Unseemly pricing practices at Bill Deluca! Beware the false internet price. Was shopping for a 2017 GMC Canyon (note previous model year as 2018's are now out). First off, Joanne takes the prize for most inept salesperson ever. Didn't know ANYTHING about the vehicle, or what was on the lot, barely spoke and insinuated more than once that the dealership was disorganized. Didn't try to show me a Sierra even though I mentioned that I was interested in that as well. After a fruitless walk around the entire lot, I was interested in discussing price. Fruitless as well. The "INTERNET PRICE" has NOTHING to do with an advertised internet special. To get that price I needed to meet a host of criteria including I had to be a veteran (which I am), know a teacher, have a current lease, be part of a GM loyalty program and maybe 1 or 2 other things. Otherwise she said the price was MSRP (for a previous model year no less!!) and didn't offer to negotiate. I said bye, she said bye and I left. I purchased my car there and have been for inspection stickers and oil changes with no problems. This week I went to have my car checked for a problem with the air conditioning. After $130 diagnostic charge I was told that I needed a new compressor and that it would be in the $1,000 range. I don't have that kind of money so I left. I went to a local garage where I have done business for many years and treated well. I was told it was possible that there may be a TINY leak but the unit could be recharged and probably last at least the rest of the summer. After the reasonable cost to recharge I have been enjoying cold air ever since. I feel so disappointed I am planning not to go to DeLuca's ever again. How sad is it to try to take advantage of a senior citizen woman or actually anyone for that matter. read more

Was promised (2) free oil changes with the purchase of a brand new Buick Regal, off the lot. Yes it is on my sales agreement. Took just under a year to get the second one scheduled (on there part, i can only call or drop by multiple times a month before im forced to go elsewhere) then was told my second oil change was void because i have driven over 24000 mi. Frankly its an oil change and I spent 24000$ on the car, give me my 60$ oil change and let me be on my way. Between oil, labor, and filter it probably costs about 25$. I recently bought a new Acadia and absolutely love it. When negotiating my deal, I was accidentally quoted the wrong price on my vehicle. On the day of pick up, the finance department realized the error and informed me my payment would be much, much higher than what I expected. Bill Deluca personally handled the transaction and stood by his word, ensuring I got the car I wanted for the price I was promised. Called Saturday for an appointment first thing Monday morning to look at a vehicle that they listed was available. Arrived there to be told the car was sold with no phone call or email. For the first time in the past 2-3 years I wasn't able to bring my car in for an oil change and tire rotation. I had asked my wife if she would be able to bring the car and provided her with the pre paid voucher which I had purchased when I purchased the car. I went onto my App and booked the appointment same as i've done so many times before. I had used these prepaid vouchers without any questions previously over the past 2-3 years at the Bill Deluca Chevy dealership in Haverhill, Ma. This time however, was a very different experience when my wife arrived at the dealership she was greeted by Bob the service advisor who initially told her she didn't have an appointment and when she said I will pull up the confirming email he said "I will pull up your history" and totally ignored her. Once she showed him the email he changed his tune however, when she presented him with the pre paid voucher that I had used many times previously he sated, "We don't take those" she stated that her husband uses them ever time he comes here and he then yelled across the hall to the Manager who didn't even have the decency to come out and speak with her he yelled "We don't take those anymore because they take too long to pay us" This entire interaction was not very professional and quite frankly had everything to do with her being a woman. read more

