I've been here about seven times since they opened, and what impresses me most is that the service has never changed one bit. Every visit has been just as welcoming and enjoyable as the first. Lana is an absolute gem! She is truly the sweetest. She can create the bow of your dreams and patiently answers any questions you have. Her talent is incredible, but it's her kindness and personality that make her so special. She has a way of making you feel like you've known her forever. This store has every niche Christmas bauble as well as large presentation pieces, massive trees, Depr 56 and Lenmax villages as well as every type of light you could envision. And prices are very competitive. I wanted to buy my wife an item that was only available in the store but because of health issues, I couldn't travel the 1:45 to visit the store. Yet, my Christmas hero and e-commerce manager Melissa Gonzalez went the extra mile to post the item to their website so I could purchase it. My wife will be sooo excited to receive this gift. I've seen entire rows of various plants all infested with the same pest or disease or rot, so keep your eyes open just in case, and know beforehand what healthy leaves should look like. prices are not much lower, if lower at all, than the chains, but, again, literally tons more choices.

Workmen dragged full wheelbarrows of concrete mix from the front of our house to our backyard. They…read moredid this for days so they made a deep trench in the grass between our house and our neighbor's. We texted pics of the damage to our neighbor with a promise to lay sod as soon as the work was completed. Finally! The work is completed. Whoo hoo! I knew to buy sod from Nu-Turf because I've done so a couple of times through the years. They are really nice guys and their St. Augustine sod is hearty. You can see it's grown in rich soil - look at the pics of the underside of the sheets of sod! We didn't even have to go to their shop to get great service. They make it easy - we actually called them on Monday, enroute to go shopping, to arrange for half of a pallet to be delivered to our house on Saturday. We weren't sure if we needed a full pallet and the guy who we spoke with told us that half of a pallet has about 40 pieces. That'd do it! We ordered half of a pallet ($135). There's a $45 delivery fee and a $6 pallet deposit fee so we'll return the pallet this week. They delivered the sod with no problem. They even asked us where we wanted the pallet dropped - we chose the swale between two main areas needing sod so we didn't have to go far to lay the sod. The sod sheets are approximately a foot and a half by two feet. We had enough to fill in the trench from the wheelbarrow, the dead zone where pallets of pavers sat on our front lawn and other bald work areas around the property. The product is great. The price is right. The guys were easy to work with and consultative. Don't you love it when companies come through for you? Years ago the guys in the shop turned me on to a retractable rake and plant hormone - I still use both and think that if I didn't shop at Nu-Turf I would have lost out on having insight about what to use and how to use it. The price point is pretty steep, however you do get a decent amount for the price. $9.00 for the iced matcha with an extra charge for syrups and milk alternatives of course. The cortadito was around $4.00 which is also pretty pricey for what it is. I called him to make sure he was open prior to heading out. I drove all the way to Miami Gardens (which is the address listed on Google) to find out that his actual location is in Hollywood. After contacting him he tells me that Google takes a while to update the change in address and the actual address to his current location is listed on his website - fine. I leave it at that. Today, I contact him via phone to ask him if he is open and once he replies yes I continue on to ask for his address. Instead of just telling me right at that moment, he says I can find the address on his website. Once again, I ask for him to share with me his address to which he replies 'Sure' and hangs up. He then texts me to say that he found his address instantly and asks which address it is that I found and how I heard about his shop. I look at his website, click on the button that says 'Bonsai Store - Hollywood Location, Shop and Living art Studio' and GUESS WHAT! There's no flipping address listed on that page. In fact the only addess listed throughout his whole website is the Miami Gardens address that I had gone to in the first place. I send him screen shots of everything I did to find an address - any address really at this point. He replies with a text saying 'Today is a weiird day because I am trying to get a tooth pulled. Let me get back to you.' WHY THE HECK ARE YOU TELLING ME YOU'RE OPEN THEN?!?!?! Never again. I'll be driving down South from now on. Which is what I should have done in the first place.
