Frustrated initially but ultimately satisfied. I ordered tires on Monday and scheduled them for installation for Friday and asked about the $200 rebate that was posted on the service desk. The flyer stated "Instant Credit" for those who qualify. My credit rating is very good so I told them I wanted to apply for the credit card to take advantage of the rebate and was told that I could do that when I was ready to pay for the tires on Friday. I arrived at 8:45 am for a 9 am appointment and had a seat in the waiting area (which is very nice, free coffee and pastries) and was waiting about 30 minutes when the service coordinator came in and told me that the tires had not been ordered but they could obtain them from Rochester if I would wait for 2 hours for the tires to arrive and then wait another hour for the installation. I told her no I would reschedule. She came back about 20 minutes later and said that she did have the tires, that they had not been entered as "received" so that was why she thought they had not been shipped. They had already started putting the old tires back on the Acadia when they realized the tires were available and she said they would get right on putting the new tires on. When it came time to pay I told them I wanted to use the "Instant Credit" ( the flyer also stated, "ask you service professional"). She stated that she did not know anything about the application process and that I should already have the card. I told her that I had expressed my intentions to pay for the tires using the "Instant Credit" from the time I came in to order the tires on Monday and was told I could set it up when it came time to pay. I told her that if I could not use the rebate they could take the tires off and put my old tires back on and I would go elsewhere. Eventually she was able to provide me with a phone number for the credit card company and after calling them and signing up on-line everything worked out. They did price match the cost of the tries (Costco's price was about $35 less per tire) but it was not a pleasant morning. I like the past service I have received at Bill Rapp and I will go back, although I'm not sure they will want to see me again. read more

We recently had the pleasure of purchasing our second car from Bill Rapp Subaru. From beginning to end, our experience with Jason Orendorf, our sales representative, and other staff members at the dealership was very positive. We drove two hours to get to Bill Rapp Subaru, and needed to bring our two young children with us. The dealership has a fantastic kids' play area, equipped with a mini foot-powered AWD vehicle, puzzles, an easel, coloring materials, etc. This was an absolute lifesaver. Jason was even willing to let us sign all the documentation at a table right next to the play area to make sure that our kids were able to have an enjoyable time. We got an online e-price before arriving at the dealership, which meant we had a no-stress/no-haggle arrival at a sales price. This made the buying experience much more enjoyable, and took the traditional potential for unpleasantness with haggling completely out of the picture. We were initially going to go with USAA for our car loan, but were pleasantly surprised to find that due to our credit scores we were able to get an interest rate of 2% less than what we would have gotten with USAA through the dealership. Needless to say, my husband and I went with dealership financing, something that we have never done before. All in all, our experience with Bill Rapp Subaru was once again fantastic. Each staff member we interacted with seemed keen on making sure our needs were met, and while waiting for financing to go through, a high level manager checked in with us and our children to make sure we had what we needed. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE! Went here to purchase a car and the sales person was very pushy but I held my ground and left and he proceeded to call me for several days leaving very stern messages. However I ended up purchasing my car elsewhere and unfortunately had to bring it to them for service as they are the closest gmc service shop for warranty work. They never diagnosed the issue with my car correctly and so problems continue and the mgr Don refuses to admit it and refuses to even look at it now that the warranty has run out unless of course I shovel out money to pay for the diagnosis that should have been completed when I had it in there 2-3 times before for same issue...he actually was very short with me and didn't seem to care at all....maybe it's because I'm not the only GMC owner with battery issues and after researching it so many other people have had similar issues with their Acadia's as well but they have been a shady place since the beginning so why would they actually take care of their customers. read more

My husband and I stopped into Bill Rapp Super Store one snowy evening after I looked into what dealership had the best reviews. I had also reviewed Subaru SUVs high ratings in the Consumer Report Guide. We had the pleasure of meeting Turgut Ercan and Sales Manager Ulas Uysal. We felt welcomed and they answered any questions we had about the Subaru Crosstrek Limited. It was important for me to have a CD player as I own so many CDs, so we test drove a 2019. Turgut demonstrated the many safety features down a steep neighborhood hill and in deeper snow - the SUV handled it all with ease. We also reviewed the updated technology which was impressive as well - it will surely make driving easier and fun! It didn't take long for me to make my decision. We had a very positive experience buying a new forester from Bill Rapp Subaru. The purchasing process was very straight-forward and the pricing was the best in the area without having to do the back and forth. We talked mostly with Chelsea from internet sales, and sales rep Brian M. Both we're very knowledgeable and easy to work with. Most of our email correspondence was with Chelsea and she was very timely in responding to our emails and getting us the information we needed. Brian also was very attentively and found us the car that met our wants and needs and got us on the road with it soon after it arrived on the lot. Overall, the car buying process with Bill Rapp Subaru was much easier than the traditional car buying process at other dealerships. We currently don't use them for car servicing but given the positive experience we had with purchasing from them, we are going to give them a try the next time our new car needs service. read more

