My daughter with her new bike.
    Matthew H.

We went to three different bike shops/stores while on the hunt for a better bike for my 12 year old. I should have just went to Team from the beginning. They had a great selection of in stock bikes, and the gentleman that helped us was amazing. He knew what size she'd need, made sure she was comfortable on the bike, suggested additional items (like a kickstand and water bottle holder), and got us out the door in time for her to ride her new bike that evening! Personal and professional service from the time we walked in the shop.

Family owned and operated. Family is very friendly and customer conscientious. Tops all of the bike shops I've visited in Cincinnati!

There was always a great variety and a nice clearance section. My husband always has luck too. They also have a really big dog section and sell many of my favorite healthy snacks at a fraction of the cost. I usually pay at the grocery store. My only reason for not giving five stars is that upon my last visit, the bathroom and the dressing room were very dirty... Like dirty enough there was no way they had been cleaned that day, or maybe even the previous day or day before. Other than that, everything was great. The staff was friendly and parking was super easy because it's located in a big plaza.

It was late August, so I understand things may have been a bit out of season. However, more than half of the clothing just seemed like regular clothes rather than hiking/outdoor gear. The store was also pretty disorganized, with clothing laying on the floor, and the inventory was very picked over. There were a lot of empty spaces on the shelves and racks. That being said, I have found a few things here with a little luck, but overall there isn't much that catches my eye here.

The first pair, the guy at this location told me just to grab a replacement, which made me spend a few hundred on shirts because of good business practices. This time, the guy refused to honor the guarantee on the pair included in the picture. Claiming normal ware and tear on the back of the jeans clearly on the middle inseam! I told him after a year goes by, I'll stop bringing them back in. Already ordered replacement ridge pants that hopefully hold up better (not as light as Meridian unfortunately). I'm not looking for handouts, but want to get my money out of them so it's not a complete waste (I have all the colors). Now I've lost a lot of confidence in the company as a whole. I have a lot of their clothing, backpacks, and accessories. Before, I was assured that the quality is so good that they'll stand behind it. Now that they're not, the quality must be causing them too many problems to keep up with that assurance. Third picture is the size of pants compared to fresh order made a month ago. I haven't added on in size which would be a meaningful denial as well. He just kept repeating the same thing like one of my toddlers. Just doing what he's told is my guess.

The subject of bugging out and Bug Out Bags is a popular one and for good reason, disasters like…read morehurricanes, earthquakes, tornadoes, flash floods or other natural disaster, could force survivors to "head for the hills" in search of safer ground. We are constantly threatened by a series of potential disasters, both natural and man-made. For someone new to being a Survivalist building your first Bug Out Bag can seem like a big task. Everybody you read about has been tweaking theirs for months or even years and has a pile of gear built up. The military load bearing system is set up in a 3 day (web gear), 5-7 day (rucksack), and a 14 day (duffle bag/footlocker). It's hard to know where to start, but if you cover all of the basics in a survival situation you will still be much better off than 99% of the people. A Bug Out Bag, (also called a BOB, Get Out of Dodge Bag, GOOD, or 72 Hour Bag) is usually designed to get you out of an emergency situation and allow you to survive self-contained for up to 3 days. A lot of people plan their Bug Out Bag to sustain them for much longer than that, but there is always a limit to what you can carry on your back and a 3 day target is a good place to start. I like how Preppers Edge has developed a complete line of Bug Out Bags that range from short or long term needs. Taking the guess work out of what to pack is of vital importance to me. I've spent countless hours of research on the web and have concluded that Preppers Edge offers the most comprehensive and well assembled bags money can buy. I wouldn't trust the survival of my family to any other brand.

They have great clothing for outdoor activities, carrying the top brands like Barbour which is high quality and hard to find. The higher retail prices mentioned in other reviews has more to do with the higher quality of the brands carried, their prices are in line with other small retailers for the same brands. The brands they carry will last a long time, so one pays more upfront but does not need to replace the item again, saving money over time. Single purchase is also a very sustainable friendly way to shop. But onto a review of the store, it isn't a place where you'll find fancy displays or wasted floor space but it certainly a place where you can find what you're looking for when you need things fishing, shooting or other outdoor recreation. They have hand tied flies, other flies, some other fishing products and they can help with learning. They carry high quality foot ware, outerwear, clothing (men's and women's) plus nice accessories. The shop is located on the Main Street in Hyde Park Square and is a great place for guys to hang out while your SO shops all over the Square. We enjoyed our first visit and will absolutely be back again.
