Shop up there for 20 years they will price match anything you bring in in the service department is awesome. Never had any problems getting anything fixed and fingers crossed hopefully I won't have any to get fixed. read more

Sold us several appliances at once. Was all accommodating to get the sale. THEN the worst follow up EVER. Terrible customer service. Had to fight with them to come install things correctly. installers gave no instructions. When things didn't work properly, had to call repeatedly to no avail. Still fighting. NEVER AGAIN. Wish I would have read the reviews before I bought. read more

if I could give them a negative 5 I would. tried to shop the website, it drags so bad I NEVER DID get any prices on dishwashers. Called the "store manager" at the Cape Coral FL location. COULD NOT GIVE A BLEEP LESS!! Told him about the site issues and told him I live maybe 2 miles away and I'm going to purchase a dishwasher TODAY. Couldn't care less if he had to. Guess where I AM NOT going to purchase a dishwasher from! And we drive by there. every. day. read more

Rude staff and sold items that they could not deliver in time! I would not recommend this business! They never notified us that part of our appliance package was not going to arrive on time for new construction and were rude and totally disrespectful when we ask status! read more

I purchased the total package for my Kitchen, micro wave, refrigerator, stove and dishwasher. They delivered each one separately and charged transportation charges of $79.95 each delivery. The refrigerator was delivered with a broken door and was sent back and the second time when it kept freezing everything in Refrigerator compartment. Then they sent out one that was not boxed and dirty on top and spill spots inside. They charged me $79.95 for delivery and took aa $200.00 discount off that they said was sent to my credit card. Then they they, the manager Phil said if didn't want them he would charge a 10% restock fee? This has been nothing but a nightmare.More threats than the service. Over 30 years ago my uncle bought from Bill Smith in Naples ,as I did, and said they are rotten crooks and never go to them,I did? We ordered LG Studio kitchen appliances and we knew the refrigerator and dishwasher were back ordered from the store and the manufacturer's website. A month later we received the range and refrigerator, but no date even projected for the dishwasher. We decided to get the Bosch with the front panel rather than wait. After a month we still had no ship date for that. We talked to our sales person and was told that model was discontinued and should have the replacement model in 2 weeks. Hubby smelled BS and called the manufacturer and they had NOT discontinued the model. We called Home Depot they had it in stock and could deliver it in 3 days. We asked for and received a refund and bought it elsewhere. I would not purchase anything in the future from them. If you check the BBB they are not credited and the reviews are pretty harsh. read more

Should have read the reviews first! Ordered a dishwasher over the phone, as I knew exactly what I wanted, and they had it in stock and could deliver in two days. I live five minutes from the store. I was told to expect a call on the morning of delivery giving me an exact time. No call- finally I called the store who had the delivery/installation person call me who said between 2-5. When I asked if it could be closer to 2, was told no- no sorry, no explanation, just no. Okay, so five pm, the skies are about to open and no delivery. I called the store and was told they were on their way; another 30 minutes and it's pouring rain and no delivery. I called and told them to keep it and went to Home Depot. Tried to support the local business and I understand someone has to get the last delivery of the day, but a little courtesy and clearer explanation would have gone a long way. read more

We would not recommend this business. Wish we had read the reviews before we spent so much money on appliances and please don't waste you money on a five year warranty as we did. If we could give a zero star for Bill Smith we would as the customer Service is non existent. read more

We gave Bill Smith a try in our search for new kitchen appliances. We were immediately approached by a salesman who was very condescending, basically trying to impress us with his knowledge of kitchen appliances. We left with a poor impression of Bill Smith because of high prices, mediocre choices at this location and poor customer service. read more

I've been told their service is terrible and now I found out for myself. I purchased 6 TVs from them that are under warranty. I had a problem with one and i was push off to the manufacturer with no help at all from Bill Smith. read more

I went in to see refrigerators. When asked what my budget was i was told they didn't have anything in that price range. That would have been just fine. As I walked out the sales man scoffed at me under his breath thinking I would not hear. I purchased my dishwasher here 5 years ago and had a wonderful experience. But never again will I go if they want to budget shame people. Just hurtful. read more

Unfortunately, My wife and I almost $8,000 on what we thought were good Samsung home appliances less than 3 years ago. Well the dishwasher broke down in the first year, the refrigerator water/ice maker for the past year freezes up and must be thawed twice a month and now the above-stove microwave quit working. I called the manager (Trent) and he had two things to say 1. That's why they try to add extended warranties 2. Their better than a big box store because they have their own service department. I asked if their service department charges me for coming out, what advantage does that give me? Trent said I didn't understand and then he was done. read more

We were forced to use Bill Smith based on our contractor using them for our new home that the contractor was building. THEY ARE TERRIBLE!!! Their support is confrontational and argumentative. We purchased Kitchen Aid, based on the sales person recommending this due to the discount. After reporting our refrigerator failing 4 times Bill Smith support told us to call Kitchen Aid directly since, "This will have more of an impact than us calling them". We called Kitchen Aid directly and were told that there had never been an issue reported on our appliance and that Bill Smith had never reported the previous service calls. Kitchen Aid said that if we wanted to request replacement we would have to pay $85 for Flamingo Appliances to come out and look at our refrigerator. After having a Bill Smith Appliances repair manager call us back we were told that "they" had called Kitchen Aid to forward our repairs and services a day later and had the nerve to ask "Are you happy now?". No I am not happy!!!! Bill Smith repair left this afternoon just after 1:30pm and AT THE TIME the refrigerator was fixed. As of now at 11:22pm it is back to 70 degrees. Kitchen Aid has pointed the finger at Bill Smith, who HAD NOT REPORTED ANY MALFUNCTIONING UNTIL THEY INSISTED I CALL KITCHEN AID!!!! And Bill Smith has simply said that it is not their fault. I hate to say this, but I would recommend Lowes, Home Depot or Best Buy. These are larger chains and will go out of their way to make things right, while Bill Smith will simply point you towards the deeper pockets and refuse to address the issue. read more

