Our main purpose of this trip was to get parts to fix our shower handle. Of course while we were here, my husband picked up some other items that he needed. While we were waiting for the self checkout register we saw a cool jellyfish lamp that was plugged in on display. We asked an Associate who was guiding people to open registers where they were. She checked and told us they had some in Electrical and pointed in the direction it We headed towards the Electrical area and happened to see another Associate and asked him about the jellyfish lamps. He didn't know what we were talking about but another Associate who was close by heard us and said that he knew where they were. He brought us to the aisle where the ceiling fans are. We looked on the shelves but couldn't find it. The Associate wasn't giving up and asked us if we wanted to look somewhere else which we agreed to. I had a really nice stop at Home Depot. I was amazed no less than five associates asked me if I needed help in finding something. This is in stark contrast to other Home Depot's I frequent. I was very pleased with how helpful everyone was. Maybe the Big Boss was on premises? They had a large assortment of Hallowern decorations. Several were very elaborate. Right now they have a very good selection. They also had some good songs playing throughout the store. I found the three items I needed. The price on two of them was really fair. I will be coming to this Home Depot when I need something. I don't think I could have had a better experience. read more

The paint aisle is filled with big brand items like Behr. There usually is one employee from each section that know everything and can provide options for whatever job you are doing. Good prices on charcoal grills and Ryobi One tools but prices have gone up on wood as it did everywhere. The most impressive item were the Milan shower panels from $199 - $349. read more

This home depot has consistently provided help to my family for the past 12 years. From the paint department to my buddy Jim in plumbing, they are a stellar bunch. Especially Jim, he has guided me and saved me thousands of dollars by explaining how to fix my dishwasher, shower, and garbage disposal. He took the time to look up my E:15 error code, watch the videos, and tell me how to fix it. No one in this disposable society actually would have done that! He is kind and really took his time explaining it. And voila, my dishwasher and garbage disposal are fixed!! I canceled my order and will return to home depot because of Jim. read more

This Home Depot is a little better than others. It is at least somewhat cool in there. HD is my least favorite retailer to go and I avoid it like the plague. But Lowes did not have doors I liked. I want to replace two bathroom doors and had a miscommunication with the guy remodeling my bathroom...so I ended up here. Ugh. Well. I actually got waited on fairly quick from the guy in the door department. Within like 5 minutes which is fast for this place. I thought maybe they could redeem themselves with me. Sadly, no. I was talking to the salesperson and he took a call. For 10 minutes. From a customer. I said to him about 5 minutes in that I am sitting here right in front of you. This is rude. Anyway, he apologized. (Funny enough whenever I have called a Department in HD no one picks up) OK so he was complaining about their computer system and how he had to keep restarting it. No sympathy from me. Finally, I found one door I liked. He told me it would be 6 to 8 weeks. No. We are out of the pandemic so no more supply chain shortage excuses. This is another location I will not go to again. Home Depot is at the bottom of my list of places to go. Only as a last resort and probably not even then. I guess I will have to buy online since I've looked all over . Last year I had a few mangoes and this year my tree is super full . We went to go purchase a new facet. The stock was very minimal and finding help anywhere in the store is a joke. When we went to go ring it up, we are only given the option of self check out - although there are a few cashiers standing by. The line is non-existent and unorganized. Multiple stations were not working. If you expect me to work there, you could provide me with the tools to do the job I don't get paid for. We were moving and wanted to view products in person prior to purchase. They have a variety of products and services, which peeked our interest. We were only approached once to offer help. We didn't need it because we were just browsing but still. It seemed like many employees looked miserable working there. We did the self check out, which was fast. There were way more employees than customers for sure. We browsed mostly the appliances, since we were basically starting from scratch. This location is the first Home Depot location I visited when I relocated to Florida over a decade ago. There is nothing specifically special or unique about this location. I will say the parking lot is probably the smallest lot I've seen for a Home Depot. This sucks because they rent out a good amount of vehicles and heavy machinery that is also parked in the general parking lot. When we were moving, we decided on renting their moving trucks a couple of times. We were trying to save as much money as possible since we were moving hours away. We didn't think we needed to rent the truck so many times but we did. We reserved it online each time and there was a major issue once. Tell how it makes sense that after you reserve, with a credit card, someone else can take that truck! If we were moving a a town or two over, I would still be pissed but not as much. I was livid. I called and freaked out Becky husband and I both work so it leaves a limited amount of time we can take off work to move. We lost an entire day because of their Freddy ways. There was also an issue with them charging my card several times. It was a pain in the ass because I had to report it to my credit card company and then wait for a new card to come in the mail. Very inconvenient. So moral of the story, do not depend on them for rentals. Goods-are fairly priced and work well. read more

