Food was great, a bit more variety in their menu would be awesome, since this is currently the only place to get actual food in Lee Canyon. But our server was very nice, as was the cook. Food came out very fast which was excellent after the long drive up here. Beautiful Mountain views and wild horses is a great change to the asphalt dystopia that is Las Vegas. Can't wait to come back again.

My husband and I drove about an hour to Lee Canyon/Bristlecone to get away from the heat. We sat upstairs on the patio and waited for about 20 minutes before we ordered at the bar. (We arrived around 6pm so understandably busy.) The only food items available were flatbreads. No appetizers or salads. We ordered the Philly cheese flatbread (pictured). I had two bites. The best thing about this place is the gorgeous views and drinks!

Overall place is great and has a nice view of the ski resort. Service with the waitresses has been great; both women were very nice. Bartender (tall white woman) however needs to smile more; she just stood there and made us wait to order a drink until we said "hellooooo". I liked the giant pretzel the best and their hot cocoa was really good.

Bristolecone is located on the second floor of the main building at Lee Canyon is what I think might be the main restaurant? I honestly don't know, but I do know that it's there. My fiancee and I came here for lunch a few weeks back and the first thing the waitress said to us was "Be careful of bees, they swarm the food" and I want to make it very clear that the bees were not the reason I'm giving this place two stars, although we were both swarmed by bees while trying to eat, but hey, that happens in nature. The waitress we had was super nice and brought us water and a menu right away. The menu here is pretty basic offering a few different appetizers, salads, and entrees to choose from but we decided to split a Philly cheesesteak and some BBQ chicken wings. First I dug into the Philly cheesesteak and it was pretty solid, nothing to rave about but an overall pretty decent Philly cheesesteak. Next came the chicken wings....the really bad chicken wings. The wings were a decent size but pretty much just resembled bagged chicken wings from the grocery store, which isn't awful, but like, come on, nobody wants that from a restaurant. Overall, Bristlecone isn't a great place to eat, and if you find yourself at Lee Canyon I would probably check out Bighorn Grill instead. The food was a mixture of solid and subpar, although the service was good and the view is honestly unbeatable being some of the most beautiful mountains outside of Las Vegas, but most importantly, check this place out for yourself and you might just have a different experience.

I went skiing at Lee Canyon for the first time this season. My dad and I decided to eat here for lunch and we definitely didn't regret it. They only had one server working today so actually getting our order in was a bit slow but once it was in, we got our food fairly quickly. We ordered a BBQ Chicken Pizza and a Soft Pretzel with cheese dip. The BBQ Chicken Pizza was very good. It had a nice crust and the chicken was tender. The Soft Pretzel was warm and had a good amount of salt on it. The cheese dip was really tasty and had a hint of jalapeño, I believe it was, in it. It was nice to eat our food with the view of the ski slopes as well. In my opinion, out of the restaurants at Lee Canyon, this one is the best.

    Nice view

We always have a wonderful time visiting this venue. STEPHANIE has been our server the last few times here. Stephanie is very personable & proficient. She makes everything fun & friendly. The food is quite tasty! Today we tried the pepperoni flat bread pizza which was awesome & an order of chicken wings. The wings are really good! We brought our pup, so they are dog friendly....even ordered a side of grilled chicken for him for only $4. Great views of the chair lift and mountains. We loved it!

Flat bread quality was not worth $18. I understand you are in an area where prices will be high, but the quality did not meet expectations.

After a hiking the Upper Bristlecone trail, we were a little famished and decided to stop here for a bite before heading back down the mountain. The weather was perfect and we opted for patio dining. I have dined here twice and the food is good. This time I ordered the fish tacos and beer. We were served pretty quickly. My tacos were decent not incredible but then again I was up in the Spring Mountains not near an ocean. My beer was satisfying although I am not a fan of pale ales but when it's all they offer, one has to make sacrifices. Let me speak about the bar. My husband and I were both so excited to see that they had preserved a portion of the original bar that used to be here before they renovated and built the new lodge. After skiing, we would always stop in here for a shot or two of Jagermeister. Happy they saw it fitting to preserve some Lee Canyon history. The best part of dining here is the views. You are completely surrounded by the gorgeous Spring Mountains that make up our ski area - Lee Canyon. I love it in the summer up here as it is so pleasant compared to the rest of the valley with temperatures consistently 30-40 degrees cooler than the city. Service was efficient not overly friendly. Weekends get really busy up here so thank goodness that the resort has a huge parking lot. See you this summer Bighorn Grill!

You don't need mayo nor ketchup, though I ordered both--it was just that gooey and flavorful. We'd definitely come back again as you cannot beat the scenery to watch sports outdoors.

Guy who checked our IDs let us know this place is like walking into a Midwestern basement and that they serve beers only. I thought this was so helpful because imagine walking in and thinking they served cocktails only to realize it was beer only. When we walked in it did look like you walked into a basement. Lol The place is very retro and I loved the beer cans on the wall. They have a photo booth located in the back right corner for $5 for 2 strips. Honestly, this place was cool but only downside was I felt like it had dead air. I was sweating in there, but the vibe did overpower my only complaint. Service was good. We sat at the bar and were helped right away. I looked through their menu and settled on a fruit beer while my friend had a stout. Trust, there's something for everyone whether you love or like beer. This is a proper local craft brewery and taproom restaurant, with family roots going back four generations in the city, and they lean into that local identity with a solid house beer lineup alongside the usual bar standards. Wasn't too busy, which was great, meant we actually had good seats for the game. Ok options for slot machines too, this being Vegas and all. I had the fish and chips and it was good, though every place really skimps out on the sauces lately, unless that's just me being picky about my dipping ratios. Nice selection of local drinks overall. They had me try one of their more out-there brews, some kind of skunk-named one, and it genuinely smelled like Cheech and Chong's basement. Points for the experience, even if I stuck to my regular pour after that.

We added Canyon Restaurant to our trip itinerary only after resolving our misunderstanding: it had NOT burned down in 2021 (that was Mt. Charleston Lodge, a couple miles further up Kyle Canyon). Canyon Restaurant is integral to "The Resort on Mount Charleston" which is what the sign reads. Oddly, both Apple Maps and Google Maps identify it as "The Retreat on Mount Charleston." We were not hotel guests, so this review is only about our dining experience. The dining room was spacious and light, and very pleasing, with large windows capturing some views (and Kyle Canyon traffic). I had a very good Old Fashioned from the bar. Our menus did not match those you'll see on their website, nor those in the Yelp reviews. However, there were plenty of good choices. I had the wedge salad and it was excellent; generous and fresh ingredients. My wife had the baked half chicken. Also excellently prepared. The service was very good and our waitress could not have been more helpful and friendly. While my wife was briefly absent from the table I asked our waitress if they did "birthdays." She said not really, but she could bring a scoop of ice cream to our table after the meal. I said "well, I really wanted a song" (i.e. like they do at the chain restaurants, :-)). She demurred, but didn't totally rule it out. (Yes, it was my wife's birthday.) At the end of the meal, the waitress indeed showed up with an indulgent bowl of really delicious ice cream + two spoons!
