He and his buddy went on to discuss assaulting the customer to show her who is in control of the situation, and how much ass he got when he was younger, among other things. I recently tried making a deal on a used car at bill Walsh, after hashing out a price for the vehicle including my trade, it looked decent. Then as I looked at the low-ball offer for my car I took it out of the deal. Then suddenly the price on the car started coming up and up, after agreeing twice to a higher price than the offer I gave them. No more wiggle room after that they said. On 9/20 I took my 2018 Lincoln into the Bill Walsh Service Center in Ottawa for an oil change and tire rotaton. I was greeted quickly and signed in. Greg informed me it would take an hour and twenty minutes to complete. I pulled into the service center about 12:45 for a 1 o'clock appointment and didn't leave til 3:30. Not once did anyone come and inform me as to what was taking so long (two other women were also waiting that came in for a 1 o'clock). I showed Greg wear spots in my leather seats (I only have 33,500 miles on this car and the leather shouldn't be wearing like it is in a spot I don't even set in) anyway Greg was going to talk to someone about this and let me know what could be done, I didn't hear a thing. When I went out to get into my car the settings on the dash were changed, no floor or seat protection was used and I have always been offered a wash and this time I was not and needed it. Traveled from Florida to Illinois and made an appointment for a basic oil change/tire rotation for my drive back to Florida. Two days later I left to travel back to Florida, I get a phone call from a family member that my vehicle left a large oil spill/stain on her driveway where my car was parked at her house before I left for my trip back home. Being a Sunday and 350 miles into my trip, I could only find a Walmart supercenter open. They checked my car....I lost 3 quarts of oil due to the oil filter not being installed properly from Bill Walsh. Very very poor service for a basic oil change!! First and last time I would take a car there. Could have been worse if I lost all 6 quarts of oil. Contacted service manager, spoke with him and sent him pictures and service that was performed by Walmart, no response back, called, left message with another service member, no response back.....going to keep pressing this, horrible customer service when they won't respond back.... read more

We were looking at buying a new Ford Edge and got quotes from a local dealer and Walsh Ford. We got quotes from both dealers with & without a trade in. Walsh seemed to win the quote wars, so we decided to buy from them. We gave them a check as a deposit and set an appointment to return the next business day to complete the purchase. My husband called in the morning to see if we could change our appointment to several hours earlier and were told no problem. As we were on our way to the dealership, I received a phone call from Walsh stating that their quote was incorrect and they forgot to remove a $1,000 rebate that we didn't qualify for. My husband & I talked on the way down (almost an hour car ride) and realized that without this rebate, the other dealer had a better price. We decided to wait to get to the dealership & speak to them in person. When we got there, we were taken to a table and we asked about the numbers again. He explained about the rebate that they forgot to remove. My husband said he repeatedly told the person running the numbers that he wanted this quote without a trade in and he was assured that the price quoted was without a trade in. After some back & forth where we asked if they would honor the quote as it was and being told no, he went to get the sales manager Joel. This is when things went south. Joel was condescending, rude and very flippant. He said that even without that rebate, we would still be there buying the car because they had the best price. He told us that we didn't have to buy the car as they sell 6-8 cars a day and give many more quotes than that. We told him we drove almost an hour based on an incorrect quote and his reply was a very snotty "Well, we did call you before you arrived." And again stated that we didn't have to buy the car. He made it VERY clear multiple times that he wasn't at all concerned about our business. Now I completely understand human error, and if they had offered to meet us even halfway, and come down $500 on the car, we probably would have purchased. Hell, if they were at least polite about it, and perhaps offered some free oil changes that would have been something. But everyone we spoke to was snippy and rude. It's very clear that this is a dealership that cares more about its bottom line than earning a customer. We will be buying another vehicle in a year or two, so Walsh Ford lost not one, but two sales that day. read more

Complete waste of buying a "good truck" had to stand my ground in July to get my door unlock code. I was told that even though I spent $28,000 on my truck I would have to pay an additional $60 I could get it. After I posted a negative review on their Facebook Bill Walsh called my then business partner and pressured him to get me to remove my post. Wish I hadn't because I just tried to have my "free" oil change they owed me and door code just to be told they need a regular tech to get it for me. They could have told me that the other day when I booked the appointment when I even asked for the door code. I am very disappointed in their service. BEWARE! Awful, unethical dealer. I had a terrible experience. I ordered a specialty vehicle through them, waited several months, called them every 4 weeks to confirm my interest in the car, and was repeatedly told "not to worry, no deposit and no paperwork is necessary, as soon as we get the allocation the car is yours." After approximately 6 months, when they finally received the allocation they decided to sell it to someone else because they were local and I was an out of market customer. They never called me to let me know and it wasn't until I called them once again to inquire about the status that they informed me what they had done. The worst thing is, they (Mark Buehl, Sales Manager) didn't even apologize after what happened and what they did to me. Completely wasted months of my time and I missed out on other, similar vehicles I would have purchased. I was so frustrated and mad, I could have screamed. BAD DEALER with UNETHCIAL staff. 17,000 miles on 2016 F150 and have no HVAC controls. Am told they are short on techs and will not be able to do anything until Dec 5th. Without being able to defrost windows it is useless.