They literally are as good as it gets! Not enough positive reviews on these sites so I feel it necessary to take the time for this company. You will not find a better retailer in the area for appliances and electronics. Not only the best shopping experience but they beat the other competitors prices every time we go there! My family and friends have always purchased through Bill Smith and they never disappoint! They are a company that makes you feel like family and genuinely cares about their customers and services. I wouldn't shop anywhere else! They have multiple locations and I have shopped 3 of them so you'll probably see this review there too. Love Bill Smith!!!! read more

Horrible service ! Once you buy from them hope your appliance hold up. They " fixed" my Samsung fridge in November and same issue today in May.... that won't honor their crappy repair.....Try to buy from the small guy never again! read more

I purchased a dishwasher and range on Black Friday and was told I'd have the items delivered in 2 weeks. I said that was fine as we were not in a super rush for them, but my dishwasher was on it's way out. Two weeks goes by and I don't receive a phone call like I was told. I call the office and speak to Guy (the manager) and was told the delivery date was pushed back another week. I asked why and he said the system didn't give a reason. Someone would call me the following week before delivering. The next weekend comes around and what do you know? NO phone call. My husband called and was told once again that it'd be another week. At this point it's one month with no new appliances and thousands of dollars out of our pocket. The day comes for delivery and NO call again. This time I call and have to yell at Guy because no one is giving me answers and no one has even called when they said they would!!! It's like the employees at Bill Smith are non-existent. Why do I as a customer have to follow up on this? I even called the 800 number just so I could find out what was going on on my own. Come to find out the dishwasher is in, but the range is not and Guy still doesn't have an answer to why. I literally had to tell him to find out what is going on with my order. Like what kind of manager are you? Your customer service SUCKS. He finally called the manufacturer and I find out it's on back order. Okay, fine. Why couldn't you find that out on your own in the first place? Then I had to ask for my dishwasher to be delivered (he should have offered, but wanted to deliver at the same time). Heck, delivery should have been free by this point if you ask me. Weeks later my range comes in and Guy is all apologetic, of course. Tells me I'll receive a call the day before delivery with a 3 hour window and then will receive a call the day of 30 min prior to delivery. Guess what? No call the day before. I called at 5:30pm the day before and the girl tells me they were still confirming deliveries. Really? Don't believe you. Then the delivery day comes and no phone call again!!!! The freaking driver calls me and says he's in my driveway! My husband and I both work so we can't just drop everything and go. This whole process has been a joke and a headache. Guy needs a different job because he walks around clueless and has no idea what customer service is or how to be proactive. We wanted to support a local family business and this is what we get. Whoever the owners are need to get rid of this guy. read more

Unfortunately,Yelp requires the consumer to select a star rating. Bill Smith Appliance doesn't deserve the one star I am forced to post. When we first walked in, we had to wait our turn with a few other couples. No greeting to say they would be with us as soon as they are available. A few customers walked out and commented on how potential sales (customers) were just ignored. Finally, when we were approached by Mr. Guy Taylor, we inquired about the military discount - does Bill Smith Appliance honor the military discount as many other appliance stores do? Mr. Taylor went on to entertain us with a script of how Mr. Bill Smith himself served in the military so long story short, the answer was no! Mr. Taylor would have been better off just saying no instead of insulting both the customer (veteran) and in my opinion Mr. Smith (veteran) with his scripted answer. Moving forward, Mr. Taylor stated that some deliveries may be delayed due to unavailable stock. UNDERSTANDABLE! But, refused to give us an ETA - just an approximate! When we explained we weren't looking to hold him to the ETA but just trying to plan the best we could, an "unguaranteed ETA" would suffice. He refused! With every question we had, came a scripted answer ending in a refusal of assistance. Below the bar when it comes to customer service standards! Even after our visit, I wanted to give the local shop the benefit of the doubt against my husband's opinion. I called the next day to order the appliance over the phone - as we were told we could do once we made our decision. The woman who answered the phone sounded as answering the phone was a burden. When I explained I would like to place the order over the phone, she made every excuse why she couldn't help and why no one else could assist me. Happy ending to the story..... We ordered the same washer from Lowes with the military discount and a two day delivery. NO DELAY in delivery as Bill Smith stated. NO HESITATION in customer service with Lowes. 5 stars for LOWES ..... - 10 stars for Bill Smith. read more

Called local TV station and explained no return issue with them. Reporter just had to call store and leave message for manager.....and what do you know, we got a call from store wanting to deliver new washer free of charge! After all of this I still wouldn't buy anything from these people again! read more

I purchased a washer dryer, Samsung 2 years ago. Already the washing machine is totally rusted out at the top. I called Bill to tell them and they told me it's because the units are out in the garage. I have lived in Florida for 15 years and had w/d unit in the garage for years and never had a problem before. They will do nothing about it. Also, I purchased a Samsung stainless steel side by side refrigerator and have had rust problems with it as well. I have used the "bar keepers friend" on it as they suggested when I made a complaint (the refrigerator was only a couple of months old) when I told them I do not want a refrigerator 2 months old with rust issues already they told me there was nothing they can do about it. I think they import cheap appliances and sell them as top brand. I will never purchase from them again and I am cutting up my credit card. I literally wasted 3k on their crappy appliances. read more
