My wife and I, along with my father and mother in law chanced to give our patronage to the new restaurant at Foster Golf links in Tukwila. I now wish that we chosen differently. When we arrived, the patio was bustling, However, there was one lone male customer in the dining room. That should have been a clue. When our drinks arrived, there was a long black hair on the outside of my mother in law's glass. When the hostess passed by, we hailed her, and showed her the offending hair. She wiped it off, and made as if she was going to hand the drink back. She thought better of it, and I asked her to have the drink remade. No apology, nothing. The drink was remade (I hope), and was served a few minutes later. We put in our food order. Ack! The server was unkempt. Her apron was crusted with dried on food, and her slacks looked like she just pulled them out of the dirty clothes hamper. Her hair looked as though she just finished a 5k hike. My God! Where are standards nowadays?! My wife ordered an appetizer, the nachos. We waited. We waited some more. Nothing. Meanwhile, my drink was empty as well as my mother in law's (drink). Still, we waited. Finally, some food arrived. My wife's appetizer, along with all our meals. Where the H*^l had the nachos been? Flown in from Tibet?! None of the food looked particularly pleasing, and it tasted like it too. All of it was over seasoned, heavy, and unfit for a sow. My wife's mushroom burger had slimy looking black things on it that were supposed to be the mushrooms. It looked more like the mold you find at the bottom of the shower drain. Ugh! Glad I wasn't eating it. My choice was the grilled meatloaf sandwich. I opened it up, and was quite disappointed. The lettuce was wilted, the onion strings were heavily salt and peppered, and smashed into the meat. The bacon was overcooked, and dark brown, and appeared to have been cooked this morning when the place opened. I set the bacon aside, no way was I going to eat that. The meat was blackened. OK, maybe a take on cajun meatloaf? The top bread piece was schmeared with some red stuff, not what I would call chipotle mayo as advertised. As I hadn't eaten all day, I was very hungry. I ate this thing, and it was like a lead weight hitting my belly. If I hadn't been this hungry, I would have thrown it against the wall. It was heavy, over seasoned, greasy, and did I mention heavy? The waitress bragged on the handmade potato chips. They were tasty, but overcooked. They looked almost black in color. The best part of my meal was the chips and bread that the sandwich was served on. The rest of it was atrocious. Service was crappy too. No drink refills, one check back. I had to get up, and go find the server to get my check, as I simply wanted to leave NOW. I had high hopes for this place, because I love the location. Splendid view of the golf course and grounds, very soothing. While I certainly don't expect fine dining in a pub like restaurant, this crap was unfit for any human. Very, very disappointed. The food is turning in my stomach as I write this. Yeah, the unwanted gift that keeps on giving. DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY ON THIS DUMP! It appears that it is only making money on the bar service. It won't survive as a restaurant if it continues like this. read more

I've been here a number of times for various meals and events and gave it three stars due to inconsistant food quality but would give the serive and setting a 4 stars. There are very few places in the area that do breakfast so we have come often for breakfast and I want so much to love their breakfast but it is never as good as it could be. I've been for wedding receptions and fund raising events and the food tends to be better. The new club house and restaurant is very nice but I sincerely wish the restaurant management would up their game and watch the food quality and speed of service. It's as if the manager is there in the evening so the morning kitchen staff don't deliver the quality of food that I'm sure they are aiming for. They do a very nice wedding reception though and they have a nice event space available and they do a very good job with hosting events with an easy to find location, beautiful grounds and lobby and very clean facilities at a reasonable price. read more

Have dined here 3 times since reopened under new owners and name. They still have the smoker for great BBQ items and have other tasty items on the menu. Service is good and friendly. Beautiful setting overlooking golf course. Jazz on Saturdays! read more

