I purchased a used vehicle from this dealership (not their primary brand) and made a point to ask that the rims be repaired and the brakes be checked and replaced if needed. They did fix the rims, but I was told the brakes were fine. Just two months later, I had a courtesy inspection done at another dealership and was told the brakes were already worn out and should have been replaced before the vehicle was sold. This wasn't normal wear--it was clear they were in poor condition at the time of purchase. I brought my findings back to said dealership, and they refused to take any responsibility, stating that it had been two months since the sale. That response is unacceptable, especially since I specifically asked about the brakes beforehand and relied on their assessment. This raises serious concerns about their inspection process and overall transparency. I would not recommend this dealership based on my experience. read more

I had my 2019 Mini Countryman there in Nov 2024 for tire mount, oil change and wiper issue. It took a while then the writer came out and said that my oil drain plug was loose and wet with oil and that they would not touch it. They said I would need a new pan and that it would cost$1,600! Then I had a wiper issue which need a new wiper motor, ok, for another $1,600(OEM wiper motor is $600 plus install) So I declined both and just did the tires and left. 2 months later I took it to the dealership I was recently employed at, and they said it was just a squished washer and $79 later was perfectly fine! Hmmmm not good. Maybe a 2nd opinion is worth it! read more

There's a reason they have horrible reviews. I had to download yelp because I have never wrote a review in my life but I have never had an interaction like I just did with employees before. My sister asked me to get her a part for her mini cooper. You can feel the bad atmosphere and unwelcoming the second you walk in. When you walk in there is two men sitting there looking at you like you just walked in from outer space. I tried telling one of the guys what I was looking for and he told me he didn't know what I was saying. I told him I was looking for a front brake sensor and he told well that's in parts. I walk into get to part and the guy with the beard there asks me what I need and I tell him. He tells me he needs the vin. My sister called them last week and has purchased from them before. I asked if he can look her up in the system and he's writing her name down. I can see he's writing it wrong. He comes back seconds later and tells me she's not in the system, EVEN though she's bought from them before. i call her and shes just saying she called them last week. hes like i need the vin with a tone and giving me a face. so i walked away and told my sister on the phone that this is the rudest fucking place. is this how they treat paying costumers? i guess they don't want business. my mom also has a mini cooper and i told them both, to NEVER purchase parts from them! I then found the perfect 2017 Subaru Legacy with just over 35k in miles, and in like new condition. I called and spoke to Mike Rindo and asked if they could take anything off the price, even $500 to help me with the other taxes and delivery fees. He said, my manager comes in at noon and I will see what I can do. He called me at 12:30 and said, yes we can take the $500 off for you! Working with sales was a disaster. I called them requesting a car they had to ship in to sell me which they did. The sales person went on vacation and told me to deal with financing to hold it or make a deposit ( site unseen mind you-no test drive - nothing) So I utilized their online financing and they pulled my credit. When he returned (Thanksgiving weekend) he gave me a 3 hour slot to get there. My husband was running late so when I called at 11:45 and said I would be there at 1 instead of 12pm, he told me someone else was there and he sold it to them! Told me management said to. Had they not pulled my credit (which affected my score going forward) I would not have cared, but to tried to lock me into purchasing with them and sold the car I requested to be brought in out from under me, they took my confidence away in their business practices. Very shady and underhanded. Customers do not come first there. read more

My wife went into Mini of Bedford the other to test drive a pre-owned car. They were asking about $2000 over the Edmunds value for a car in pristine condition. The car WAS in very good condition. After going back and forth with the salesman and his manager my wife was informed that they wouldn't even discount the car $500. Okay, no problem but we weren't about to overspend for a car. My wife, was smart enough to walk away. A day or two later my wife gets a text from the salesman snidely telling her that the car sold for what they were asking. Not a text saying "hey, we sold the car you were looking at but if you see another one you're interested in coke on in to see if we can help you". It was specifically sent to thumb their nose at a potential customer. We were just that, a potential customer. Now we are no longer interested in doing ANY business with Mini of Bedford due to their lack of respect and complete inability to control their urge to keep their "told you so" attitude in check. You lost a sale from people that had cash in hand to buy a car outright with little to no effort. Congrats and pound sand. We'll be shopping elsewhere. read more

I bought my mini in 2011 and recently replaced it with another car. Through the years, I have had extremely upsetting interactions with Mini of Bedford. I refuse to do business with them. Here are some of my highlights - this is NOT AN EXHAUSTED LIST: 1. When I had racks installed on my mini, it generated a lot of wind noises. When I contacted their service department about it and what I should do, their solution was to "increase the volume of the radio." This was extremely unprofessional. Friends suggested installing a Thule wind deflector - which would have been a better suggestion. 2. After 2 years, my car started swerving and jumping while on the highway. I went to the service department - as part of my regular maintenance - with this concern. They told me my car was fine. I got a second opinion from another mechanic. They informed me that my rims were severely bent and my car was "unfit to drive." Upset that the Mini service department gave my car the okay, I contacted them. Their response was "well, what do you want me to do about it. Looks like you resolved the issue anyways." After this, I started seeing the other mechanic even though I had another free oil change and checkup. 3. In 2016, I had an engine issue. My trusted mechanic informed me that this problem was part of a recall. They gave me all the recall information and swore up and down that Mini should fix it for free. In the process of fighting with Mini of Bedford, my check engine light went from yellow to red (critical failure). Mini of Bedford swore up and down that the problem was not part of the recall. I was in a bind as my first niece was born THAT DAY. And my mechanic couldn't service my car until later that week. So I had Mini of Bedford service my car - because I needed a loaner THAT DAY. When I received the details of what was done to the car, not only was it different from the work they claim would be done, it was identical to the description described in the recall. My usual mechanic also agreed with me. They did get me out of a bind (which is the only reason why this review is a 2 star and not a 1 star) and the car was repaired, however, I personally believe they charged me for work that should have been covered under the recall. 4. While this is a complaint about my car and not of Mini of Bedford, after 5 years the car turned into a money pit. Fun to drive but prone to failures. read more

Excellent Service. I had an issue with a key not being recognized by the car and car wouldn't start. I thought it was an issue with the car so I called and spoke with service writer Ed. I had an aftermarket warranty on the car, he said if need be, he could work with that warranty company. I had AAA drop my car off at 10 am. Ed called at 1030 to verify some information. They had a solution before 2 pm. They ordered the key yesterday, and I was able to pick up my car today at noon. And it was washed when I got there! A + Service If you have a problem with you're mini, just take it here. Don't bother taking it anywhere else. I work at a new car dealership, and had expectations, and I must say, they were more than exceeded. Arrived there and had to ring an odd childish door bell where a voice from behind the wall says "I'll be there as soon as I can". Shortly after that I had made my request that I needed a key ordered for my Cooper. The man continued to stare at me as I explained my needs. I had a stack of paperwork which included a bill of sale, a title application and the documents from the State of NH proving car was mine. When I handed him the stack of paperwork to review, we did not even pick it up to review, he again just starred at me as if he had no idea where he was. He finally said he couldn't help me. I asked if he was going to review my paperwork and he stated, " I am the one who needs to order it for you, and you don't have what I need." Again I asked him if he was going to look at what I had or what I had additionally needed and he said no. I then asked him his name and he said James. I then went to the the manager on the other side of the wall who again made no effort to assist me. What a bunch of lazy and ignorant staff. read more

Beware when leasing a vehicle here. I originally leased my mini in 2012. I am still paying for it and will be until 9/2021. That's a whole lot of interest they are making off me. This dealership is nothing short of amazing. Case in point, I was in downtown Manchester yesterday with my father's 2003 mini Cooper S when the oil light came on. This was about 3:45 in the afternoon. I checked the oil and it seemed low so I put a quart of oil in the car and drove it down to the dealership. I walked in without an appointment and I was taken care of right away. Jeff was my service writer and he was very professional and very eager to help me. My car got right into the shop and the technician Gregg Crean who worked on it was able to pinpoint the issue very quickly and even invited me into the shop to show me exactly what was going on. The oil pressure switch was leaking very badly And needed to be replaced. As it turned out they did not have one in stock and it would have to wait until tomorrow. Expecting the worst I was told that they had a loaner car that they could give me for the night (I live in Boston). Mind you I had no appointment booked and walked right in off the street. I usually have this vehicle serviced at the dealership down in Peabody and have always been amazed with how professional and accommodating they are. OK.... so last September I my experience at this dealership was not great - I was totally ignored (see previous review). I ended up buying a Ford Explorer. However.... I still wanted a MINI. A friend bought one here and raved about the service, which I had questioned due to my previous experience. I went to Herb Chambers in Boston to look at cars, but this friend convinced me to speak to his salesperson, Cliff. I must say, my experience with everyone here has been as good as it gets - anywhere - not to mention a car dealership, which, from my experiences in the past, is usually NOT terribly impressive. Everyone I've dealt with here from Cliff to Jeffrey Burnham (finance guy) to the parts guy... service... everybody. Super friendly, super helpful... I can't say enough positives about everyone at this company. So far the few small issues I've had were taken care of pronto... my car washed every time, and always done with a smile. Everyone here REALLY seems to enjoy their job, and selling their product (I kind of understand why too... they're FUN cars!) , but I would happily recommend that ANYONE pay these folks a visit if you're thinking of buying a car. You'll be rewarded with what I would say is a most pleasant experience - not something normally associated with buy cars, for sure! read more

I am overall very dissatisfied with the service I have received in the last few months. I had brought my car to you guys in April due to the faulty AUX port, which was not working that at the time of purchase. (My mini was not purchased from you guys) When you did the oil change, you noticed that my water pump was leaking and needed to be replaced. Fortunately, that repair was covered under my warranty so we went ahead with the repairs. It was determined later that day that my car would not be ready to go. The water pump repair was not complete and there was further investigation to be done on the AUX port. I was given a rental and went home. I was told my car would be ready in a few days and I made plans to pick up my car. Mind you, I live 2.5 hours away. I called multiple times throughout the day and was assured my car would be ready by the end of the day. I left to pick up my car and by the time I was in Concord, a mere 20 minutes away from the dealership, and I received a call saying my car was not done. So I had to turn around and drive all the way back home. I called to complain the following day, and I spoke with Ed. We arranged to have a driver deliver my car back to me. I'm quite forgiving of a small hiccup. I was told my water pump was fixed, but due to some electrical issues in my radio, my AUX port was not working. So, we ordered a new radio. You guys put the radio repair on the warranty claim for my water pump and I waited about a month for the new radio to arrive. Once it came in, I again drove the 2.5 hours down to have it repaired. I picked my car up just shortly after the service department had left. I got in my car to find that yes, my radio was fixed, but my AUX port still was not working. I called the next day to hear you had no idea it was not working. This leads me to believe that no one even checked to see if it was working before my car was returned to me. Perhaps the real reason why my radio was being replaced was forgotten? Because I was un-bothered by the alien writing on the display of my radio. I was then told we would just order another radio and that it would take a week or so to come in, and we'd try that. Reluctantly, I made the trip for a 3rd time to get the radio placed again. Come to find out, after a second radio replacement, the wrong part was being replaced. With that being said, I was then expected to pay the warranty deductible AGAIN when you guys were replacing the wrong part in the first place because you "fixed my radio" which I had never requested to be fixed. After this, I called the general manager, Gary, to voice my dissatisfaction with the events that had transpired. Gary assured me I would not have to pay for my deductible. So, I brought my car down for a FOURTH time to get the AUX port fixed. Upon picking up my car, I was expecting a small bill of about $130 or so for an oil change and air filter. I was very surprised to see my bill total was $224 and some change. When I asked, I was told it was just the oil change and air filter. I left and it sat in the back of my mind about how expensive the whole ordeal was. Upon calling back to question the large charge, I was told I was charged for my warranty deductible that I was not supposed to be charged for. While the extra $100 was refunded to my card, I am still VERY unhappy. This was an additional 1,000 miles on my car, a lot of money in gas, and about 20 hours spent in driving. I do not foresee bringing my vehicle here in the future for any necessary repairs. read more

I walked in last week and was immediately greeted by Miguel and over the course of the past four days have had the best experience I've ever had at a dealership. Not only did Miguel find a car that fit my budget, he was able to do so in an efficient, and professional manner that made the leasing process a piece of cake. Since I am from MA and bought the car in NH, I had some serious work to do with the RMV and insurance but Miguel was only a phone call or text away to help me with anything. I felt like I was interacting with a friend whom had my best interests in mind as opposed to a car salesman. Went to test drive a new Countryman and had an exceptional experience. I worked with Van and he made me feel comfortable not only on the test drive but when going over the numbers. I didn't feel an ounce of pressure to pursue MINI while I was there. When they are getting your car ready they have a customer cafe with coffee and soft drinks as well as a bunch of MINI gear you can browse/purchase while you wait.
