I would not hire this company again if I could do it all over again. I spent almost 30 thousand dollars on a brand new front yard and the customer service has been slim to none when the products they installed have gone wrong, which has happen over and over. I am now searching for other companies to fix thier mistakes. The owner "Dave" is a piece of work and should be ashamed of himself and or retire. He is very unpleasant as a business owner. I would suggest NOT hiring this company. The workers were pleasant at times, but even they have gone into the dark. To bad... My wife and I had them help with our backyard. They turned our rudimentary drawing into a work of art idea. The first day Dave came over, he walked around the yard, made some marks and understood everything we were asking for. It took 2 days to decide payment options. I spoke with David on 9/24/2020 and he told me that they "only go after new builds" which is contrary to the jobs advertised on their website and in their portfolio. They have "50 guys" to take care of so they need to be able to pay everyone, I guess? That's fine, but as a consumer, that means they only care about how much profit they could get from a customer. The job must be "big" or they "don't make money". Okay. Thanks for being honest. If that is all you want, then why did you make an appointment for 9/29/2020 at 11:30 a.m. and not show up? No call, no show. Should I have been surprised? I would have loved to see something done to my property some of the stuff you shown your website, but really, you only "go after new builds" and only if you take the entire project and "do all of it". I noticed how your ears perked up when we talked about concrete. We have a big enough job for landscaping for front and back yards and a second story, but you have removed yourself from our list of potential providers. My experience makes me wonder about the higher reviews on Yelp. I cannot recommend. read more

We just moved into a new build in March 2019. Wanted to incorporate artificial grass and a patio. We looked around the neighborhood hoping to find something close to what we were looking for. Saw 4 or 5 projects going on at once. One was Bill and Dave's Landscape. We watched this particular project from start to finish and was by FAR the quickest and best looking near us. Dave returned my call next day, came out to work with us on a preliminary design and gave us a quote. We made a few changes and set a date. He called to see if we wanted to start 3 days early! We had the demo, cement layout and poured within 3 days. With the exception of the AG (tariffs) everything was done in perfect time. Once the grass was installed...OMGosh! Beautiful! I did my project in two phases, 1st the concrete work then the landscaping. His team completed my project last week, now I'm enjoying my dream yard, thanks to all their hard work. I had my backyard done in June of 2017. After getting three different quotes from other companies, I called Bill and Dave's. They were well below ($10k+) any of the other companies I contacted. They began and finished within the time line provided. Very professional, and the quality of work was great. Overpriced and very unprofessional. The owner came to my house in flip flops and a tank top to give my quote. Didn't care much for what I wanted in my back yard, only seemed interested in his ideas. Halfway through the consult he gets a call and starts walking to his truck, gets in, rolls the window down and tells me he will give me a call later, he has another quote to attend. Just because you are young and own a house does not mean you can treat people like that. read more

Bill & Dave's is everything I hoped for. We got everything we wanted in our backyard for a great price. About 9 months ago we were going to work with another company when we initially bought our house, and they wanted a ridiculous amount of money to do our small backyard. Bill & Dave though, they were really well priced, easy to work with, the crew was incredible. Alex, the foreman I think, was a pleasure to work with, and any questions we had, curious or otherwise, the workers were more then happy to explain what was going on and how things worked, which was great. David is a really nice guy, he talks fast, but the more you ask questions, he slows down a bit to make sure you understand. Alex, as well, he was very good at explaining everything and really helpful. Nicole, in their office, is such a delight to speak with, she is clear, sweet and incredibly knowledgeable. If you are unsure on what you want specifically, David and Alex both had amazing suggestions that really helped the aesthetic of our backyard come together. I normally don't do reviews, BUT in the case of Bill @ Dave's, WOW!! what an awesome family business, we did two phases with Dave and his two sons, I have to tell you, the most professional and honest people I have come across in many years, their handshake is their contract, "and they do what they say they are going to do" ( are you kidding me in this day in age honest contractors are hard to find). Dave quoted us the best rates of all the contractors we reviewed, the quality of work we received was beyond the rate we where quoted both for our back and front yard, they worked with us and suggested ideas that I would have never thought of and their vision is why we are so happy with our yard. we will have many "Stay vacations". It's been three months since we did our landscaping and Dave and his sons still stay in touch and review our plants and watering times... We had Dave come over for a landscaping estimate today for our backyard. He talked over me multiple times when I tried to tell him what he wanted for our backyard. I found this very rude and it made me uncomfortable. I was taken by surprise we he brought up politics and religion. I immediately told him I did not have the same views as him, hoping he would stop. But, he did not. He went on and on about how Trump has done so much when I told him I did not agree. He then went on to talk about religion. When I told him I respect religion but do not follow it, he repeatedly told me that "god loves me". He then went on to talk about trump protecting "the unborn". Once again I told him I didn't agree and believe every woman has a right to their own body. I understand everyone has their personal beliefs, but they should not be discussed in business, especially when the customer is very uncomfortable and tried to stop the conversation multiple times. I wish we could've worked with this company, but we are choosing to not work with them. I am very disappointed and have never encountered a situation where I was made uncomfortable by someone who was meant to be representing a company. read more
