I cannot recommend them highly enough. We hired My Movers Inc. for an interstate move (about 12 hours away.) After a short phone call, they responded with a rough estimate based on the size of our home the following morning, which was a great response time. They scheduled an in-person walkthrough that week, showed up on time, and had an itemized, specific estimate by the end of it. We were able to schedule the move then and there, and were given guidelines on how to pack our things for the move and what wasn't allowed (e.g. liquids, fragile loose items, etc.) on the truck. Movers showed up right on schedule and cleared our packed belongings and furniture in under 2 hours. Similar story for unloading: they arrived right on time, and got all our stuff off the truck in 2 hours. Even though we didn't have a ton of stuff, I was impressed with how quickly they were able to load and unload. Everyone we interacted with throughout the process was friendly and polite. We ultimately came in slightly under the original estimate, which may not always be the case, but I appreciate when a business estimates high. Pleasant surprises are always better than unpleasant ones. :)

But what really impressed me was how hard the crew worked to make up the time. They brought in additional people, hustled all day, and did everything they could to get us caught up. Everyone we worked with was polite and professional. There were a few minor issues with scuffs/chips to walls, baseboards, and flooring during the move. I reached out to the company, and while there was a brief delay in getting everything resolved (this is the height of moving season), they ultimately made everything right. They connected us directly with their handyman, who came out and repaired everything, going above and beyond and with a smile! Give us a frigging invoice to give to our insurance company for reimbursement of your ridiculous fee. 2) Pickup the discarded sofa you left in *my* POD, a violation of rules re the POD & an insult to me. 3) Show up on time. Arriving after 6:00 pm for a 3:00 appointment time is unacceptable. Plus the 2 who came were too exhausted to work as expected. Joshua's helper did the bulk of the work because Joshua was tired after moving his *own* house! 4) Think about placement. No thought was given to placement of my things. I had to keep reminding them to at least leave a path; Joshua didn't seem to grasp that. Then I couldn't get Joshua's attention re my box springs & frame. They needed alignment, so in desperation, I put my age 73 body on the floor to begin aligning my box springs with the bed. Finally done, I had to ask for help straightening the fame within the space. 5). I could say much more, but frankly, for the sake of my mental health, I will stop here and instead choose to listen to calming music. BOTTOM LINE: Hire at your own risk.

About 4 hours into the re-delivery of our belongings by their crew, we discovered that much of our furniture and personal property which had already brought into our new home appeared to be covered in mold. The contamination affected our brand-new home and required professional remediation. As a result, we were displaced and forced to live in a hotel for 50 nights while the issue was addressed. The owner, John Craft, acknowledged to us that our belongings had gotten wet and remained on their moving trucks for a period of time during the hot and humid month of June. Despite assurances from the company's insurance carrier, we have received very little communication or resolution. More than seven months later, we still do not have our belongings and have had to retain legal counsel to pursue claims against both Soft Touch Moving and the insurance company. This experience has been incredibly disruptive to our lives. Based on our experience, we would strongly caution others before trusting this company with their belongings.

It had to go through a wooden privacy gate, a patio door and stood on end to get into a hallway and bathroom door. At our age it wasn't even an option for us to attempt so I went directly to Yelp. I pulled up movers under Yelp, of course, and called three or four movers in the area. Bellhop charged by the hour, didn't seem dettered by the weight or standing on end and was available when we needed. Bellhop texted and emailed a confirmation and reminder while the lead mover introduced himself by text and confirmed the arrival time and exactly what they were moving a few days before. The day of the move they arrived separately and promptly, both were dressed appropriately (pants weren't down past their booty), polite, they worked well together, were careful and listened to suggestions my husband had without taking offense. We've had to move several large items into our house and knew what would work. We ended up having 3/4" to an 1" head clearance going through the bathroom door. They handled it like troopers and nothing was damaged. The move from start to finish only took an hour and 15 minutes. The bathroom vanity had no scratches and the marble top was in perfect shape. Bellhop doesn't provide furniture or appliance dollies unless you're renting a truck. We provided both for the movers but they weren't neccesary. They just carried the bathroom vanity and handled like pro's. If I need something moved again I won't hesitate to call Bellhops Moving.

When I called, Ann said "normal people" would be where they are supposed to be. They decided to have three movers and NEVER informed me. They moved the same stuff from my old house to the storage with 2 movers. Costing me $77 more per hour more than anticipated. I didn't authorize an additional mover. The owner came to my house last time to give me a quote and left his business card. I have misplaced it (while moving) and Ann refuses to give me his contact info.
