I had just had a bad experience with a different dealership a few weeks ago (pushy stereotypical sales rep, undervalued my vehicle, kept nagging me on my phone after I left their dealership). I was hopeful Bill Walsh would work out. I made an appointment with Bill Walsh and I wasn't disappointed. I was greeted outside of the dealership before meeting my sales rep Jim. Jim was very knowledgeable and helpful in showing me all of the features of the RAV4 I was interested in. I never once got the feeling of someone just trying to make a sale. I am new to Toyota so he also brought me up to speed with the way Toyota goes about doing things. I was given a fair value for my vehicle. The trade/sale was very straight forward and everyone was helpful in making sure I understood everything (it's not my first time purchasing a vehicle from a dealership but you know how it can be sometimes). Do not buy used car from Bill Walsh!! Their service center is the worst service i have dealt with, and their idea of a good car is CRAP!! This past year I was looking to trade in my Jeep Wrangler for a car with better gas mileage. I had seen a car on their website i was interested in looking at. I called and inquired about the vehicle, and they said that still had the vehilce. An hour later when I had shown up for a test drive, the salesman stated that they didnt have the vehicle, and that was at another site. I told him that i wanted to go there and see it, but he assured me that the car had already been sold. He then asked me what i was looking for in a car, and had me look into my now 2008 Dodge Caliber. Went on a test drive, and everything seemed fine. Soon after discussions between my Sales Associate, and Dave the GM (who was a complete and condescending jerkface) i drove off the lot with my new car and a 3 month warrenty. About a month into driving my car, i noticed my car was starting to rattle, and the breaks were squeeling. I called the service center, made an appointment to get the car checked out. They told me nothing was wrong with the car. A week later it was still making the same noise, but a little worse. Made an appointment, and they still said the same thing...Nothing is wrong. A year has now gone by, and i am paying more for repairs on the car, then i am for the car loan itself!! And because the "warrenty is expired, there is nothing they can do." I have brought the car to 2 mechanics, and they both said the same thing... "There is NO WAY you could have done the damage to this car in the time that you have had it." and the sad part is the car is only a 2008!! I need new shocks, alternator, brakes, struts and joints. If you think about buying a car from Bill Walsh, be sure to go to Midas and have it checked by real mechanics. They do car inspections for free. Take Advantage!!! read more

This is a review for the Service center I was getting two tires put on and thought it would be done in 1/2 an hour I was there for two hours! Turns out my rims are about shot so I understand the extra time what I do not understand is why they did not notify me of the wait. They brought out my bill after two hours and informed me of the situation I would of given them four stars if they just practiced better communication. They came out to the waiting room twice to let me know it was on the rack on they were working on it but never once explained the wait, and they questioned me about weather or not I put calk around my rims to seal the bead of the tire! Our salesman was friendly and not condescending like I run into often. They worked out an issue with me and went above and beyond when they didn't need to. I am highly disappointed. My right front tire tripped the low air icon. I took the car to the shop expecting them to find something in the tire. Instead the report came from the shop that I need 2 REAR sensors to the tune of $470.00. Rear??? It was a front tire that was leaking air. Plus I was told I need front brakes because they are at 2mm and the cost would be $560.00. A thousand dollars for one front tire issue!!! I about fainted! And the tire would still be leaking air. For that kind of money I needed a second opinion. I don't need brakes immediately and to replace two FRONT sensors cost $200.00. I really like the Toyota but sure hope I don't need to trade. Don't know what kind to buy next or where. read more

I have elderly grandparents who have bought several vehicles here, and were recently treated poorly by the employees. Their car was scheduled for a RECALL appointment and at the end of the appointment the car was damaged where they were working on it. They refuse to take responsibility, even though they cracked the windshield during the appointment. Do not do business here. They do not take care of their loyal customers. read more

Hands Down the very best car dealership in Illinois. I have dealt with car dealerships all over central Illinois, and have bought and owned over 120 cars in my lifetime. Dave at Bill Walsh Toyota is very astute in quickly determining one's wishes for a new car. He uses every positive tool in the book to offer a fair, and honestly, a better deal that can be had anywhere. When they sold a car I wanted a day before I could get there (my fault), Dave found one even better and exactly what I wanted within about two hours, including a hard to find combination of paint color and interior, even better than the one I missed the day before. The price was better than what I was expecting, and the offer on my trade was fair. Mike in the business office was awesome and did not pressure me into buying services that they offer. Jason, my sales person, handled all the personal details of the sale and was incredibly polite, a good listener, and again did not try to pressure me in the least. I loved my experience and have restored faith that there are still car dealerships, that use honesty and fairness as their way of doing business. I've purchased many cars in my life, and this was the most positive car buying experience I've had. The salesman Todd Salazar was great. He was friendly , knowledgeable, and helpful. The pricing was straightforward with no gimmicks.The process was quick and efficient. When we were brought to the gentleman in financing (can't remember name) he presented us with additional options, like extended warranty in an informative manner. I came is literally 30 minutes before they closed. Not on purpose as some "negotiating" tactic. but because I was in a class that ended late in Naperville. I spoke with Dave the GM and he said come on by and we'll be here. So I get there and start talking with Dave, nice guy overall and her gets me connected with Mike Miller. Mike was the salesman who helped me out. Mike was great, just the type of salesman I like not pushy in anyway and asked genuine questions to know what your looking for. Mind you I am in sales and if I get a terrible salesman done deal I walk away fast. So Dave comes up after the test drive and says well what do you think of the Tacoma? I say it's great let's talk numbers. He says okay we looked at your Prius. What did Carmax offer you, I tell him the laughable number. He beats them by $1,000 bucks. No back and forth or bait and switch at all. I get to the finance process and unfortunately I forgot the woman's name, but she was also awesome. In and out in about an hour only because there was another couple finalizing a deal. Overall fantastic dealership and I would buy again in a heartbeat. After finding a good Ford Edge at a fair price I decided to move ahead with the purchase. Negotiated into the deal was some Minor...and I mean minor body repair work that I thought needed to be done for the price we negotiated. The sales man, as well as the sales manager walked around the car with me and I pointed out all the flaws and they both agreed that it would be no problem to fix for the agreed on price. After 4 months of constantly calling and getting sent to the body shop, then told I'd have to talk to the dealer and back and forth along with promises of "we'll take your number and have someone call you back" and never receiving a call....I demanded an appointment at the body shop. Oh and side note...they stopped picking up my calls, so I had to call from a number they didn't recognize to get this done...I was able to get an appointment set. My 6 months pregnant wife had to take the car in as I had to be at work...and here we go again...they start backing out of the repairs stating that they only agreed to fixing one spot not all of them, and the sales man we had dealt with refused to let her talk to the manager....until she got me on the phone....then the manager came out and claims "oh now I remember" total bull**** seek used cars else where...get any flaws fixed before you take delivery...buyer beware... read more

My husband and I had a phenomenal experience from beginning to end!!! After being treated horribly at the Lombard Toyota we headed to this location due to recommendation from a friend. Israel Mercado made us feel comfortable right from the start. We had narrowed it down to a few SUVs and we were able to test drive all of them. He walked us through the features and different options for each of them. We decided on the Highlander and decided to have it built. That process was quick and easy. When we picked up our vehicle, Craig walked us through financing and got us the best deal for us...even with a great extended warranty. I love my Highlander!!!!
