Ryan was quite patient with me as he allowed me to test out the 3 different infotainment systems. After trying them all out, I choose one and was quoted at $923.74 and had to wait a week to get it installed since this is a popular place. The other place I consulted didn't even let me choose what infotainment system I wanted and quoted me at $100 higher than this place. They were able to install it in about 2 hours. The only real issue I've seen with it is that it has more glares than the original system that was in there.

After the install: I lost power to my 12V lighter socket, so I couldn't charge my phone. He mostly likely tapped into the same circuit as the lighter socket, causing power loss (Yeah. He didn't warn me about that before the install!) The audio was also making intermittent Bluetooth pairing failures. I would be driving and then music would stop and start again. Bluetooth phone calls stopped working--only music streamed. The install skipped key components I provided, including the fuse tap, LOC, and amp integration What I learned--and what others should know: The 3.5mm aux jack on the BTC-Five is audio-only and doesn't support calls To restore full functionality, the fuse tap must be moved to a different ACC slot so the lighter circuit isn't interrupted. For Bluetooth calls, you need to use the BTC-Five's RCA outputs and route them through a head unit or amp that supports hands-free calling. If I had known all this upfront, I probably would've skipped the install entirely and just kept using my regular USB-C to 3.5mm Audio Aux Cable Adapter. It was simpler, reliable, and didn't disable anything in my car. No wonder the guy had a weird vibe! I would have given them 5 stars if they had wired correctly, but the job was rushed and sloppy. He didn't create a solution. He created a problem! Now I'm going to have to get my brother to help me fix this. He said the tech most likely installed the tap with only one fuse (for the BTC-Five). Or inserted it backwards, cutting off power to the original circuit. Or used a single-slot tap, which reroutes power entirely to the new device. This experience taught me how to reclaim my install and turn shortcuts into teachable upgrades. If you're integrating amps or planning full audio control, skip the aux hack and wire it properly. I wasn't impressed with this install. What a total waste of money!!!!!!

The thing about life is that when you come across good people, embrace it. This is who Andy and Stanos are. Not just really good at working on your car but, serious about making sure you are happy with their profession work. I have always appreciated their honesty and concern for maintaining our vehicle. Not only do they help maintain our vehicle but, they also work on other family member's vehicles. If you are in search of a good mechanic, give them a try. For sure they would be most happy to help you your vehicle concerns. That kind of attention tells you a lot about how they treat the vehicles they work on. Ryan and Veronica were both fantastic throughout the entire process. Communication was straightforward, the pricing was extremely fair for the amount of work being done, and I never felt like they were trying to sell me something I didn't need. They genuinely seem to care about doing the job correctly and taking care of their customers. Finding a mechanic you can actually trust is difficult, especially when you're having major work done. Japanese Auto Pros has absolutely earned my trust. Not so strange until that's exactly what needed to be fixed on my car for thousands of dollars....... a car that's having directionality issues. I'm no mechanic, but I wasn't born yesterday and can type things into google. They claimed that the housings for my strut and shock assemblies were cracked and needed replacing. That's a very specific claim. Anyways I took it to National Automotive down the road and actually got taken care of. It was the sway link bar. No issues with the housing of the strut or shock assemblies. The car drives like a dream now, no thanks to Japanese Auto Pros. Saved a few thousand dollars by not taking their word at face value. The funny thing is I might have trusted them if they treated me with more respect. One of their workers (presumably a manager) told me they don't have time to call my warranty company for me and started playing the world's smallest violin for completely avoidable staffing issues. So as the customer I had to deal with that all myself (whatever, but it's not standard). Long story short, y'all are weird. Also, lose my number and stop spam texting me please.