My daughter and I went to look at a couple of vehicles we saw on their website, Larry could not find a plate to test drive one of them. The second one they did not want us to take it out because they just washed it. We might of bought a new vehicle today if some one knew what they were doing. Love the service department here- they were super friendly, accommodating and just made the whole service process easy. I love that you can make appointments online. The service manager will actually return your emails - a great way to correspond- instead of having to take time out of your busy work day to make phone calls. I called 3x on a saturday for a service appointment and they only had 1 service agent on and of course he was swamped each time i called and was asked to call back, which I did. Brought my car in with a small leak. On lower transmission coolant line and decided on transmission flush to be performed at the same time. The vehicle had the radiator changed recently and the leak was coming from the fitting at the radiator. Prior to that there was no evidence of leak at any time. The vehicle was serviced and released back to me. I noticed the vehicle leaking transmission fluid again coming from the same location and spotting whenever i stopped for a short period of time. I brought the vehicle back to have the leaking problem corrected and now i'm told that two lines needed to be replaced. I have lots of experience working on cars and knew where the leak was coming from. I also had another repair shop verify before i brought it in for service. Not satisfied with service here. I paid 382 dollars for the flush and fitting and now I'm told that i have more problems than i had before it was serviced. Terrible experience!!!! I'll fix it myself Update!!! I repaired the leak on labor day myself. It was exactly where i had indicated to the service manager and it cost me a grand total of 98 cents and 1/2 an hour of my time. Dealership's service manager reply was the lines were rusted and it would require the lines be changed. Not true!!! It seems technician didn't make an attempt to fix. What i did in 1/2 an hour without a lift they could not complete in 4 hrs. Not recommended for any type of repair....... read more

Seems that they post false internet pricing in order to get you in the door. I went in to look at a particular car that I saw advertised on the internet at a great price. When I went in I was told it was an error. This was early January and the "pricing error" is still listed as the sale price. read more

Writing an update because my feelings about this dealership changed radically in August when we were trying to return our leased car. Granted it was an early return, but I'd cleared it with GM who mistakenly told me (several times!) that a leased car could be returned to any GM dealer. Not so! We had to return it to original dealership. There was a very nice lady at the "front" desk, who tried for at least an hour to help us, but everyone else was being, I felt, obstructive and borderline rude because we were not getting another GM vehicle this time. They did not want to do ANY of the things that needed to be done when you turn in a lease and although there were only two customers, kept telling us they were too busy to do any of the required paperwork and to just leave the car and they'd get to it later. NO WAY was I leaving that car there without getting a receipt, odometer statement and having them cancel the plates. I categorically refused to leave without these necessary items but they did it with a poor attitude and left us feeling like second class citizens not worthy of their time. This was in August and I have been getting a steady stream of calls, the last today, telling me that my lease is ending and to please call them about turning it in and getting a new car! Clearly no one updated their database. I don't know if we'll get another GM vehicle in the future, but if we do it certainly won't be from this dealership. The whole experience was so radically different from the two other times we did business with them, that I wonder what was really going on. If it was because we weren't getting a new GM car, that is just not right. My Dad may have loved them, but even he would have been put off by what happened. read more

i have brought my pontiac there for 6 years. Brett in automotive service is THE BEST mechanic ever! He will do a quick fix when he can and the charges are not a lot most times. He explains things to you, takes his time in listening and answering questions and has even diagnosed me over the phone! My father has purchased a number of cars here and has sung their praises time and time again. He is 80 years old (doesn't use a computer, which is why I am compelled to review) and has been a customer there for at least a dozen years, driving from Arlington for both sales and service. My Dad is a pretty tough cookie when it comes to exceptional service, and Deluca tops the charts for him. I work as an F&I manager at a Chevrolet store in California, so I am familiar with what can be a very trying process. I am well aware of what is considered a "fair deal". Deluca has treated my Dad fairly, in both my professional and personal opinion. They have also been very kind to him on his visits. I appreciate the attention they give to my dad, since I am his #1 fan, and for this I give 5 stars for taking such exemplary care of all of his automotive needs. All around very rude service when I went in. Made an appointment for an oil change after 6000, never could get a confirmation on the appointment. And apparently they won't honor the warranty for oil unless the monitor is under 10%? This is the first dealer I've dealt with that was so rude about honoring a warranty. Buyer beware. Very disappointed in our experience here. Wasted hours of my husband's time with a promised deal by both management and ownership via email. After leaving work early to spend 3 hours there getting the runaround from the salesperson and manager they signed a P&S and my husband left a $500 deposit. Then today they call and completely retract the whole deal saying they "made a mistake". Lie after lie about what happened, he said, she said, passing the buck BS. In exchange for our wasted time he was offered a $100 gift card to their service dept. Like we'd ever want to do business with a shady, lying, misleading dealership ever again. This past Wednesday I was in Rockport, ME, as I deliver medicine for a living, and my front end started clunking. I called Brett in Chevy Service and said I was coming in. My car limped into the garage at 1:30 pm and it being the day before a major snow storm, they were swamped, but said they would do their best. I got a ride home through their shuttle service and an hour later got the call telling me that it was both front wheel bearings ...ouch, and that they only had 1 in stock, again saying that they would do their best, but had to send someone up to Salisbury to get the other one. At 4:15 Brett called to say they would have me back on the road by 5:00 pm. I couldn't have been more happy. Don and his crew, always accomodate me knowing that I need to be on the road the next day for work. I've driven 250,000 miles in the past 2 years and need to rely on a well maintained vehicle. Deluca Chevrtolet gives me that peace of mind. So my hat's off to Don, Brett and even Ashley who was very pleasant on the phone and connected me directly to Brett when I needed emergency service. I have bought a lot of brand new cars in my lifetime and that experience always creates anxiety for me. When I decided to get a new car this year I looked at a lot of ads online before deciding on a particular car or dealership. So picking this one was truly because they had a vehicle at a great price and standard transmission. That being said I never regretted that decision after talking with my salesperson Joe. Great guy.Regardless of the fact that I wasn't buying an expensive car they treated me very well. Car was ready to be picked when they said. It's only a Chevy Spark but I love it. The first oil change was done here. As usual for me I didn't plan it or make an appointment. I brought it by the dealership after making a call to them in route. They pleasantly said "bring it in" "you might have to wait a little though" They actually took it right away. They use the vin number I guess to process the paperwork. I just parked it in the bay with keys in it. Receptionist didn't need any info. Told me where the coffee and lounge was. I hopped on the wifi and surfed the Internet. The purchase and oil change where the only two interactions I have had there but they were both truly painless and in fact pleasant experiences. I was totally prepared to buy my wife a car there as well but she had her heart set on a brand they don't sell. read more

