I've been buying from Moon's for years, and during a trip for the Balloon Fiesta in 2019, my son and I had the pleasure of meeting Joy and Jori in person. They were so kind and welcoming, and it made us appreciate their work even more. In my opinion, their roasting is spot-on--rich, flavorful, and always balanced. Every blend I've tried has been incredible. Having a burr grinder to grind these is key! My son's more of a tea guy, and he was excited to pick up some of their loose leaf selections too. If you ever get the chance, go visit Moon's and meet these wonderful folks. The coffee somehow tastes even better when you know who's behind it.

There is only one size (12oz) so I grabbed two since I'm a traveling man today. I like my coffee so needed that spare. Cinnamon rolls can be found but overall this is a coffee shop. Not like grandma's hash slinging eggs over easy, coffee, reading, chatting, and just enjoying the day in general. If I had more time, I would have written some on my dissertation this morning. Their cold brew is flavorful, though I'd love to see them use a lighter roast to cut some of the smokier notes--but that's more personal preference than criticism.
