We had such a great experience at Lucky Penny, we ended up back there the next day! I was with a table of 6 and snagged 11am reservations both days. I would say Friday was significantly busier than Thursday with everyone checking in and getting their weekend started at Red Rock. The hashbrowns were hands down some of the best I've had out, and the all of the proteins were cooked really well. I had their burger which was fantastic- we saw a lot of the $5.99 every day all day cheeseburgers going out and I definitely would make a stop just for that. My wife and I only make it up to the Lucky Penny when we visit my dad who lives in Vegas. That being said, we visit my dad as often as we can. On a recent trip to Reno, we stopped in and met my dad for breakfast at the Lucky Penny at Red Rock. It's a very well decorated 24/7 casino eatery with Kino game results displayed on each wall as if to remind you of where you are. The menu is pretty extensive, so I have been trying different things each visit. I've had The American, The Vegas Cheesesteak, The Lucky Breakfast Burrito, and the Mushroom, Spinach, and Swiss Omelet. All of them were fantastic. We have had to wait a bit to get seated at times, but that is just a sign of it being a tremendous place to grab a meal. The tables are great, service is impeccable, and everyone we have seen or spoken with are having a great time and eating fantastic food. The Lucky Penny is well worth stopping in for a meal any time of the day or night. You won't be disappointed. read more

The Station casino late night menu is the best and so affordable (especially after losing all your money-haha). The service was great and our server was attentive. Our son was losing his money while we waited for him to join us. Our server checked on us and came by to ensure we were ok since we didn't order right away. It was nice to be able to sit and relax. The restaurant was not loud either. To View the late night menu, you had to ask for it or look it up here on yelp. The menu is simple so yelping the menu helped. we order the Deuces and 2 cheeseburger meals. The burger was good and charbroiled. The fries were piping hot. If you're starving you could add a 2nd patty! The 1000 island dressing was really good too. Definitely not storebought (i'm a 1000 island dressing snob) The Deuces breakfast place was just right with 2 of everything and a nice serving of hash brown. The cost to eat for 3 of us was 18.00. That's so unheard of nowadays. Last, their display case of dessert was so tempting! The strawberry lemonade was tempting. The mocha was too Shoot everything displayed looked so good but we were full and it was too late to fit in a dessert. Went in to have breakfast on our way out of a staycation. Arrived at 11 am and just wanted to split a short stack and ham steak w/ coffee. Usually, food and service is fairly quick, dining room was half full. After 30 minutes waiting with no food in front of us , I asked dining room manager to find our order. Food came right out, but both were cold... plates were warm, but not the pancakes. Ham steak dry on top. Either it was forgotten or just left in the window too long. I said something to DR manager and she apologized at gave us a comp meal. Probably a one off experience, because they are usually spot on. After spotting those eye-catching billboards all over town, my wife and I decided to check out our nearest Station Casino and see what the $5.99 burger-and-fries deal was really about. As always, the entrance to Red Rock has that distinctive smell--I'm guessing it's some kind of air freshener or sanitizer trying to mask cigarette smoke. It doesn't bother me, but my wife isn't a fan. We waited just a few minutes before asking the hostess about the special. She explained it's available all day, every day, as long as at least one person in the party has a Station Casino Boarding Pass (their players' card). Only one card is needed. We were seated quickly and greeted almost immediately. Already knowing what we wanted, we ordered two of the $6.00 burgers and two waters. Our waitress smiled and gently corrected us: "They're actually $5.99." We had a good laugh about that. The food arrived in about 15 minutes, and we were pleasantly surprised. The burger was a solid, classic size--not huge, but definitely enough for a satisfying meal--and the fries were generous. It came dressed with mayonnaise, fresh lettuce, and tomato, plus a small side of pickles and a cup of ketchup. It's not the best burger in town by any means, but it's genuinely good--maybe even great--when you factor in the $5.99 price. One of the few times I've eaten healthy in Vegas. There was a 20 minute wait for a table so we had time to play a bit before they called to notify us a table was available. Service was good. They took our order promptly and the food came quickly. 2 of our party ordered the breakfast combo but were disappointed with the sausage which was mixed with apple and they were expecting regular sausage that isn't sweet. Stopped by Lucky Penny around 2am on a Monday for their late night specials and ordered the $9.99 steak and eggs. The place wasn't packed at all but I still waited almost half an hour for my order, which felt a bit long considering it was a single plate and I was dining solo. And my server seemed a little dismissive when he asked if I really didn't want anything else from the regular menu. I got the vibe that he was expecting every customer to spend more? I asked for the steak medium rare but it came out looking more like rare, especially on one side. At that point, I didn't have the energy to bring it up so I just ate what I could and headed out. I also asked for lemons for my water and had to ask three times before they were finally brought out and that was only after my food had already arrived. Upon being seated, the server was there quickly to get our drink and food order. We were between the Deuces Wild and Steak and Eggs. The server honestly told us that while the steak is good (6 oz) just be mindful that it's $9.99 so set expectations accordingly. With that - we understood and opted for the Deuces Wild. You can choose between bacon and sausage and we opted for bacon. The food came out very quickly - as expected for not being a busy time. The eggs were perfectly over easy, the hash browns fluffy and good. The bacon was just OK - it could have been a little more done in my opinion. The only kicker is I asked for my rye toast dry and it came out slathered and dripping in butter. I didn't see anyone to flag down at the time so I just dealt with it. I do like that they have marble rye, but again, it was dripping in butter - which I wanted the toast dry anyhow. But I noticed their late night menu specials prices are kinda the same pretty much as the daily ones, maybe an online glitch. And with the red rock rewards card you get 10% off your check but only during late night hours. Anyway, our server Jose was very prompt and aware, lots of drink refills even after we paid the check as we stayed to chat. It's never too busy especially on a weekday evening, and their dessert bar is so delectable even just to look at. Man I miss their cookie dough croissant though! I hope they bring it back some day. It was an off time at 2pm so I chose Lucky Penny for breakfast. The hostess told me I had to give her my name and number and they'll text me in about 20 minutes when a table is ready (Party of 1). So I sat in a chair by the video poker facing the hostess. I received a text letting me know that they'll let me know when my table is ready. 