Ended up paying $5,100 and less than a year and half later my compressor is shot and Art plumbing wanted to charge me $2,700 to replace. My hvac are under warranty but the labor warranty expired 3 months ago. They gave me a faulty system so that they can get me again with the labor cost. read more

I came in tonight for a three pack of air filters. There must've been 10,000 cases of air filters of extra product above the sales floor. Josh had no intention nor desire to check for me. What business can stay in business if you have nothing but empty shelves, management needs to walk their store they can't be blind to all these opportunities everywhere. Long weekend are good for home projects. As we got done on top of our list, which is get the Christmas tree up, and pressure was the back patios, the one last project is to get the backyard gates up so we can keep the ducks (and the creepy cat fro next door) out of our property. Our first attempt was try to get the gates from the Home Depot close by our house. Since they don't carry the gates we like at that particular store, we decided to come to this store and press our luck. The employee at the first Home Depot, who was extremely polite and helpful, told us they don't carry this particular item in their stores, and told us we can either try to buy them online or try a different Home Depot. Naturally our expectation were low before we arrived. But as we walked though their home gardening area, my wife quickly spotted the exact gates we wanted and we quickly grabbed almost all of the remaining gates available. At the check out counter, we asked if they can send someone by to check out our purchase and see if we are missing any parts that's required to get those gates up. An employee came by almost immediately (which is very rare in any of the Home Depots that we visited). She checked all the stuff we got in the shopping cart and told us we got everything right and are good to go. So I will have to say this was a very good visit. So this is Jim and I've never had such EXCEPTIONAL customer service ever! I had to take the time to write this. I was looking for pipes and Jim advises me I can save money by buying a large 10' pipe and have them cut and ridge it for me where was he months ago when I did another project. He took his time to make sure he got the correct answers from me in order to get the job done correctly. Even helping me he was courteous and still helped other customers as they came and asked for help. He is very knowledgeable on the how's and whys. I was truly amazed on how he took the time to help me and he did a phenomenal job. I didn't like Home Depot before bc of the lack of customer service but bc Lowe's machine was down I made a stop and they have me as a customer again due to Jim great service. Side note: a young man also helped with cutting my wood and he was also great, patient and super helpful. The first time I went there I was looking for a part for a faucet extension. I needed an adapter for my bathroom sink to the extension. The guy only ended up helping me find the size and then said we don't have the male to male I was looking for. I left frustrated and looked it up at home and lo and behold I found it. At their store online. Went in got help from another worker we found the adapter and bought it and now my faucet works. That was on Feb 9th. Today is Feb 18th. I go into the store looking for a l fitting for under my kitchen sink so I can get rid of the sprayer hose connection. I followed the employee as he was helping someone else but he took to long. So I went and looked again while waiting for him to finish. He goes to the gentleman next to me ignoring me. I went to the faucet isle instead. I found a worker there who told me to repipe the whole thing. There are other ways to go about this even if I have to find it online. Do not give your customers bad information just because I am a woman does not mean I am not able to fix anything. Smh. I ended up just cinching the nozzle under sink as it was unusable anyway and put in the soap dispenser I wanted to put in. Easy fix till I find the part I want to use for the sink later. So tired of this place. As most novice do it yourselves, I often buy more than I need or I buy several different sizes. Then when ever I finish my project, I return what ever I didn't need. The last time I did this, I returned several things. Some I had a receipt for and some I couldn't find the receipt for. The young lady in returns asked if I would just put it all together in a store credit and since I was buying more things anyway, I said sure. One of the items I bought was the new riobi fast charge battery set which I partially paid for with the store credit. I had asked one of the employees if my old charger would work with these new batteries and she said yes, so I took them. The batteries did not work with my old charger. So I went back to return them. Now I'm being told that I can't return the battery pack because I used a store credit to partially pay for them. Huhhhh. I've been shopping at home depot for a long long time and I've never had this issue. And what I don't get is why no one bothered to mention this policy when I initially returned the stuff nor the self checkout lady who I had asked about the battery pack initially and saw that I was paying with a store credit. I was then given a phone number to call some third party company to try and get approval to return the battery pack. These folks handling their returns are the rudest people you could ever speak to. It's like they know you are at their mercy, so they don't care. And now I'm stuck with a battery pack I can't use because I don't have the right charger. I've drove past this home depot and traveled an extra two miles to Lowes for a long time after getting garbage service at this cooper city store. Think I'm going to have to start doing that again. Don't order anything from Home Depot! I ordered three matching bathroom vanity sink tops online from Home Depot, all matching, in different sizes. Instead, I was delivered two of them in the same size. When I returned the wrong sink, I saw that they no longer had the size I wanted on the website. However, I was able to find a very similar sink from a different company in the size I wanted and ordered that to be delivered to the Davie Store. It was supposed to come in about ten days, but I got notice it was delayed, another week. No problem. But then I got notice of another delay. Two to three more days. Then again, Two more. I started calling customer service, and they kept promising it would be there in 2 more days. This happened four times. Finally, after a month delay, I called again and got an extremely nasty supervisor who told me that they could do anything about it, that the delivery company was to blame. They did not try to find out why it was delayed or even where it was when the called SAIA (the delivery company). By continuing to promise me a delivery soon, I stuck with them instead of ordering from a different seller. I finally cancelled the order because it became clear that I was being jerked around. Six weeks in, no vanity top, a permit that cannot be closed, frustrated contractor and plumber breathing down my neck. The worst customer service I've ever experienced. read more