My Husband and I wanted my daughter to have a newer car and we saw a used Malibu online for about $13,500. We were putting down $5000 in cash so the loan amount should have been around $9500.00 with tax and registration. My daughter went in alone to pick up the car and the finfnce guy, Alan Collarusso played a game with payments on my daughter. He got her to pay more money by stretching out her loan and charged her an additional $3900.00 bringing her financed amount back up to $13000.00 More importantly we never received a copy of the bank loan until after she had the car a week. I feel Mr Collarusso took advantage of my 19 year old daughter. When we tried to have the extra stuff he slipped into her bank contract removed but he ignored my calls. When My daugher and I came in too see him , he wasnt' available. After two weeks and no help we are working to have the loan redone at our credit union. If I could give them a half star rating, I would. I drove to their Buick dealership to discuss one of seven new cars on their lot and was quickly informed that the pricing that I referenced was "internet pricing" and I would have to see if I would qualify for all of the rebates to obtain that pricing. After a number of questions, I was "offered" a price that was 10% over the internet price which is not what brought me in. Let's just say that I won't be going back any time soon. Good luck, fellas. I went to purchase a car and struck a deal with the sales manager. I left to get a certified check and when I got back he reneged and said they couldn't offer the deal any longer. i test drove a car at this dealership a few weeks ago. i told right off the bat that i was only there to look and drive a new vehicle. i gave them my license so i could prove i was legal to drive. when we got back to the dealership i filled out some personal information. i did not agree to buy the car, as i said i was still looking, i certainly did not agree to have this dealership run a financial / credit history,! i'm sure this affects my credit score ? they also gave out my personal information to a former employee, namely my cell phone number,! i have tried several times to contact this dealer to no avail! i am shocked but not surprised that a "car dealer" would be so sneaky! i will never do business at xbill delucas of haverhill massachusetts ..... i feel like i would rather drive my old car until it dies rather than deal with car salemen, it seems they all lie! read more

Awful customer service. We leased a vehicle from them and wanted to buy it at the end of the lease term. We set up several appointments only to waste our time. After 4 months of persistence on our end, we finally met the right person to make the purchase. It only took me two trips to the dealership after that to get the plates and registration. Normally, you would expect a call when the dealer has the plates ready. Not at this place. No calls or help. It felt like the only way to get something done was to drive to the dealership and get in front of them. Absolutely no appreciation for my time. The place is mismanaged. read more
