I don't remember the last time I was able to find an unglazed buttermilk bar. They happen to be one of my favorite donuts when done right, so I was really happy. You could tell it was made with buttermilk.

(The extra large cupcake was also chocolate.) I called the day before to place the order for pick up the next morning around 10am. The order process was easy and the people were very nice. I forgot candles and I was able to buy some from the bakery when I picked up the cupcakes. The cupcakes were tasty and easy on the wallet. When I walked in Bakers Pantry they were setting out new items and it smelled amazing inside. I bought a mix of Pan Dulce. Everything was delicious and inexpensive. I highly recommend this bakery. By the way- the bakery appeared to be a local favorite as there was quite a line when I walked in (but the line moved fast).

They are pre-made already on the donut shelf. And when you order them, they microwave it in the wrap, causing the sandwich to be soggy. And then they hand you the sandwich in the heated wrap. I don't feel super comfortable eating something that has been warmed and possibly plastic lined. At least put it on a paper plate? It was weird they served the sandwich in the same thing they microwaved it in. This is the kind of place where the staff knows the regulars. But I'm not sure they are as friendly to folks just coming through town. Overall, we had an okay experience.
