    Birthday Boy
    Marcela V.

It was our first time here. We came to have a last minute celebration of my nephews 8th birthday. Jaime and Cesar were so extremely helpful and kind. They made our experience here that much better. They were helpful in explaining the deals they had offered for a party of about 10 kids. We ended up booking a party room and they set up the room so quickly. We're very attentive and helpful the entire time. 10/10 would recommend. Also don't forget to take you parking ticket as they validate for 2 hours.

This was my first time here and we had a great experience! I only docked a star because there was an issue with the parking validation. I'll get to that. We arrived a little after the venue opened. It was a Monday but by now I figured all kids are out of school for the winter holiday so I expected it to be packed. Much to my surprise, it was pretty empty! My daughters had the time of their lives. They are 4 and 6 and it seemed like a great age for this venue. It's not as intense as indoor trampoline or bounce house locations. Also, this has to be one of the largest indoor playgrounds we have been to in the OC. The space just goes on and on! There is also a cute toddler town with little buildings with toys! There is a home with a garden, a school, a hospital, and more! The food at the cafe was pretty good! I liked the pizza and my daughter loved her Cherry Icee. The prices weren't as bad as I was expecting. I also appreciated that there was plenty of table space for eating and plenty of benches in the play area. I always had a nice place to sit no matter what section the girls were playing in. Alright now for the parking situation. First of all, at the Garden Walk you now only get 1 hour free and the parking is now $4 an hour after that. Billy Beez does validate for an extra hour but it didn't work for me even though we seemed to do everything right. The employee scanned my ticket on the way out and said to leave within 10 minutes. It was no problem since we were parked right next to the location. I drive up to the exit kiosk, scan my ticket, and of course it says that I didn't get any validation. So I had to pay for that extra hour. I would argue it but the $4 is not worth my time. It's just more frustrating than the employee scanned my ticket and it didn't work. Despite this, my daughters had a blast and that's really all that matters in the end. So yes, we will be back at this venue again especially because I bought the 10 pack deal! Enjoy!

The play areas were great, the place was mid on cleanliness, but the customer service was NOT GOOD. We went there on a Saturday around noon, and it was our first time. The older petite lady at the reception asked if it was our first time, but she didn't give that much info despite knowing it was our first time. I had my toddler wear grip socks, and my husband and I both wore our own socks because we saw on the website it was required. So I told the reception lady this, and she said bluntly and rudely, "It needs to be our socks." I insisted we brought our own socks (us parents), and she again said, rudely, "No it needs to be our socks." Without even an explanation! So we bought 3 pairs of Billy Beez socks. When we entered the small gate and play area, lo and behold, there were MANY parents waiting on the sideline wearing their SHOES and their OWN socks, not the Billy Beez socks! Apparently you need their socks IF you'll enter each play area (slides, toddler soft play, etc). The reception lady didn't tell us this - and my husband or I could've just stayed out since my toddler only really needed 1 parent with her. I wish the lady told us this - especially when I mentioned it was OUR FIRST TIME! How were we supposed to know this? But she was so dismissive and unhelpful. The Pretend Play area was just okay - 3 of the battery activated toys that were out were not functioning and needed new batteries. Bummer cos my toddler was pressing buttons and wanted to play with them. There's no staff actively organizing toys in there nor any staff around the play areas (slides). They are just in the reception front area the whole time, is what I've noticed. For bigger kids this place is ok, but for smaller toddlers a lot of supervision is needed - I.e. there were big kids throwing climbing blocks to each other in the toddler soft play area - dangerous if you have a small toddler! They might easily get hit by the big blocks. There's also no slippers to wear if you go to the restroom- make sure you bring your shoes with you! Yucky to be wearing only socks in a public restroom.

I'm booking a 10-20 people deluxe party room for my daughter's birthday in August, am I able to bring my own food, drinks, snacks & cake?

    Yes

I would like to celebrate my daughter's birthday in June 6th, 2021? Will you open on that date? Thank you!

They will be open but not doing parties officially at that time.

Has billy beez reopened? I called the number a few times and no one answered.

Yes they have reopened. Current hours are, Mondays closed Tuesdays - Friday 11:00 am to 6:00 pm, Saturday and Sunday 11:00 am to 7:00 pm, the last admission is 1 hour before close.

    What's the Price?

Estimated price per child is around $15 and $5 per adult. Somewhere around that price range . They have special plans when you bring in 2 kids and two adults . I just don't remember the prices on the special .

Hello. Does anyone know what the entrance fee is?

Current pricing is $17.95 for kids and $3.95 for Adults.

How much is entrance for adults? And for toddlers?

Children 1-17 $17.95, under 1 free with paid child or $9.95 with Adult.

Is there an area for 6 month old?

There is not a separate are for kids under 1. The "Mini Beez" section is for the younger kids under a certain height.

Can I bring my own cake in without booking a party room?

I don't believe so. If your not renting their room most likely no. As they don't allow outside food and drinks in either.

Great place to visit in DCA!…read more Just an FYI, I noticed that unless you have your stroller designated as a wheelchair, you can't bring it in and you have to park it outside for those who have children. Kids love this place as they can run around, go down a slide, and use the tire zipline among the rope climbing areas. I think it's a more physical and interactive space where they can also learn about the wilderness and how we can take care of nature around us versus just running around a regular playground. You can interact with the cast members there and sometimes they have photo pass opportunities here too. For Oogie Boogie Bash, this area is used for the Villain's Grove and during the Xmas season you can meet Santa here or decorate some cookies. I went during the Hoppers Collaboration and it's a cute little "scavenger hunt" with signs of the critter characters, a puzzle to decode, and photo opportunities with some free stickers. Super cute and fun! Hope it becomes permanent since the theme is perfect and since I love Tom Lizard.

Parking is free, and there are plenty of spaces when their isn't other events or services going on at the same location. My first visit was for a family kid's birthday party, and we were all pleasantly surprised. The party itself was organized well and had its own area inside one of the buildings. We had our own area decorated (you can bring your own decorations, too), and the food was fantastic for amusement park food. We had pizza, turkey sandwiches, chicken tenders, soda, and punch. We had about an hour for lunch before being released to enjoy the rest of the park. Many of the staff were kind during the party and throughout the park and made the experience that much nicer. The variety of rides here will please most young kids and adults. There are a couple of roller coasters, a carousel, a train that circles once around the park, and many more rides. I'm surprised how much they fit into the park space. There is also an arcade and a petting zoo. For food in the park, you have the standard burgers, pizza, tenders, pretzels, churros, ICEE, ice cream, and more. The prices aren't too bad either. Plenty of snacks and merch to purchase, too. There are also plenty of places to sit and relax, with shaded areas. Especially needed during a warm SoCal day. It was the first time for many guests in our party, and everyone enjoyed the experience. Many of the kids want to go back and have their birthday parties here next year, too.

This year, I wanted to do something different and give myself a break from all the planning, setup, cleanup, and stress. I chose Kids Empire after attending another birthday party here that was so well done. I expected to have that same experience, but unfortunately, ours was the complete opposite. We hosted our daughter's 5th birthday on Thursday, July 11, with about 40 guests. I dropped off our balloons, cake, and drinks ahead of time and was told I didn't need to arrive early because everything would be set up. Thankfully, I did anyway because almost nothing had been put out except the tablecloths, cups, and Kids Empire's drinks. I ended up setting everything up myself. The biggest concern was safety. Both restrooms were closed due to plumbing issues, forcing our guests to walk to Target just to use the restroom. Meanwhile, the back exit door was left wide open for the plumber with no employee monitoring it. Parents from my party stood by the door because we were worried children could accidentally walk outside. When we expressed our concerns, the only response was, "It's open for the plumber." Our party package included seven pizzas, but Kids Empire forgot to order them. We didn't find out until we asked where they were around 6:30. The pizzas didn't arrive until 7:40--after our party had ended--so I ended up giving away full pizza boxes for families to take home. We were also told the dragon mascot would come out, but instead of interacting with the kids, it was only a rushed photo before we were hurried along. I will say the local manager was kind, empathetic, and did everything she could to help. Tried offering free passes to come back. She followed up with me and escalated everything to the regional manager. Unfortunately, the overall handling of the situation still left me disappointed. When the regional manager took away the passes to come back. I chose to have the party here so I could relax and enjoy my daughter's special day instead of worrying about the details. Instead, I found myself handling many of the things I paid the venue to take care of while dealing with issues that should never happen at a children's party. Sadly, I can't recommend hosting a birthday party here. Many parents at our party told me it was their first time visiting Kids Empire, and after everything they witnessed, several said they wouldn't be coming back. Unfortunately, I won't be referring anyone here either.

Yes, I still woke up at 2am making sure the car was packed and checking everything off my list, but once we arrived, I didn't have to worry about a single thing during the actual party. Thank you, Lei and team! Everything was exactly as stated in the emails and texts. NOTHING was forgotten. We got the Treasure Package, so we had an hour in the Aquarium Room, an hour in the Beach Ball Room, and then lunch for an hour. My son had the best 6th birthday party, and all of his friends had an amazing time too! The team was thoughtful, kind, organized, and communicated clearly throughout the entire party. The setup was beautiful, and not having to clean up afterward was AMAZING. If you want true white glove service, come to Seascapes. They will not disappoint.

The owners are so sweet, very welcoming, helpful and sounded very passionate about their place. They did share that their business was first primarily to host kod's borthday parties, they have so many differwnt packages and options. Can't wait to host my daughter's birthday there. Play area is huge, not so crowded on a Friday afternoon- just enough to see many kids having fun. I really like two things mostly, there are cameras all around with screens facing right where parents can sit and chill while wayching over their kids. Finding the place was easy and so was parking. I wish they open on weekends too!

It's enjoyable for a short break, especially if you like exploring scenic or creative structures. That said, it's more of a quick walkthrough experience rather than a long activity, and it can feel a bit limited if it's crowded. Still, it's a nice change of pace and worth stopping by if you're already in Adventureland.

It's a simple experience. You walk up the trunk of the tree, explore the various exhibits up in the 'canopy' above, and then slowly make your way back down. it's a quick walk, but there's enough to look at that you'll most likely see something new with each visit. I appreciate that. It's overload, but it doesn't feel like overload. With all that said, I think more than most rides/attractions at Disneyland, this one is a skip for me. It's nor horrible, but you're not missing anything by not going on it. I've always seen this as either a time killer or a 'huh. Haven't been on this in forever.' It's never anywhere near my list of things to do when I come to the park. It's just kinda...there. And I feel like the fact that it is constantly retooled speaks for that. I feel like the park doesn't really know what to do with this space. They keep trying to keep thing relevant, but just never really get it right.
