As a creative person who studied fashion merchandising, their displays were everything to me. It reminded me a little of Anthropology, with more of a boho/hippy vibe. He was so lovely, and even remembered my name and checked in with me prior to leaving. I can't remember his unfortunately (he was tall, dark, and handsome). I got lucky enough to purchase items that were new/clean and for an extra 50% off. A Levis sweatshirt, Aritzia tank top, Princess Polly jeans, and a Patagonia dryfit shirt, for a total of $23 with tax. Surprised they have 12 employees working that day, a lot for a thrift shop. Checking out took abnormally long due to one register, and a buyer being upset from a past purchase and not agreeing with stores policy, felt bad for the worker handling that issue/confrontation. Apologies to everyone else who had a terrible selling and shopping experience. Hopefully they improve, and I definitely will return again for the meantime.

A vintage 100% silk Victoria's Secret top? $0.10--yes, ten cents. A rag & bone handbag? Also $0.10. When I asked for clarification, they said maybe the buyer didn't realize the brand... but even then, how does that justify ten cents? The only offer that felt remotely fair was $50 for my Balenciaga hoodie. Everything else? Basically nothing--$1 total for four additional items. They were also "authenticating" my vintage Dior bag, and at that point I just stopped the process. I wasn't about to risk them offering me such a low price for it. It genuinely felt absurd. I understand resale businesses need margin, but this felt extreme. It honestly made me feel bad for people who sell here--like you'd have to be in a really tough spot to accept those kinds of offers. What's more frustrating is that nothing in the store is priced anywhere near that low. As a buyer, I've spent real money here--I even bought a beautiful vintage D&G belt for $250. Now I can't help but wonder what they paid for it. This experience definitely changed how I see the store. I still think they have great pieces, but the selling side feels incredibly one-sided. Offering even 20-30% of resale value would feel a lot more reasonable. Their "coding" for buying, It's a huge scam. As much as i loved shopping here.. you are better off not selling. Don't give your items away unless you're truly okay with the price--don't make a decision out of desperation. (If you have that luxury)

This storefront is small, but packed with all their best sellers. They keep limited sizing on the floor, but you can easily ask a member of their team to grab additional sizes from the back. I truly love that their clothing is organized by color. This helps me be strategic when picking out items, especially since I'm trying to build out a capsule wardrobe. Their items are made well, and I always get the best compliments when wearing them. So take all my money, will you?

Karen Lederman of b.spoke got a rave review from a customer, which appealed to me. I determined to make an appointment with her come Christmas time for my husband's gift of a suit, shirt, belt, and shoes. Karen was wonderful and the shop is elegant and warm including tasty snack and drinks. Time was given for selection of fabrics, linings, buttons with Karen's guidance while respectfully listening to our preferences. We knew we were in good hands. The shop offered a discount on gift cards for the holidays which I took advantage of. Karen went above and beyond and had it beautifully wrapped for my husband. Measurements were taken and we patiently waited for the finished product -- custom takes time. Today we came for the fitting. Perfection! Nothing had to be done and we walked out with the suit, belt, and two shirts. The shoes are being ordered and we'll pick them up next week. We also picked up two beautiful ties to complete the look. I bought a card, a salmon metal bottle cap opener, a ring made from a spoon, small bottle of lovely smelling perfume, plus some Palo Santo matches. We took some pictures in the Photo Booth as well. This is a fun shop to browse, and there are some interesting finds. Staff were friendly and I fully enjoyed it. I came in with little to- no expectations, and found this to be a cool local shop, highly recommend.

Her attitude and facial expressions came across very arrogant, judgmental, and discriminating, which made the situation even more embarrassing. It stopped feeling like a normal return and started feeling like I was being looked down on. I shop at Alo frequently and have spent a lot of money there over time, which made this experience even more disappointing. It wasn't even about the store credit at that point, it was about how poorly I was treated. Customer service should never make customers feel humiliated.

I was able to try on what I needed and they do offer military and first responder discounts with a valid ID so that is awesome. I ultimately came back and exchanged my pants and got them shipped to me almost immediately since they didn't have them in store. I saved a lot of money so it was worth coming into the store!