Not one sign to let customers know where the line starts so people are always cu the line since they are not aware of the line going down the aisle. We needed a new refrigerator and the lady that helped us kept getting interrupted by other customers from all sorts of other departments and there was no one else to help them. Their selection was minimal and we had to look online while there, I could do that at home. We ended up not getting a refrigerator after an hour of looking because the one we picked was out of stock. We got a freezer instead to hold us over and safe our meat because our refrigerator broke. We needed a truck, so we went to rent one and this is where it got very frustrating. There was only one worker at the tool rental section and 4 people waiting in line. This man was SLOW. By time it was my turn he told me I had to sign up to rent the truck through my phone and mid sign up my phone died. I had been using my phone to help with the research project in the refrigerator ordeal. He said to come back when my phone had a charge. Should I have left the freezer there? Thankfully, my fiancé was already on his way there and used his phone but why are we depending on customers phones? There are plenty of older people who aren't tech savvy. I recently bought an 80in toolbox from this store, obviously from how big it was I had to get it shipped to my job so I could use it. When it arrived it was destroyed, it had scratches everywhere, the back was caved in, and the top was pushed in so bad the top drawer wouldn't open, which is where they put the keys. Not to mention it was delivered upside down. When I called I was hung up on 5 times so I had to leave work to go in person, when I got there I was given the run around, I was told to go to another store bc they didn't fulfill the order even though I paid there, so I drive 20 minutes to the other store and I was told to go back to the 1st store. At this point I was furious, I get back to the 1st store and was to go back to the other store again. I gave up, so I went home and got the number for the GM. When I talked to the GM I was told I should expect a call the very next day to schedule a pick up for them to pick the box back up and refund me, it has not been 4 days and I still have yet to receive a phone call. Came to this location about 45 mins ago. The staff and customer service here is nonexistent. After waiting in the bathroom mirror aisle for close to 30 mins to see if I would spot an employee walking around, I then had to search for one of these people. Which was another hassle considering they're either pretending to work or sitting in their break room doing nothing. After one heavy set guy told me he would "call someone for me" we waited around 20 mins and nothing. Then we asked another employee and told us the same thing. "I'll call someone for you." And no one yet again. Let me not forget to mention this place never had anything you want in stock. Too many times I've came here and they don't have what their website says they have in stock..... then when I ordered a toilet from online (10 days later) it came and I was then notified that is became damaged. I wish there were negative stars I could give. Needed to rent a mower. After 35 minutes, I walked out without one. Literally nobody ever showed up to the rental counter. A couple of associates popped their head in and asked if we had seen the guy that was supposed to be there but otherwise nobody came to help. After the line grew to about 10 people, I said screw it and left. I could've cut my yard with a pair of scissors In the time it took me to drive here, wait for somebody, and drive home. Was in and out in 20 minutes because they took the SKU number and made a point to find it and bring it to me and I was on my way. Now I buy vinyl blinds and the employee who obviously didn't pay attention the day they trained her on how to speak to customers is helping us.. We need blinds cut...get this... She tells us "the blinds you bought are the cheap ones".. I was like WTF!!!!!! When we showed her the sign she stormed off to get a manager (he was nice). I told her - next time she encounters a situation like this it's better to tell the customer the blinds don't fit the machine instead of saying they're cheap... My boyfriend and I recently moved into our new place I needed a truck to rent, when we entered Home Depot there was a little bit of a line however it moves quickly and customer service reps were ready to help. Shan was the woman who helped us to rent a truck with a bed big enough to fit a couch in and gave us all the information we would need, was friendly and even served us with a smile(that you could see through a mask!).
