My seat fell apart on my ride today so I called Giant to see if I could bring my bike in and get help fixing it. Whoever answered the phone was so kind and told me to bring it right in. After I showed them my bike seat they told me I was missing a screw and they went into their back room and found a spare screw and fixed my bike seat. I interacted with all 3 employees working during my visit and all were exceptionally kind and helpful. I honestly can't remember the last time I've visited a business and have been treated so well. I bought a MTB for the wife on line from Giant. They made it real easy. I shopped around on line and I found the Giant stance 2 had all the components I thought were important, in her size at the right price. So I bought it and they allowed me to apply for 1 year same as cash while I was on the web site. I finalized everything and they shipped the bike to Giant in Summerlin. They assembled it and I picked it up, all in less than a week! The service was good. Even though they were really busy, the guy that helped us took his time and got everything right. I am in awe of this place! I am not just talking about the quality of service and merchandise, which are terrific, but what impressed me so much is the human factor which is so rare these days. Yesterday I while walking to the store I was attacked on the street. When I got there, I was hurt physically and emotionally. I have a Giant E-Mountain bike and I'd never take it anywhere else. This shop is friendly, knowledgeable, and beyond helpful. Each employee I've had contact with has taken the time to explain what they needed to do to my bike and why. They've always told me what repairs I can handle at home and even explained how to do them. They answer questions even when you're not buying that trip. I would bring any brand bike here. I always feel welcome and never like I'm burdening the shop or it's employees. They answer the phone for quick questions and they always somehow seem to have lots of stock from gloves to sealant to helmets. Great bikes, poor customer service. Walked in, asked what kind of bike I was looking for, told them looking for simple commuter/road bike. The sales person point blank says if your serious about biking that I should be looking at higher-end bikes (upper $2k - $3k.) Plus since he is a fitness trainer, his opinion matters more than mine. Hard push on the upsell, not even suggesting a what I was looking for or even staying even close to my price range. Before I could say anything, just walked away to help another customer that just walked in. Maybe a sign outside saying unless your willing to spend 3 - 4k, dont bother coming in. I bought a trance E bike and they gave me a good price and were very helpful in explaining everything. I brought my son's Trance in to have a wheel straightened. They determined it was a tire and not the wheel. They could have sold me a tire but where honest and told me it was good to ride as is. They are very knowledgeable on mountain bikes and have answered every question, (there have been a lot), we had with kindness and thoroughly explained everything. Got a flat and decided I'd take the opportunity to swap out tubes and tires front and back. Called several places and was told 10 days or more to get it back. Called here and was told it shouldn't take a day. Arrived at 1:30 p.m. on a Tuesday and got a call the bike was ready at 3:30 p.m. I furnished the tires and tubes so it was just labor. I own a 2021 Trance X Pro Adv 2 29'er. My girlfriend and I went riding off of Bears best to hit some of the local trails and somewhere on Bronc (a local trail) something busted on my rear hub that wouldn't allow me to pedal. I thought the weekend of riding was over. That is until we went to Giant Las Vegas and Ryan (their master mechanic) took the bike, removed the rear wheel, examined the hub, and found out I busted a spring, cleaned it, lubed it and replaced it all in just about under 30 minutes! Without Ryan and his expertise and mastery my weekend of shredding, sending it and feeling the 'Gnar' would be over! As a Latino man I had to endure racism as they kept taking White customers in front of me for over 30 minutes. I came to have maintenance done on my back tire for my bike. The unprofessional staff made me wait 30 minutes, and then staff got angry when I acknowledged my wasted time. The same guys then kept putting customers ahead of me. The worst service I've ever had in the bicycle industry. Stay FAR away from this lazy and terrible service location! I just picked up my bike from a tune up, and am very happy with this Giant Bike location. I felt they were honest, clear and fair with what needed to be fixed and adjusted. The staff was attentive and answered my questions. The work was completed earlier than expected as well. I even had a small problem after the tune up, and they helped fix it on the spot. They made adjustments had us ride around the building and made further adjustments as needed. Spent about 20-30 minutes with us. Paid for a basic "tune up" and well worth it. I took my road bike into Giant of Summerlin because the chain was falling off. They recommended new chain; new large front sprocket and new rear cassette. I said fine. They installed the front chain dangerously long. I noticed this and brought the bike back. They removed a chain length. This was after I had too bring the bike back to them because they had not installed the cassette properly and the front derailleur cable had been damaged (I believe they damaged the cable but I could not prove it even though the derailleur was working fine when I took it to them.) They fixed the cable for $50.00 but did not fix the cassette even though I asked them to test ride the bike. Well I took the bike home and rode it to test their work. I found the cassette still loose. I took the bike back and they refused to fix the bike. So I immediately took the bike to Pro Cyclery. They fixed it in 10 minutes tightening the cassette and adjusting the "B" tension and the derailleur position--NO CHARGE. Do not go to Giant Of Summerlin. read more

