Absolutely will I never go back here I expect this out of McDonald's or Burger King the service I received. Spent $25 at this location ordered a rib sandwich 2 pork on a pita and 2 hot dogs and a couple bags of fries because my 5 year old wanted hot dogs. I place the order to go as wife and kid are in car and make the 4 mile trek home get home and realize that my kids hot dogs aren't in there. Fantastic. I call get put on hold so she can double check like I'm lying about free hot dogs or something she says oh we have them. 4 miles back there and 4 miles back home. I'm sure my food is nice and cold by now. I used to love this place the ribs were good and the circus of people is fun to watch. The last time we were here some woman left her child on the floor screaming while she and the rest of her family ate. After my friend blew a gasket the manager finally came out and settled things down. They have a huge menu with just about anything you could want. I go for the ribs, but this was a sad time indeed. My ultimate go-to place for good meats and coleslaw! I don't live around here but thank God i have a couple of friends who can drive to this area and buy me great fall-off-the-bones bbq ribs (and the sauce is sweet and tangy), delightfully fresh tasting Coleslaw (I could eat this every day!), meaty-saucy wraps (just check their menu), even their appetizers are good! The place reminds me of diners back in the days of Al Capone, and the liquor store does not bother me at all. I used to be a regular customer at Billy boys. That was until I watched an employee drop a whole load of napkins on the ground and then load them into the napkin dispenser. The food is okay. Nothing special. What really made me stop going there is the smell of mold in the coolers. They have an attached liquor store. For the last year, every time I go in there to buy beer, the coolers reek of mold. If you pick up a six pack of PBR or Miller and smell the top of the can it reeks of mold. Absolutely disgusting! Why would I want to eat at this restaurant knowing that their cooler smells like mold? NASTY!!! read more

This place used to be great about 20 years ago. Back then they had excellent ribs and gyros. But something has chanced in the past couple of decades. The inside has been remodled and looks great. I tried the ribs recently and I couldn't eat them. They were overcooked/burnt and fatty. They used to be tender/fall off the bone ribs. I also got a gyro and it was overcooked. The meat was cut from the gyro roll and heated ont he grill way too long causing it to be burnt & very dry. A gyro isn't something hard to get right and when you've been doing it for as long as they have it should be perfect. On the plus side they have ok fries and the bbq sauce they use is pretty good. But I don't plan on going back. read more

I've been going to Billy Boys since I was big enough to cross 95th St. (Approx 33yrs)The ribs are the best in the world! I've tried the Patio and different places locally and out of town and none of them have surpassed Billy Boys. They are perfect, fall off the bone, meaty, and the sauce is not too sweet, not too hot, just perfect and lots of it. The prices have remained the same for years. The rest of the huge menu is awesome too. But I have to admit, each time I treat myself, it has to be a full slab. I LOVE Billy Boys. i will say that the rib/chicken combo is pretty good and fairly reasonable for what y ou get.....ribs/chicken/fries/coleslaw and a hunk of garlic bread.....would reccommend... dissappointed in the corned beef sandwhich tho, for the price all you get is few slices of corned beed on rye bread...barely hot....you can have mustard on it...costs extra for cheese....and no fries...it was $6 ....not a big sandwhich at all.... few snacks are yummy while not really cheese the breaded cheesey brocoli bites are very good, tater munchers yummmmy, new pretlze mozzerella bites taste more like beer battered cheesey bits but they are good..... few other sandwhiches are ok.....nothing to write home about....but yes i will again say ribtip/chicken combo is good and was like $14 for what you got. will still try a few other sandwhiches to give em a try.....cuz sometimes you do want somethin other then ribs when you dont want a lot to eat or pay to much. read more

This place is a joke! I spent $20 on food and asked for 4 cups of water.... The cashier had no problem with it and the manager turned around and said since there wasn't 4 people we could only have 2 cups of water and get up to get them refilled.. If I'm spending $20 on food for two people and want 4 cups, I should be able to have that? Before leaving I was going to order a burger to go until my boyfriend said he'd rather go somewhere else to spend our money. We will no longer be eating here because the manager is a cheap ass. Been a staple for tasty burgers, sandwiches and ribs my whole life. My favorite is the chicken parmesan sandwich. It's flavorful and grilled versus breaded/fried. One of my friends talks constantly about how good the ribs are, we both agree NOT the Patio, so tonight I'm off work late, on my way home and I thought I'll try it. Standing for about 5 minutes waiting for my order, not bad so far, then a chubby employee walks over to make an order of fries in the paper bag-right in front of my view-and wipes her neck with her bare hand. She then must have thought there were too many fries in the bag-so she takes a few off the top and throws them back on the pile-yep, with the very same bare hand! Wait it gets better! Then she sticks her hand right in the pile of fries, picks up a couple, sticks them in her mouth, and walks away! I noticed not a single employee had gloves on and were touching everything with their hands. My ribs were ok, I can't tell you if the fries were any good, my dogs ate them. Used to be my favorite place for ribs, until today. As we ate in a booth by the window, a cockroach danced across the wall & windowsill. I let a guy at the counter know who cane out to the booth to kill it. He smacks it with a paper towel saying it came from outside. No cleanup of the area with bug guts. Love this place! Been going here since I was a kid, literally. My first taste of a gyro was at BB, been loving them ever since. We visited last night (10/19/2012) after an OL football game. Had a double burger and fries. I really like their burgers, they're cheap and good. What else can you ask for? A beer to go with it? They have that too!
