It is a blessing and a curse that 595 is such as far trek from home for me. 595 was on my list of places to check out for a hot minute, so I was happy to see it pop into my orbit when searching lunch spots near a recent appointment. Upon walking in during lunch, the bar was packed and was reminiscent of Cheers, where everybody knows your name. Bar staff promptly greeted us and let us know we could seat ourselves in the dining area at a table of our choice. During our short wait for menus and our server, we scoped out the beer menu and enjoyed the music selection. It was a bit loud, but the music was good so the volume was not an issue. I was stoked to see a solid lunch special selection. We immediately ordered the deviled eggs appetizer, a Blonde Ale for my husband, and a Lambic style apricot beer for me. For food, we decided on the buttermilk chicken sandwich with fries, the chicken bahn mi with the house made chips, and a slice of mango pomelo cheesecake for the road. Food and service were phenomenal. Tasty, perfect temperature, perfectly crispy, juicy and tender chicken, and the homemade cheesecake was arguably the best I have found in Vegas since moving here in 2018. If I ever have a rough day at work or just need a place to wind down to get a drink I come here, my favorite drink is the Mezcal cup and it just has a great mix of lime, mint, and cucumber topped with the burn of mezcal. The flavor makes it one of my favorite drinks. The ambience is amazing this place has such amazing decor, a great personality, and feels comfortable and inviting. The food here is amazing and never disappoins, I havent had too much on the menu since I don't eat pork or Shellfish but the items I have gotten like the beer batter pretzels and the hot fried chicken sandwich haven't disappointed. The quality is amazing and you can definitely tell the chefs in the back put in tons of effort and love on the food. I sit at the bar and the bartenders are always good, I haven't caught their names but I have come on different occasions and none of them have ever given me bad service. They're all so inviting and kind and always make sure I have everything I need. I tend to overtip of leave a 22-30% tip cause they deserve it for their amazing work. Hidden Gem for a REAL bar & kitchen combo! I came around 7pm for a solo adventure dinner & was well pleased! Off the bat, the ambiance is decorated and fun! The bar was 90% full and while I was struggling to see if there was a single seat welcoming for me to sit, the bartender unfortunately didn't welcome me or help me in my decision on where to sit. I did find a cute seat in the main seating area and was welcomed graciously by Lexi! Since I was new to the area and the location I asked what she preferred between 2 food items & 2 drinks & her recommendations were definitely not regrettable!! Their tap variety was excellent; my only compliant is that neither me nor my wife could get the tap list to load on our phones after repeatedly scanning their QR code for the tap list. I also had a berry cider (canned). All beers we had were amazing. We had a salmon poke bowl and cauliflower bowl and both were both generous portion and very tasty. I can't speak about the good amount of beer options that they have, but I have tried a good portion of the menu before I couldn't eat dairy. That spicy fried chicken sandwich is by far the best chicken sandwich I have ever had here in Vegas. That is saying a lot considering how many chicken sandwich places we have here in Vegas. I tried the Thai hummus that had a lovely honey hit to it. The deviled eggs are the bomb! I could have easily eaten two orders of deviled eggs with no problems. The deviled eggs are that tasty! I have tried the chili and wings a few times and both are definitely a home run. The to go order that I used to get constantly was the bbq pork Bahn Mi. Amy was so sweet. So cheerful and friendly. The place was fairly crowded but she handled every table like they were the only ones in the restaurant. When my husband and I questioned a particular beer, Amy made sure we would be happy with our selection. The bartenders are knowledgeable about their taps as well but I had no personal interaction with them so I can't call out anyone by name. If you're looking for a wide selection of craft beers or some fusion bar food then this is the place to go to. I'd say that this place is a pretty good gem when it comes to the South West area because those combinations are pretty hard to come by. And the cherry on top of that is that they're open pretty later at night (not 24/7 but still good). The interesting thing about this place is that you can always expect something new here whether it's the beer selection or the food specials that they serve. I enjoy coming here and not knowing what to expect which is part of the fun of it. You will for sure a wide selection of craft beers and a choice of bar style food with an Asian fusion twist. Side note that was pretty interesting is that they also serve High Balls here (Japanese whiskey drink). The bar sitting area is truly where it's at since you get a view of their chalkboard menu of beers and you also get to keep your beverage cold on this cold metal that sits in the middle of the bar. The service will be faster especially in later at night since it's mainly the bartender there. It is also pretty good if you have a party of people as it may accomidate a good amount of people.