Carlos was amazing to work with. He took me through every step and I never felt pressured or unsure of what he explained to me. It was also a big plus when he showed me some of the basic workings of the car because nothing is worse than driving a new car and realizing you have no idea where the lights or wipers are or how to work them. Not to mention I would have been stumped about how to put gas in the car. He was very thoughtful of my circumstances and how I like to manage my finances and bills and worked with me on obtaining the car that fit my lifestyle. I recently took my car into Bill Rapp Subaru earlier than normal for routine maintenance because it was a year since I bought my Forester from them and needed to get it inspected. They do that for free if you bought your car there so I thought I'd save time and do both. Skylar, the service advisor was so helpful and went above and beyond. I felt good when he let me know I had only half of miles to rotate the tires, that saved me money. He also was kind enough to replace my passenger side tire caps himself when I mentioned they were stolen over the weekend while attending a city fair for a couple hours. Since I didn't have my tire rotation it was probably not noticed. He was efficient and professional and came out and checked the type of tire caps and replaced them with the appropriate type. Customer service like that makes me feel comfortable and trusting that I bought my car at Bill Rapp Subaru! read more

I cannot preach enough positivity about Bill Rapp. I have bought many vehicles in the past and have always felt the need to bring my spouse with me so I don't get ripped off. I've dealt with haggling for the best price, always receiving less than my trade in is worth, and always paying a higher monthly payment than I wanted. None of this was the case this time. I went in by myself and was treated better than I could have ever expected. I still can't believe the process was so easy. Yes, folks, it is as good as it can get! Today I took my 2016 Subaru Forester to Bill Rapp for my oil change. The folks at Bill Rapp went above and beyond to get my servicing done in the shortest amount of time. Let me tell you, there were already 4 people ahead of me but the technicians/mechanics still managed to get my oil change done in less than a half hour. I've never found anyone that could get me (my car) in and out in that amount of time!!! I love seeing all the "Friendly" people there, the coffee, donuts, tv, magazines and atmosphere in the waiting room are top notch. This has been such an enjoyable experience for me! I was reluctant to buy a Subaru a couple of years ago, but was originally so impressed that we've now got two. However... my latest experience has me very concerned and baffled. I needed a tire replaced because it had a nail in it and couldn't be repaired. It was highly recommended that all four tires be replaced because they were so worn. Really? I bought this car new and just crossed 43,000 miles. I run four snow tires on it 6 months out of the year (so...figure I must have about 21-23,000 miles on the original tires). Tires on Subarus only last that long? And I bought the tire protection/replacement plan when I bought the car... and was told how great that would be. It gave me a $40 discount. Very disappointing. My prior limited service experience with Subaru was very good. I hope the next visit is better, or I think I'll be shopping again. read more

We purchased a new 2020 Forester Touring Edition at the beginning of COVID. Julie showed us this vehicle and we immediately fell in love with the two tone leather seating and exterior color. Not to mention all the state of the art extras that were included. The Superstore Subaru building is only a few years old. My car was 'rammed' into the side by a very large buck. There was a lot of damage. Thankfully, Bill Rapp, where I purchased my car, was a certified collision shop with my insurance. I spoke with Craig and he explained everything to me. How long it would take, and exactly what the process would be. This collision team really works like a well oiled machine. They handled all paperwork between the insurance company and their dealership. I just had to show up with my deductible when I picked up my car. The car looks awesome! They contacted me every step of the way even when there was a delay in getting the parts. All in all it was a very seamless process. We took one of our cars in for Express Service since we noticed a slow leak in one of the tires and had pumped some air in, but knew it needed to be addressed ASAP. As we hadn't used Express Service before, I called in to regular service and spoke w/ a service representative we've dealt with for years and he gave me a time to come in to be certain we would be accommodated today. Arriving early, the car was taken in immediately via Express Service. It turns out the technician found a patchable leak in the center of the problem tire. The tech repaired, remounted & balanced the tire; the tech also filled all tires to proper inflation level. Getting in and out in under 45 minutes b/c the dealership accommodated us so promptly when we needed service! Snow is coming and we want to be prepared for it! read more

She is so informative and helpful and not to mention, kind. Julie goes above and beyond when it comes to her customers. When I picked my new ascent up, I noticed there was some grease on the passenger side headliner. Instead of saying how to clean it when I get home, Julie took it upon herself to go back inside get a cloth and clean it off herself! I have purchased = 8 or more cars from Bill Rapp Nissan and Subaru over the years. This week my wife and I went to the Subaru store as Subaru was offering 0 % financing for 63 months on a Legacy. My wife was thinking of trading her 2016 Outback in on a sedan - Audi, BMW, or a Legacy. The Legacy was by far the better value. The sales manager Ulas referred us to Jesse V. Jesse was knowledgeable, courteous, and not pushy/aggressive. We found a Legacy that my wife liked, and after some negotiating with Ulas, reached a very fair price on the deal. I have bought far too many cars over the years, and this was an enjoyable and pleasant experience. If you are looking for a new/used Subaru, I would highly recommend Bill Rapp. read more
