We stopped in on a Saturday in July, to grab an iced coffee. We weren't sure if they were open, as it looked dark inside and no umbrellas were open on the patio. When we arrived around 6pm, nobody was on the patio, when we left there were ppl sitting out there. Anyway, it was open, there were a few people inside. Service was fine, our iced coffees were good. This location has seating on the main floor and upstairs. It was kind of loud when I went - a lot of teens go and hang out there after school. I wanted a pistachio latte, which isn't on the menu, but they made it for me anyway! It was delicious! I also ordered a blueberry scone that was warm. Not bad. read more

Worst flat white that i ever have ! I haven't been to the local Starbucks for a long time. Cos they have double stars today, plus i went to a couple Starbucks in CA. So I went to this Starbucks for the flat white, plus I ordered a scone. Okay. The coffee, or so called flat white, taste like water!! First, you can't smell any coffee. My Keurig machine is better than their coffee here. After i took a sip, then I know there Is too much milk in there. It is more like a latte, than a flat white. Too bad that I had already left, and can't asked them to remake. End up I have to throw away my coffee after two sips! What a waste of money!! :-( Then the blueberry scone.... Did they change their recipe or something? It is dry, very dry. I know scone in US is kinda of dry. But while I am driving, I feel like I am eating oatmeal. This is probably my favorite Starbucks, even though in general I'm usually not a fan of their drinks due to the inconsistency and cost. It used to be my big splurge and I would go to one everyday. Nowadays, I just seem to get a lot of gift cards to this chain. I like the easy parking and the way this building sits in Northville. It has great seating outside and upstairs. They are very quick to make their orders and it actually consistently tastes like what you're ordering so it makes your $6.00 drink more bearable. You would think going to a chain you would get the same drink if you order the same drink by name, that is not usually the case with many of these places. Over the years, it's left me more disappointed than not, and this location isn't really in my normal path for the day. If the group I'm with wants Starbucks, this is the one I would prefer that they pick. Otherwise, I will be ordering water from the other locations, it's the one thing they seem to keep consistent-ish. read more

Ambience and location make this a favorite! The building is so unique and pretty, it makes the experience here better! This is a super busy Starbucks! It makes wait times rather long and patience is needed. But, the staff is pretty efficient and the majority are also friendly! This location also seems to have many more snacks on hand and are fresher due to the high-customer volume. This Starbucks also has a lot of indoor and outdoor seating. It also has a unique two story setting with a fireplace upstairs and a great patio space. It's easy to park too because of all the dedicated parking. Love this one! read more

Stopped at Starbucks Northville today to treat myself to my favorite beverage (the Pink Drink) and one of their yummy rice krispy treats. Tyler was working the register and immediately put a smile on my face with his welcoming, upbeat and positive attitude. It reminded me that I need to strive to have more of his bright attitude towards life and he helped set a nice tone for my day. We need more people like Tyler in this world! read more

The staff is sooo nice here. Denise and the shorter woman with glasses are insanely sweet. There are two guys that are also really nice- one has long black hair and the other has short hair and tattoos. I love the feel of this starbucks. They have comfy seating and it's a nice location. When you walk in it's not overwhelming like that of downtown Plymouth. The only thing I'd change is instead of allowing children here, allowing dogs. read more

Great Starbucks. Located in downtown Northville, so it's very easy to walk to if you are around downtown. Service: Line can get long, however they work quickly and efficiently. You can also order ahead online to skip the line. Decor/Atmosphere: Nice charming old building. Don't believe the was a purposefully built Starbucks building. Usually quiet enough to read a book. I enjoy going here on my days off to read with a cup of coffee. Also a great place to meet people. Overall: Although it is a big chain, I do enjoy Starbucks coffee and the general feeling/ambiance of this coffee shop. read more

