (nose piercing and throaty voice) seemed irritated to take my order but as someone who worked in f&b for many years, I know better than anyone that a bunch of things could be going on that I'm not privvy to. I paid for my bragel and left a $2 tip. Then I went to the restroom. Then I came out and waited. And waited. Three customers came in after I was in the dining area waiting, ordered and walked out the door with their orders. Finally, after 7 minutes I was acknowledged by another staff member- who asked me if I was waiting for a drink. The girl who took my order was literally just standing behind the counter talking to a coworker for the entirety of the time I was waiting- in her direct line of sight- in an empty dining area- and never once acknowledged me. I explained I was waiting on my bragel and finally, the cashier said "oh yeah I forgot" she then proceeded to slide the the bragel across the counter at me (I had to catch it before it fell on the floor) and say "sorry about that" and then she went right back to talking to her coworker. i am so perplexed. this employee acted like I done something to her and treated me with contempt from the minute I walked into the door until the time she finally decided to give me the bragel I ordered and paid for. a 10 minute, $8 trip to bigby, only to be treated like absolute garbage. I'll never be back. Your other stores in the area are excellent- so I guess I'll just drive further down lake Lansing road from here on out. W read more

Five stars for the service, the baristas were friendly and provided great service. I ordered a late which was well prepared. I wish the menu had more traditional drinks, they cater more to people with a sweet tooth I think, but all in all I recommend going. read more

I'm really not quite sure why 1) this location has only one review, and 2) why the one review that this location does have is negative... I've been coming to this location for about three months, and each and every time I am there, I am greeted with a sincere welcome and smile from the ladies and gentlemen behind the counter, and sincere conversation as I am waiting for my beverage to be created. I have never felt pushed into buying anything more than my original request, and to top it off, the beverages are beyond tasty. Love the coffee and tea! Not a fan of the 95% junk food option. A "Banana/Kind Bar" is the only healthy option. The customer interaction that Biggby forces it's employees to do is nice even though I know it's forced, usually it turns into an authentic conversation. Not a fan of them letting people smoke on the patio. It's gross to see all the cigarette butts everywhere. A no smoking sign would upset the smokers, but in the long run, probably please many more non-smokers and guarantee future patronage. About to sound like a di*k ,but a no smoking sign and a couple more healthy options gets you five stars. Ps - music is a little loud, can even hear it with headphones on. read more

I usually frequent Starbucks, but I'm house-sitting for the week and this Biggby happens to be right down the street from where I am. I've always had positive experiences at every Biggby I've gone to, but the baristas at this particular one have gone out of their way to be friendly and accommodating! I've stopped in for a frozen Butter Bear the past three days, and every time I've left happy with my drink and my experience. Tonight when I stopped in, the two baristas were extremely welcoming and conversed with me while one of them made my drink. I mentioned I was working a graveyard shift, and one of them offered me an extra espresso shot (which I had to decline, because I don't have a death wish). It's a shame I don't live closer to this Biggby, because I'd be stopping in for every graveyard shift just for the happy atmosphere. This store and it's employees have made me a Biggby fan, and has soiled my loyalty to Starbucks in the best of ways. I'll definitely be coming back whenever I can! read more
