The bar was 90% full and while I was struggling to see if there was a single seat welcoming for me to sit, the bartender unfortunately didn't welcome me or help me in my decision on where to sit. I did find a cute seat in the main seating area and was welcomed graciously by Lexi! Since I was new to the area and the location I asked what she preferred between 2 food items & 2 drinks & her recommendations were definitely not regrettable!! Fun Fact, the kitchen is more Vietnamese based, so their specials are super delicious, vibrant and new day to day! Things you wouldn't think to be good at a bar, are in fact GOOD. When my husband and I questioned a particular beer, Amy made sure we would be happy with our selection. The bartenders are knowledgeable about their taps as well but I had no personal interaction with them so I can't call out anyone by name. But they seemed friendly, talking with the barstool crowd yet responding quickly to customer orders in the seating area. 595 Craft and Kitchen is always a great stop when we are visiting Las Vegas. A few craft brews, a margarita, and the Queen Bee were also enjoyed by the other ladies. Some of us ordered entrées and others appetizers to share. Was caught off guard entering the establishment and seeing a 21+ sign, and it being crowded so we walked out. A gentleman came out and ask if everything was ok. I let him know we thought it was a restaurant and were going to have lunch but we had a minor. He told us the other section was a restaurant and just couldn't sit at the bar. But you have to walk through the bar area to find seating. It's a very small place. Food was ok, but nothing exceptional. Service was friendly. Pricing is a bit high. This is an awesome spot if you want really good craft beer and amazing food. The beer is always changing from breweries all over. Sometimes they will do a takeover of a specific brewery and all the beers on tap are from that brewery. I fell in love with this place because they had beer from my hometown brewery, Russian River Brewing Company. And they had Pliny on tap!! Amazing staff. Everyone is super friendly and laid back. Tried this place out with my fiance when we were looking for something lowkey. He got the garbage fries and I got the taco salad with chicken and both were great! The drink selection was top notch and the food all tasted so fresh. The service was also incredible. Our server was so kind and insightful and really took the time to give us some solid recommendations for the restaurant itself but also the greater LV area. Some of the beers are made in-house including the Japanese rice lager I had. Had a good flavor and since it's 100+ degrees outside, it went down great! This review is based on one visit. We had two draft beers , one blonde/wheat beer and one porter. Their tap variety was excellent; my only compliant is that neither me nor my wife could get the tap list to load on our phones after repeatedly scanning their QR code for the tap list. I also had a berry cider (canned). All beers we had were amazing. We had a salmon poke bowl and cauliflower bowl and both were both generous portion and very tasty. Service was very friendly and fast, while seated at the bar as that was the quickest way to get seated. Ambiance: loud. I wouldn't recommended it for a nice quiet date or business meeting. Pico, guacamole, cilantro lime creama. I had the Ahi poké bowl. Very fresh ahi tossed in poké sauce with avocados, cucumbers, toasted sesame, nori, fried garlic chips and scallions on a bed of greens and rice. This tasted it so refreshing with the fresh ingredients. Couple of coworkers had the burger and enjoyed them with them being very juicy but still held together well. With the lettuce tomato pickles caramelized onion, pickles, fry sauce on a toasted brioche bun. You have to upgrade to their fries. House cut and doubled fried. So good. I was so happy when this place opened. The food here is amazing! I can't speak about the good amount of beer options that they have, but I have tried a good portion of the menu before I couldn't eat dairy. That spicy fried chicken sandwich is by far the best chicken sandwich I have ever had here in Vegas. That is saying a lot considering how many chicken sandwich places we have here in Vegas. I tried the Thai hummus that had a lovely honey hit to it. The deviled eggs are the bomb! I could have easily eaten two orders of deviled eggs with no problems. The deviled eggs are that tasty! I have tried the chili and wings a few times and both are definitely a home run. The to go order that I used to get constantly was the bbq pork Bahn Mi. Surprisingly a phenomenal Bahn Mi is hard to find here in Vegas. I generally don't like to eat in the restaurant because it does lack seating space. Been coming here for about 3 years now and always have a good experience. When you walk in, it is pretty hit or miss with the bartenders as they will see you walk in and some will either greet you and let you know you can grab a seat or some will just plain old ignore you and act like you don't exist, if that happens, there's always a super nice hostess who will eventually walk out from the kitchen and greet you and let you know you can grab a seat. We typically get the same food and drinks anytime we come but it's always so so good, the garbage nachos, fried pickles, burgers, can't go wrong with any of those! The drinks are delicious and you'll definitely order more than one of the cocktails or beers. It can get pretty busy and it's more of a local bar but we love that! They have a lot of the local beers and stickers throughout and TV to watch the games. The lights are never super bright and our server is always attentive, she even remembers us when we come in now. I wanted to write an updated review for 595 as we've been back a few times. You all, this spot is SO good. The selection of beers they offer is huge, and the food is absolutely to die for. The last time we were in, we had the crispy mushroom tacos that were so flavorful. This is my go-to order from now on, they are delicious. Morgan got the BBQ Pork Banh Mi, and that was amazing too. Seated pretty quickly. I enjoyed being able to same the tap before making the decision on which spirit to order. The place the way it's set up, one could find the environment to be loud at times. Also depends on the crowd. There were a group of guys sitting closer to the bar and they were a bit rowdy. I enjoyed the pulled pork tacos. Seasoned well and just enough. If you're looking for a wide selection of craft beers or some fusion bar food then this is the place to go to. I'd say that this place is a pretty good gem when it comes to the South West area because those combinations are pretty hard to come by. And the cherry on top of that is that they're open pretty later at night (not 24/7 but still good). The interesting thing about this place is that you can always expect something new here whether it's the beer selection or the food specials that they serve. I enjoy coming here and not knowing what to expect which is part of the fun of it. You will for sure a wide selection of craft beers and a choice of bar style food with an Asian fusion twist. Side note that was pretty interesting is that they also serve High Balls here (Japanese whiskey drink). The bar sitting area is truly where it's at since you get a view of their chalkboard menu of beers and you also get to keep your beverage cold on this cold metal that sits in the middle of the bar. The service will be faster especially in later at night since it's mainly the bartender there. It is also pretty good if you have a party of people as it may accomidate a good amount of people. People always hype up this place. Now I see why. Everything was so good and done nicely. Everything had a nice balance. Nothing too sweet or salty. Wings were great and came out super hot and fresh. Deviled eggs were a nice surprise. Pork Belly Tacos were some of my favorites with the fat from pork belly going perfectly with the cabbage and pickled Fresno chilies which I am sucker for. Packed for a Thursday with the bar full and tables just about full, but no issues getting everything quickly. Got served by a guy with a beard and another with long hair. Both super cool and welcoming. Also gave good recommendations. The VGK shot specials hit the spot if you want to feel nice during a game. Prices are pretty good for today's standards. We have been wanting to stop in here for some time. 595 sits on Rainbow blvd off Tropicana. A small bar that serves quality gourmet food. Always interested in trying new places even if there is a hint of doubt. Called to place an order for pickup and could hear how busy they were. Told it would take 20 minutes. Drove over to have a beer while it was being prepared. Walking in at 6pm during the week, this place was jamming. The 12 seats at the bar were taken and the tables seemed to all be full. I was able to take a seat at the bar. Speaking with a few regulars, they all said the food was good and haven't had anything bad. They even recommended a few draft beers before the bartender could. We ordered Pork Banh Mi, Hot Fried Chicken sandwich and fries. Each sandwich comes with small bag of chips. When I arrived, I saw the bartender deliver a to go order to a patron at the bar. I figured when my food was ready, the bartender would bring it to me as well. Looking at the time I began to wonder where my food was. I saw I had a bit of beer left in my glass and thought maybe he's not bringing it because I had some left. I asked for the check and then the bartender went to check on the food. He was back there for a few minutes, so I thought maybe it wasn't ready. He came out with the bag of food. Thinking it was just finished being made about 30+ after my original call in. All of the food was great. Their fries are money! The only bummer was the bottom bun of the fried chicken sandwich was soggy. To me, means the food had been sitting in the kitchen for a bit for it to get as soggy as it did. Seeing that the regulars had good reviews and the food was tasty, we will be back for more.