My previous review was for this chain's DTP location, but I much prefer this DTN (?!) location for two simple reasons. 1. They have my beloved Clover machine coffee (there are only 4 of these in MI) 2. The place looks like it's straight out of 'Snowwhite'. DUH. Okay, 3: there's a fireplace upstairs. This is a review for the Northville, Main St location only. This is typical Starbucks fare, but I like the layout (for the most part). The upstairs is kind of nice, cuts down on the noise factor from the machines. They have outdoor seating which is also nice. Service was good, and friendly staff. What I didn't like was outside seating was very limited and felt a bit cramped. Bugs. Natty bugs I mean. I know this is sometimes inherent with the time of the year, but annoying none the less. They seem clean and so not sure why the bug situation, but worth a note as it was pretty annoying. read more

I was looking for a cafe in the area to do some homework for my classes. You can never go wrong with Starbucks so I decided to head to this one. Drinks are fine, interior is fine but they were blasting their music. It was so loud that I could hear it through my headphones and my own music (which had the volume turned up). I don't mind music or the ambient noise of conversation in a cafe or shop. But it being loud enough to hear through my headphones and music is too much. read more

I love Starbucks and anybody that knows me can attest to that. This is not my favorite Starbucks and I stopped coming to this location. They take forever getting out drinks. I've waited for over 20 minutes for one iced coffee. If I order a pastry and ask for it warmed they typically forget. They don't seem to have enough people working and if you go between 2:30 and 3:30, good luck. It's a shame it's ran so poorly because it's a really great location and a neat building. I was so disappointed. I wanted to get a coffee but I got tired of waiting so i gave up and left. The 2 employees were so concerned about their schedule that they did not acknowledge me in any way or let me know that they would be with me in a moment. They just continued talking about the schedule and ignored that I was standing there waiting for assistance for over a minute. That was obviously much more important to them than providing good service. I will never go there again. read more

Tried to get a simple ice tea and it took 20 minutes. After watching 6 people who ordered long after me, I asked why it is taking so long. The response from the manager was that hot drinks get priority. Not the best response. Especially when I ordered a simple iced tea. They did not even apologize and acted as if they did not care. This is my third bad experience at this location. I think it is time to replace the manager and get better staff. This could be the worst run Starbucks I have ever been to. read more

"It's Starbucks. Aren't they all the same? Also, why would you go to Starbucks?" I get it. Really, I do. But I've stopped mourning the passage of Novi's Coffee Trader and Cup O Joe, and now that I'm older and have sold out, Starbucks just kind of works. I'm not entirely sure how I stumbled upon the downtown Northville location, but it was one of those "I'll try it, but I'm sure I'm not going to like it" kind of expeditions that totally changed my mind. The staff is exceedingly nice and efficient, and the layout and decor seem to eschew the typical strip-mall Starbucks, giving this location legitimate character. Despite passing several Starbucks locations with a drive-thru, and one in my own town, I somehow find myself here several times a week. read more

I go to starbucks every day and I have been to starbucks in many different countries and states (hence the gold card) and I have got to say that this is the most impressive one I've been to. It is conventionality located about a mile from where I live and the building/set up is beautiful. The staff is okay (not the greatest) and the people who come in to this starbucks act like they are entitled but I still love this location. I come to this places a lot for my tall pike. This is a nice quaint place and looks charming. However, if you come here during busy times it is packed. During these times I end up parking on Cady street. The lines are extremely long and it takes a long time to get your drink. They can help the situation by having more Baristas helping the customers. Majority of the times, there is one person taking the orders. Majority of the Baristas are nice, until Met Dan yesterday. I was here yesterday (8/9). This Wannabe middleaged Beret wearing A hole is at the counter. There was Caucasian guy ahead of me and he got his refill. When I asked for a refill, he looked at me quizzically and said that he can't give a refill because I left the store after purchasing my first drink. The Caucasian guy who got the refill entered the store along with me. I don't mind paying for my drink. Heck, I have about 8 rewards on my card. What pissed me off is the double standards. This guy should take some sensitivity training. read more