10 minutes later they had a changing of the hostess/hostess. I then watched a new host seat over 6 different parties of 1person, 2ppl, 4ppl,etc. I walked over and asked the host if all these people had a reservation? He said no, they were just taking people in line. I explained to him what happened and showed him my confirmation from the hostess 15 minutes ago to wait... and so he the sat me at a table near their counter. 20 more minutes later I was finally able to get someone's attention for a cup of coffee! They were serving people all around me with no one checking my table or making any eye contact with me. I was finally able to order and received my breakfast about 30 minutes after being seated. My fruit bowl contained old brown pineapple & Watermelon that tasted as if it was sitting out for days. The rest of my breakfast was good. I received my check and was told I just pay at my table and someone will be back. AGAIN almost 15 minutes before I could get anyone's attention to pick up my cash to pay my bill. I brought my Mom here for lunch one day and we had an amazing experience. I was dying to try the burger here as I've heard nothing but great things about it. The burger came back medium rare, I think. Not a lot of pink but some there. I like my burgers done. No pink. This was my fault as I forgot to mention that upon ordering. My Mom got the fish and chips, and she absolutely loved it. I took a bite and it was delicious. I think it was beer battered, which is fine, but I think it had a little more beer than I would have liked. The burger was quite tasty. I've never been so it was our first time. 8/5/26 around 2pm. Had a horrible waitress named Debrah/Deborah. Had the personality of a wet mop. Was very rude and short with us. I ordered a $6.25 Dubai chocolate roll that was immaculate. There were only two left and it was enjoyable nonetheless. The pricing on the food was reasonable for the atmosphere and service but also the quality of the food. Had there been more food, I would have said it was an excellent experience, but I throughly enjoyed it for the most part. Red rock as a casino in Vegas is nice however, way off the strip. I rather go to the strip in Vegas do to having a variety of things to do unlike this area in the desert without any other places nearby worthy of being visited. We were up late and wanted to try something new. We decided we wanted to go to a place that had late night breakfast specials and wanted to try the late night specials at Red Rock. When we arrived, we were seated with their regular menu and were confused. We had to ask the server if they had a menu for their night night special, it was only then that we were given the menu after showing them our player card to ensure we are rewards members of station casino. Their late night special is from 12am - 6am. The food was pretty good. My husband and I loved the chicken tenders. It was crispy but so juicy. The ranch and buffalo dips went well with the chicken. The steak and eggs breakfast was delicious. I definitely loved their strawberry jelly (sorry, not pictured). It tasted so good and homemade. The hash browns were a bit too crispy for me, but still good. And the freshly squeezed orange juice, was great. Usually pulp bothers me, but the juice was good. Overall, the ambiance was nice. The food was acceptable, nothing special but definitely not bad. Service was extremely slow; it took a very long time to receive our orders after placing them. Worse, the turkey sandwich arrived without any turkey (how does that happen?) We requested the manager. She responded by laughing it off, excusing the chef for being busy with other orders, offered no apology or accountability, and provided no compensation whatsoever. She even came and removed the incorrect item from in front of us and brought a replacement. Again, no compensation no apology. After we finished eating, my friend paid the bill and left a generous tip. As we were walking out, the employee at the register rudely called and asked us to go back and retrieve the check from the table for him (which was his responsibility to do). My friend turned around and did it, but the request was unnecessary, disrespectful, and showed poor customer service--the employee claimed he normally collects the checks from tables to tally. It's unfortunate bc this restaurant has a convenient location, a relaxed ambiance, and food that isn't bad for a quick bite. However, the overall service was unprofessional and lacking in basic respect, which completely ruined our experience. This was our first visit, and it was bad enough that we have no plans to return. The special doesn't start until 11PM-6AM, I believe. At the time of this review it was $9.99 for the Steak and Eggs and I think $5.99 for the Cheeseburger. Both these items alone are a reason just to try it out. It's decent quality and it is at a really good price. Don't come here expecting high quality steakhouse meats as this is more of a diner type of feel. When it's late night, there may be a lot of people here so just be cautious that it can get busy. The hostess suggested to us previously to sit at the bar since it'll be a faster service, but we decided to sit at the table. The wait wasn't too long at about 10-15 minutes so it wasn't that bad. Food was delicious, but unfortunately my partner got severe food poisoning after eating here. We came around lunchtime my partner ordered the breakfast burrito and I ordered a sandwich. We each took half of our meals home, and the only other thing me and my partner had eaten that day was a homemade smoothie that morning. They finished the rest of the breakfast burrito for dinner, and around 3am woke up violently throwing up and extremely sick. The vomiting continued until around 3pm the next day. This honestly raised concerns for us about food handling and cleanliness practices.
