This Home Depot location is real busy all the time, and always has what we are looking for. Probably because we check on Home Depot.com to see the bay location. There's always a staff member not too far away to help us if we need it.

This is a massive Home Depot with a Pro Center and a large garden and paint center. The employees here are like worker bees, always moving quickly. The paint aisle is filled with big brand items like Behr. There usually is one employee from each section that know everything and can provide options for whatever job you are doing. Good prices on charcoal grills and Ryobi One tools but prices have gone up on wood as it did everywhere. The most impressive item were the Milan shower panels from $199 - $349.

If I could give negative stars I would. Josh was the most unhelpful Home Depot associate I've ever come across. I shop at various Home Depot's for all my projects. I came in tonight for a three pack of air filters. There must've been 10,000 cases of air filters of extra product above the sales floor. Josh had no intention nor desire to check for me. What business can stay in business if you have nothing but empty shelves, management needs to walk their store they can't be blind to all these opportunities everywhere. Manager did give me a $23 air filter for eight dollars so that's a win.

This is a busy Home Depot. We stopped in for a few things. The store was filled with people shopping after Thanksgiving. It was hard to keep distance at times but to be expected on a Saturday. The staff that we ran into were friendly and helpful. We were able to find what we needed and check out quickly.

Long weekend are good for home projects. As we got done on top of our list, which is get the Christmas tree up, and pressure was the back patios, the one last project is to get the backyard gates up so we can keep the ducks (and the creepy cat fro next door) out of our property. Our first attempt was try to get the gates from the Home Depot close by our house. Since they don't carry the gates we like at that particular store, we decided to come to this store and press our luck. The employee at the first Home Depot, who was extremely polite and helpful, told us they don't carry this particular item in their stores, and told us we can either try to buy them online or try a different Home Depot. Naturally our expectation were low before we arrived. But as we walked though their home gardening area, my wife quickly spotted the exact gates we wanted and we quickly grabbed almost all of the remaining gates available. At the check out counter, we asked if they can send someone by to check out our purchase and see if we are missing any parts that's required to get those gates up. An employee came by almost immediately (which is very rare in any of the Home Depots that we visited). She checked all the stuff we got in the shopping cart and told us we got everything right and are good to go. So I will have to say this was a very good visit. Not only we got the items we were looking for, we actually got help from the staff in the store. For anyone who has visited either Lowe's or Home Depot knows what I am talking about here.

At the end of the day we decided to give a different Home Depot a try seeing we already had our hearts set on the grill we had wanted.

I asked a few questions and one of the guys was really straightforward and clear about the answers. He was really good about giving me the information I needed....that is one thing about Ace. They do have knowledgeable and friendly people that can assist with any questions. Ace Hardware Corporation is an American hardware retailers' cooperative based in Oak Brook, Illinois, United States. It is the world's largest hardware retail cooperative, and the largest non-grocery American retail cooperative. Founded in 1924 as "Ace Stores", the company changed its name to "Ace Hardware Corporation" in 1931. It grew dramatically following World War II, more than tripling its sales between the late 1940s and 1959. After the retirement of longtime president and founder Richard Hesse in 1973, Ace was sold to its retailers, becoming a retailer-owned cooperative. It first reached $1 billion in wholesale sales in 1985 and $5 billion in 2015. As of 2019, it has over 5,200 locations in 60 countries. Ace operates 17 distribution centers in the United States, and additional distribution facilities in China, Panama, and the United Arab Emirates. This particular store on Seabreeze is located in the large strip mall that houses the LA Fitness, TJ Maxx and the Total Wines and more...so it's easy to find and to park.

The showerhead was missing a washer so I need to exchange that. This morning, I walked into the Ace Hardware store and spoke to the cashier. He told me to go upstairs and exchange the two parts. I went upstairs to exchange the two parts and one of the employees started to interrogate me about who told me to come upstairs and exchange them. I told him that it was the cashier. He asked me what the name of the cashier was. I told him I didn't know the name of the cashier, but since he works there, he would know the name of the cashier. He absolutely refused to let me exchange the two pieces. I went back downstairs and returned the two purchases. The refund was refunded to my credit card. I then went to Home Depot on Oakland Park Blvd. and got the flapper valve and the shower head along with thread tape. Home Depot had plenty of employees on the floor. I asked one of the employees where the thread tape was. She looked it up on her handheld device and took me right to the product. To top it all off everything was a total of $25 cheaper than at Ace Hardware on the beach.
