The menus are on a vinyl, to match their theme. And their drink menu is fun. What was disappointing was that 1. we had to wait 25 minutes for a bartender to show up and get our orders, then another long time to get the drinks. After the wait, a second drink was out of the question. 2. This is a vinyl lounge, and even though they had a setup for a DJ, there was no one playing but a speaker. 3. Some or our drinks did not come out with all the "frills" and effects as described on the menu, so we missed part of the experience. Not sure if it was an off night for them but my experience wasn't great.

Float of kraken if you must, but use some Caribbean rum in there! Service was great, atmosphere left room for improvement. Great for a casual few drinks with your meal. Solid spot! Despite the higher prices, I'd rate this near the top in terms of hotel amenities, mainly due to good service and a fantastic, elevated, almost 360° view of Albuquerque. If you want to socialize a bit at the end of your day, you'll find 10-20 people enjoying dinner and drinks even on a random weekday. The music is tasteful, there's good ambience, but it's quiet enough to have a conversation without yelling if you'd like to. I ordered the peach mule and pepperoni flatbread (with green Chile added, of course). The mule was great, I had to order a second. It was just peachy enough to give character without being overwhelming. The flatbread was decent, though being served on a small charcuterie board let it cool off a bit faster than I'd have liked - this my reason for 4 stars rather than 5. All in all, if you want a fantastic view and a nice place to relax at the end of the day, try Volare. The views alone make it worthwhile.

TRULY HARD SELTZER | 7 Hard Seltzer | 5.0% ABV Secondly, 7 out of 8 of us ordered food and 1 person had to ask for her crostini 3 or 4 times. Our lovely server did take it off of her check but nontheless, we were all done eating by the time she got her food and she was so gracious about it. Another thing: why can't I make a reservation in advance for a group of more than 4 when the place was clearly not busy at 4 pm on a Tuesday? We make 3 separate reservations for 4 people. This is a social group, and we meetup via MEETUP weekly. People will RSVP and then cancel. We had 12 coming and then 8 showed up. I am not certain we will resturn.

Interesting that they distill their own vodka, gin, & bourbon. Might have to go back with a designated driver and try some. Tried their Jest-a-Lager & Low-Rider lagers, with both getting more bitter towards the bottom of the pint. Tasted the grapefruit lager & the unfiltered pilsner, with the latter being the smoothest finish of everything I had. I did not sample the ales or rum cask porter, which are more inline with what I prefer because of my drive and empty stomach.
