So clean Staff is friendly too
Spotti B.

Place is spotless. $15 for one hour and $20 for two hours. My 5 year old loves it here. We always keep the grippy socks and bring back to reuse them and avoid fee. It can get cold in here which is good but bring a sweater if you get cold easily lol Would definitely recommend we come Mondays and crowds are small. Also , it's faster to prepay and fill out waiver online rather ran doing it in person.

Have been here before for playmates and its great when the kids want to run around and parents don't want to be out in the sun. Bonus points, the place is fully shoe free as soon as you walk in, but the bathrooms have foam sandals for you to borrow and not get your feet wet. But let me tell you about their party packaged... absolutely recommend! We opted for the all in. You get a 3hr pass, private room, pizzas (your choice cheese or pepperoni), and your choice in drinks per person. I was greatly impressed with Fatima and her team, they took care of us and our group as soon as we arrived, the whole team was a ware of our party, the room was clean and preset wot table cloths, plates, and table balloons. The food arrived promptly, and everyone had a great time.

Love this place! I've been going here for about 2/3 years and it's perfect for toddlers and bigger kids like 10 years. I recently went and didn't realize Little Land was for 4 years and under and I used to bring both my daughters to that side no problem but unfortunately this time my oldest that just turned 5 couldn't play in that side anymore so we had her play in the big kids side :'/ which is understandable but I think it should be 5 years and under in my opinion. But I definitely recommend this spot! The snacks are pricey though and grip socks are required fyi! Also waiver needs to be signed at the entrance too. Will come again soon :)

First time here and we had a blast! Candeeland is super clean, well maintained, and perfect for kids. The staff was so friendly, the restrooms were spotless, and there were tons of fun activities for the kids to enjoy. We honestly couldn't ask for more! Tip for first-timers: park outside Macy's, walk through the mall toward Round 1, then take the escalators Candeeland will be right there waiting for you My kids left so happy and thankful

Little Land for ages 4 and under

Candeeland is on the second floor of Main Place mall next to Round One! Plenty of free parking surrounding the mall. I purchased tickets and signed the waiver online. Entering was quick and easy. I did have to purchase their socks with grip for $3. Adults also have to wear regular socks which are available for purchase if needed. We arrived an hour before closing on an early closing day on a weekday, so it was not as busy and it was very clean! The staff was actively cleaning for a private party after closing. I liked the "little land" for ages 4 and under. Everything is soft, small and perfect for the littles! It was nice to let baby run around in a safe place. Some bigger kids did come in to the ball pit which was not fun, but we easily found another area to play in. I did go to the main, bigger area with the baby since it was empty. There are fun little areas with punching bags and obstacle courses. Once you climb up inside the main playground, it is not baby friendly / safe so I don't recommend letting little ones go up alone.

Candeeland is a pretty fun place for kids. I'd say for indoor play areas, the strengths include the slides and vertical nature of the arena. We came in on a weekday morning right when they opened and it was pretty easy to use our Groupon to get in - the staff member at the front who helped us out was very accommodating! We brought in grippy socks, so no need to buy theirs. My 6-year-old went through the entire arena in about 20min, whereas my 4-year-old only explored a tiny bit in the hour that we bought. There's an area for younger kids and a few spots for adults to sit and wait, but adults were also going with their kids into the arena. They had some music playing and I wish that the lighting was a little better. I get that some areas are more fun in darker environments; but, for example, the wavy slide area could have been brighter. There's an obstacle course and plenty of places for kids to hang out. They also have a snack area, a grab machine area, and some ice cream. For the price, not bad! But an hour is more than enough for an adventurous kid.

Attended a friends son 5th birthday at candee land in santa ana and this place is pretty dang awesome for kids. Bonus Blippee has visited candee land. The playground is a lot of fun for kids with lots of maze like passage ways and large slide for kids to run around to their hearts content. The little land is very cute with the manual merry go round that little kids can enjoy and the ball pit is very large with a ball suction tube. See saws a plenty for them to play and make friends with. Such a fun environment and great for birthday parties for the little ones. The party space for the birthday celebration is very large with plenty of trash receptacles. Everyone needs to have socks on including adults. They also have parents covered with pay for massage chairs inside the back corner by the restroom area for parents to relax while their kids play. My lil one loved it here and will likely be back maybe for her birthday. Since this is a bit far from us. Highly recommend if you are in the area. Its in the mall on the second floor next to ashley homes. The mall is also right by the discovery cube so its a plus for parents to meet up with friends and have their kiddos play together. Great space. Highly recommend. Ratea are done by time 60min for $15 at the time of this review.

This place is really nice. Very clean and is spacious, they have a cute section for 4 years and younger and they keep to the rules in that. Everyone who works there is also super nice. They also have cute rooms for parties and can even close the playground before it opens if you want to throw a private party and rent the whole place. It's inside the mall on the second floor near the round 1 kinda. I would've given the place a 4 but it just got super crowded during the weekend, I'm not sure what the policy is, but just seemed like a lot. The prices are fair, $15 per kid for 30 min, then $3 per adult. We do like coming out to eat out here so we will probably be back. Just wish it had like a cutoff for how many people they can let in sometimes.

Very nice! Really fun and clean. I like that there's a walkway completely around the main play structure which is great for keeping an eye on your kids. They can't disappear in a corner. I thought it was a tiny bit pricey, but the Groupon made it a deal! And saved money for the snack bar. Three levels of play tubes and slides. Parking is a bit far of a walk for the smallest kiddos.

Dirty and dead bugs in the corners of this entire toddler wall

definitely don't recommend for toddlers (4 and under) due to the assigned section for our babies being very dirty. So much dirt, dust and dead bugs near the edges/ corners of toddler play area. The top play area with big legos had these filters that little ones can stick their finger in it and potentially hurt themselves if no notices. I brought my 9 year old who had fun in big kid area but toddler area is definitely needed to be deep cleaned and sanitized! Good customer service but definitely dirty

Brandon M.

GroupOn brought us here, no regrets. I was shocked at how big the facility was once inside. Very colorful and interactive. The 4 and under section is very helpful. Keeps the real young ones occupied and out of harms way, that being the bigger kids who run the show in the main play area. The staff does a great job keeping the place clean. The snack bar is always fully stocked, minus popcorn which is apparently a weekend delicacy. Adults are able to explore and enjoy just as much as the kids. I won a lot of races on the main slide, no lie.

Ask the Community - Candeeland

Can we rent out the whole facility for a couple hours?

I would think you can if you have the means$$$.

Can kids stay and play longer than 2 hours? The online ticketing system only shows 2 hours.

I think the reservations are just done in 2 hour segments, but you/your kids can stay as long as you'd like.

Can I bring my own grip socks from Target, or do they need to be super grippy like from Skyzone?

I think they have to be the super grippy ones but at least you can bring your existing sky zone ones

Can we bring food and outside snacks in?

No, they do not allow outside snacks nor drinks.

Is this inside the mall?

Yes, it's located on the 2nd floor inside Mainplace Mall. Easiest access is to enter the mall doors located between Lucille's and Applebee's.

Is there a wait to get in on the weekends? How long is the wait?

Due to less restrictive tier our capacity has increased and wait time during weekends are minimal 5 to 10 minutes max if not in most cases NO wait. Thank you!

Is it safe for 2 yr olds?

YES! There is a small section that is specifically for kids 5 years and under.

Do kids have to wear a mask?

3 years and under are not required to wear a mask

Hi, when are you guys planning to reopen?

This Friday, 29th @ 11:00am! 🥳👍🍬🍭

Do you guys require reservations?

No reservations are needed, only walk ins

Hey Peter, What safety measures are you taking? Are you limiting capacity?

Hello Sharon, yes we are requiring mask policy, temperature scanning, sanitizing before entry and limiting our cap. Also, the park is protected with MicroShield 360, a FDA approved electrostatic spray. Thank you!

Do the kids have to wear a mask when they play?

Yes, but toddlers are not restricted. Thank you!

Do the private party packages include admission for the kids parents or is that an additional cost?

Hello Kelly, our party packages include admission depending on which package you get. You can check our website for detailed information. Thank you!

Just from visiting this spot a couple times on separate occasions, I would definitely consider this…read morethe best indoor spot I have ever seen for a toddler. It's quite spacious and there are just such a variety of activities for kids, from playing in a ball pit, to stacking random foam blocks, to playing in an area filled with random electronic entertainment (like mario kart and coloring fish), to actual play area with slides and padded obstacles. Even after seeing some of the lower reviews, I still think it is relatively clean considering the amount of traffic the weekend or evening may bring. I didn't really see anything that was broken or not working, and even when the mario kart system bugged out and was on a default screen, a staff member quickly did a reset and got it back into working order within 10 minutes or so. A consideration to be made is the fact that not all the parents are attentive with their kids, so there were definitely some kids that are just disrupting other kids playing or being obnoxious/rude. It's inevitable but also makes it feel like some parents literally just let their kids do whatever with little supervision, knowing that they are within the indoor playground. For example, my 1 year old was sitting on the padded carousel, and an older kid (at least 6 y.o.) jumped into the middle of the carousel and started dancing around wildly, which would've been fine until he almost fell on top of my much smaller child. It should also be noted that the area was marked for 2 y.o. or younger, but there's pretty much no enforcement of the space. Otherwise, it's a really cool spot for kids to burn a few hours and I still think it's remarkable that they fit so many different things to do in the same area.

I don't feel like it's kept as clean as it was when it opened, I used to see the staff constantly cleaning. It's a bit pricey but during the week you can leave and come back so I'm ok with the price. The most recent and biggest problem for me was going the other day to meet a friend and paying full price a little at right about 2:30pm and when I asked for the hand stamp to go get my son dinner around 4:50 being informed they were closing 3 hours early(5pm). After I thought about it I called to speak to a manager and was told there wasn't one on site but they would leave a message for them to call me over the weekend but had I come in 2hours(so at 3pm) prior to closing they would have informed me they were closing early and still charging full price and there was nothing they could do. I asked to have a manager contact me, I would have rather discussed my issues with them directly but unfortunately they never contacted me. It's unfortunate because my son does love this place but I don't like the feeling of being ripped off. You're charging people full price and then closing early to make more money off of events.

Plenty of space…read morefor multiple parties and quite a good amount play activities from within the facility itself, including a toddler area, a random dancing area with lights and spray painted planets, and a humongous padded playground with extra large slides, roller sled, and a mini soccer field. It's impressive how well thought out they used the space and there was still plenty to do for my kid to stay occupied even after several hours. For example, there's these extra large Lego-like brick things (that I noticed said made in Germany?) that the kids spent plenty of time trying to create large structures and really utilize their imagination. The only gripe I had is that the bathroom was sort of small and not necessarily well kept, as upon opening there was already a soap dispenser out of soap and I could see random puddles of sitting water. Otherwise, it was an extremely positive experience and the size of the playground might make it difficult to locate your kid but ultimately they are somewhere in there. Pricing also was very reasonable, you get a lot for your money (basically $50 for 1 child and 1 adult for all day play) and could easily burn half a day visiting this location. Would definitely recommend for any parent!

FINALLY REOPENED!! They been through a lot since their opening and it was worth it!…read more We went to their Vista location a few weeks ago and it was amazing (see my review for Vista) and the Rancho location was even better. The lines to get in last weekend was literally out the door. It felt like I was waiting to get into a club LOL Rancho is about 27,000 sq ft of kid focused activities. A lot of their set up was similar to Vista but there are things that I liked better at the Rancho one. First let's talk about pricing as that is super important. It's $30 for the full day and ins and out privileges are allowed. We went during their reopening weekend and admission and parties were 50% off. So I def had to book my little one's party. Their snack bar is so reasonable priced. I have been to other indoor playgrounds and snacks are so expensive where a can of soda was $5. Secondly, the play structures, interactive actives and jumpers are huge. The jumper was so big that it had a basketball court, climbing apparatus and mini obstacle course inside (much bigger than Vista). The multi level play structure had a basketball/soccer court inside, touch screen projection video game and many slides ( I count at least 4). The toddler area had a ball out and slide and had this spaceship where it would drop balls into the ball out. This is where all the kiddos were cause it was so fun. In the toddler area, there was a mini jumper so the toddlers could also enjoy a jumper and be safe from the bigger kiddos. Oh! There was a trampoline in the toddler area too! Overall I'm still really impressed with Play City and can't wait to go back. As the summer is coming and staying away from outside playground while not impacting play time...Play City is the answer. Ninja Factory is an indoor playground for older kiddos should be opening in 3-4 weeks. Same owners so you know it's going to be great!

I've literally been waiting for this place to reopen since the original grand opening…read more First of all the bathrooms were super clean. And the AC actually worked. If you're a parent, you already know that alone is a win. It was busy, but not the kind of busy where you're stressed the whole time. My son was still able to run straight to all the fun spots and actually try everything without waiting forever. That made such a difference. I did overhear a parent frustrated that they charge for infants (0-11 months). Parents can come in free to supervise, which is nice, but you do have to pay if you plan to jump. We went during a 50% off weekend, so two hours at half price felt like a total mom win. Also they allow outside food, which I honestly love. Someone had an entire box of Costco pizza, and I saw another parent with Uber Eats McDonald's. No overpriced snack-bar pressure, just bring your own food. I've been going back and forth about the membership... but $54.99 a month (with one buddy pass) and $89.99 for VIP just feels a little steep for our budget right now. Maybe if they run a special or adjust pricing. Overall though we had a really good time and we'll definitely be back.
