Just wanted to note that PSI no longer issues licenses. It is now done through the Board of Registration. I learned this the hard way, as PSI took payment from me, when they were actually supposed to give the test results to the Board, upon which they ask you to pay, upload your own picture and print the license (laminated it too). This took about 3 weeks and many phone calls to straighten out. I still need to be reimbursed by PSI as essentially I have paid 2X for my license. Just thought I would share this for other MA residence who are taking the Real Estate Sales Person Exam.

I personally did the in-classroom education on the weekends (8 hours on Saturday and Sunday for two weekends in a row). While it is a lot, I knew that it provided me the focus to concentrate which I knew that I would struggle with keeping focus for that long on-line throughout the week after a long day at work. It really depends on what you think will work for you but thankfully the program offers a lot of different options to fit your needs. Their website learning path also has practice exams, plenty of quizzes, and videos to help you practice in between boot camp sessions prior to actually taking the exam. I mean, you'll be armed with the fundamental knowledge and skills to serve booze. Mostly to patrons who couldn't tell you (and probably don't care about) the difference between a daiquiri and a mai tai. 2. You're looking for a fun social activity to do. This could be with a significant other as a date, or with a group of friends that are interested in expanding their drink knowledge beyond Bud Light and Irish Car Bombs. Plus, you get the added bonus of becoming TIPS certified in case you decide to pursue a profession in bartending. The morning TIPS course is, by nature, somewhat dry and technical. Our instructor did a fine job with offering enough participant engagement and real-world anecdotes to spice things up. There's really only so much you can do to make a video-led instruction fun. For the "mixology" portion of the day, you'll actually get some hands-on application with speed pours and you'll experience what it's like to get behind a bar. You'll learn some information (or misinformation, in some cases) about alcohol products and their history. And finally, you'll get to practice slinging a number of classic cocktails. And by "classic cocktails" I mean "colored water mixtures at the same proportions that classic cocktails would be." That's right, folks. For us, picking an agent to work with was hard because there isn't a lot of info out there. So you just don't know if the person you pick is the right one for the job.
