I would have been satisfied with a hot dog and fries to go, but the owner wasn't having that. He chatted with us for several minutes while our food was being prepared, gave us a sample of the chicken salad (which is really good, btw), and was very welcoming. The hot dogs are bigger than I expected, and the chili is GREAT. You don't find that kind of chili in most places. My husband got the shrimp cheesesteak and onion rings. He loved it! They asked my husband if he wanted onions, peppers, mushrooms and made sure they got it right! They have several things on the menu that I want to try, so we'll definitely be back.

Small parking lot with plenty of business. They have a small indoor dining area that is a bar top facing the windows. A couple of picnic tables outside , which is where I ate mine. I got the Double Cheeseburger with Crinkle Cut Fries and a can of Pepsi. The burger patties were nice and thick and juicy. Hot and fresh tasting with lettuce and tomato. If you want a Traditional North Carolina Slaw Burger they can do that too. The Crinkle Cut Fries were hot , fresh , and tasty. I prefer Crinkle Cut or Steak Cut Fries , so this was a plus. The employees were also nice. They have so much other food to choose from. Bbq Pork Sandwiches , Burgers , Hot Dogs , Sausage Dogs , Corn Dogs , Fried Bologna Sandwich , Pimento Cheese Sandwich , Chicken Wings , Hamburger Steak Plate , Chicken Salad , Chicken Sandwich , Fried Okra , Fries , Onion Rings , Baked Beans , Green Beans , Slaw , and Mashed Potatoes , and more. The hot dogs are the bomb, I played it safe this time and went with two dogs with mustard on onion and sauerkraut, and the buns are extremely fresh and hotdog are full of flavor. That's what makes this place so special...... The shoestring french fries are done to perfection. They're not greasy and are very nice and crisp and well prepared. The buffalo chicken salad was done to perfection, and it was full of flavor and tasted amazing. This is one of the better cheesesteaks in the area we feel, a very generous amount of meat and cheese on a fresh several. You will not be disappointed with it for sure. I had the opportunity to meet the owner again and he is such a genuine individual, you can tell he puts his heart and soul into this restaurant and guess what ? They are in a process of opening another location some more people can enjoy their food and their vast way of hotdog selections !!!!! I wasn't sure what to order without knowing the quality so went with the mushroom swiss burger with fries. It was good and I liked the fries. The price was good as well. I wasn't checked on during the meal or asked if I needed anything other than when the food was brought out. The owner even went around and spoke to the other customers but skipped my table.