I had my wedding and reception at Billy' Baroo's at Foster Golf Course. From start to finish everything was great! From the food to the service everything was A+!!Corine worked with me on every small detail from table cloth runners to the vases on the table!! I just can't tell you as a bride how stress free my day was, I am still shocked that the event was flawless! I stopped in yesterday(7-24-11) for breakfast. Ordered the ham & cheese omelet with hash browns and toast. I've had much better. The omelet tasted like it came from pre-mix batter, was not fluffy like most omelets are, the "ham" looked like it was from a sandwich package, the hash browns were nothing to write home about either. I can understand if they were busy but the place was empty as far as serving meals go. I'll play golf there, have drinks with friends there but having another meal? It will be a while before that happens again. read more

We went for a family breakfast on a rainy fall Saturday morning. Two family, 7 people. Service was great and the food was fabulous. I has the smokehouse omelette, but was out ordered by my buddy who order the brisket hash and eggs. Everyone enjoyed thief meal. If you are looking for a unique place for breakfast in the South Center / Tukwila area Billy Baroo's is your place. If you like smokehouse fare, this is your place. Lisa is an amazing waitress and always has a smile to give her customers. I think customer service is so important and sometimes so hard to find in Seattle. If you want a great experience dining and to find one of the best waitresses in Seattle ask for LISA!!!!! read more

This place is great! I'm big on customer service and the servers were very prompt and courteous. They were always checking back to see if I needed anything and very friendly. As far as the food goes... I love their hot wings and the veggie frittata omelet. I will be returning most definitely! =) read more

BEST NIGHT EVER!! My husband and I went to Billy Baroo's for "date night" on Saturday Mar 24, 2018. He knows I love the atmosphere, the music, the food, the Asian Pear Martini....lol....etc. As we pulled into the parking lot I remarked that it was pretty busy tonight as the lot was almost full....I was wondering if we would be able to get a table. We walked into the foyer...and just as we were entering the restaurant I heard a group of people yelling "SURPRISE"....and it was for ME!!! My 60th Birthday was the following weekend....and let me tell you...They REALLY got me!! 60th Birthday Surprise Party!! There were tears and smiles and laughter EVERYWHERE!! BEST BIRTHDAY EVER!! Now....when I tell you the Wait Staff were phenomenal, it was beyond that!! There were at least 50 people there for my birthday, another birthday celebration had 15-20 and then there were those there for dinner and music...Michael Powers (wonderful!!) was performing. The Wait Staff never missed a beat....and all with smiles and pleasant & positive attitudes!! Everyone loved their food...and we ordered everything from grilled cheese for the kids to Chicken Alfredo to Shrimp Quesadillas to Hot Wings to Brisket to Fish & Chips to BBQ Ribs....and the list goes on. The Bartender was extraordinarily busy and kept up with the heavy flow like a true Pro!! What an unforgettable night for me and my Family & Friends....Thank You Billy Baroo's....yall are AWESOME!!! read more

While the beer menu was fun and different the food was awful. Stale bread, warm coleslaw and salad, cold meat, would return to sample the variety of beer, if the staff can make time to serve, but will skip the food. Simply awful food. read more

My husband and I recently had our wedding and reception at Foster Golf Links/Billy Baroo's and it couldn't have been any more perfect. I still hear from our guests about how terrific the BBQ menu was. Corinne, the events manager, made sure that she saw our vision and truly made it happen. From the food to her flower and decor referrals, to her personal touch, the experience was A+. I highly recommend this venue for events and parties. Everyone was so professional. read more

We stopped here for dinner tonight. Four of us. Seemed like a nice place, nice decor. I ordered the nachos with brisket..um..I had to search for the brisket. When I found it, it was fatty, fatty! When I did find the two sliced pieces, it was very nondescript, flavorless. There was a big japapeno sitting on top of the nachos...well I guess it was the attempt on presentation. My husband ordered the calamari and a side salad with blue cheese. The calamari was so bad, rubbery and no taste whatsoever. The salad was ok, but not much blue cheese. My daughter ordered the caesar salad with chicken. She took a bite and the overwhelming garlic bit her back. It was bad. My gson ordered a burger, again flavorless and overdone. They gave him a whopping one packet of ketchup. Whatever happened to bottles? Service was so so and there weren't that many people in the place. What a huge disappointment. The menu looks like it offers so many wonderful options. For us, we won't be back, no way. Save your money go somewhere else! read more
