I hadn't heard of this Teddy Roe's so we grabbed a reservation for the late evening. After getting dropped off by a car we tried to find the entrance. I'm not going to give away the trick to it but it was fun. Once inside we got our spot that we held. I didn't see a drink on their menu that I liked that was rum based, so I asked the kind bartender if they could make me one. I only asked that it be alcohol forward, but that I was good if it was a more fruity drink too. They brought me a concoction that was perfect. It's a real nice place. The ornate ceiling and the beautiful bar added to the regal vibes of the place. I would definite recommend Teddy's; it's one of the best speakeasies in town.

In a rare turn of events, both kids got the same thing, the Korean chicken bites with the sauce on the side, which was a great decision bc it did have a kick to it. The chicken itself was a bit dry. Both adults also got the pork belly flatbread. I found it a bit unbalanced with too much sauce and not enough other toppings, and the base wasn't as crispy as I prefer. Speaking of crispy, we opted for the appetizer brussel sprouts, and they were a bit chewy and on the not so super crispy side. The alcohol that they offer is all local so don't come in asking for some Jack Daniels because they won't have it. I love this because it give us an opportunity to try the local spirits. He made me an old-fashioned that was smoked and it was delicious. We learned a little bit about the area and had a nice chat before we headed back to our room for the night. It was Sunday night, so nothing really was going on however, on other days of the week they have live music and other activities so come check them out if you have a chance.

The citrus was definitely citrus and refreshing. The pot star martini was very funny and fun to drink, wirh a lot of tropical flavors, but it was not as fun as the glittery cosmo. As a snack, the birria fries were a good compliment, quite delicious with enough birria. Overall, it is no surprise that Happy Accidents is one of the best bars known the US.