I was looking to purchase a used 2019 TCR Advanced 1 KOM online at pro closet, which was in very good condition and the price was in my range. So I wanted to test ride one before I purchased it. So living in Los Angeles the closest one that was in stock was at this store. So already going to Vegas, I've decided just to make a quick trip here just to test ride it. I met one of the owners here, Barry, which was one of the most friendliest, helpful and knowledgeable person in the bike business. When I told him that I was looking into purchasing this particular bike online, he decided to knock out 20% of the base price. I would be paying a little bit more than pro's closet, however, I would be getting it new and getting the warranties that pro's closet wouldn't offer. I was able to give the bike a test run around the store outsIde and boy did it feel smooth, light and fast coming from riding a fitness/hybrid bike for the past six months. He told me he knew some people in the LA area (Giant Santa Monica and Just Ride LA) so if I would to purchase it, I can basically continue my free adjustments and tune up for a year over there instead of making the drive all the way to Vegas. Heck, he even offered me if I wanted to join in a morning bike ride with him and a crew the following day to test it out! I was like... wow! I did some thinking over night and wanted to give it one more test run before making my final decision. I gave him a call hours later just to see the final estimate of how much the bike and how would the finance options work and he answered it fully. The following morning, I asked if I can give it another test run and he said just go for a longer test ride in the senior community nearby. He actually gave me the key code for that area and went for a couple of miles. After the ride, I've decided to get it financed and Barry was able to answer all of the financials and what the estimate would be in a monthly basis. Heck, he even threw some freebies in there as well. He made sure that all of my questions were answered to the full extent, as well as offering the most honest recommendations. He had his mechanic go through with it in detail and got me fitted as well, since I had my bike cleats in my car. He was able to adjust the stem on the handlebars to make it suited for my height and comfortability. He self diagnosed how I was riding on the trainer to adjust the saddle forward/backward and the height. I had no clue what tubeless tires were so he gave me the basics of how it works and what the benefits are for them. This was truly the best buying experience ever, especially paying for a really expensive bike. Barry was truly professional and honest. I'd totally recommend him if you are looking into purchasing a new bike! Thanks again Barry! I'm just hoping that he can follow up and get a local bike shop near my area so I can get it serviced there, since I'm hearing and feeling some unusual clicking sound in my front derailleur. Purchased a new Giant Mountian bike at the summerlin store a few months ago for my wife. She received a primo fitting from the start and enjoys riding her new bike. A week ago went shopping at the same store only to find out the E bike I wanted was sold out at that store. The Steve salesperson/bike technician called to see if same bike was available at Mountian Edge store. Well sure enough they had a bike for me. I arrived at this store great atmosphere, equipment care, excellent staff, knowledge and customer service. Here I received primo fitting from the start. After spending a few days on my new E bike I went to the Summerlin store to have my seat and a few things looked over. Steve made a seat adjustment and gave me a second fitting to ensure my bike fit like a glove. My good friend Lonnie Myers, sent a handful of friends at both locations to buy and none of them have been disappointed. For new first time bikers don't buy online or waste your time shopping around. Stopped by when I learned they were close and I needed my shock pressured / pumped. The service tech invited me to bring my bike in and give it a quick pump. He was knowledgeable and nice enough. I felt awkward enough bringing a Gary Fisher bike from 2013 that I built into a Giant shop. I also didn't want to leave my bike outside while I check out the shop, so I didn't stay around to check things out. They surely had an amazing selection and probably are the best around. Maybe. I hate to complain about free service so I won't. I'll complain about the guy who said "that's all" as I left and while he was measuring someone else to get them the right fit for their new bike I'd assume. Only lost one star for that. Should have been three. If it was a test, you failed it. (Surely because I work on my own bike and don't own a Giant I'm not a potential customer anyway.
