Always been happy with this theater. Nearby. Decent prices. Seemingly safe parking lot / inside. Quality theater options including the XD--really like the top, half-row where you can be on the end / aisle while still being in the center. That row is also elevated higher than all the others. And the far far left staircase after entering the XD theater takes you directly to the top row without needing to go up thru all the rows in the theater. The seating chart shows six seats starting at N16 but in reality there are 7 starting with N15 which allows you to move over and have an aisle on one side and empty seat on the other. The only real complaint I have is that the smaller theaters adjoining the XD can many times hear the booming audio from the XD. Can't speak to the food options since I'm never interested. I've seen a couple reviews complaining that this Cinemark is hidden and hard to find. Just go south Main Street and take a right at the first light after 114 (Mustang Drive). Then go 0.4 miles and look for the theater behind the buildings on the right--look for the KS2 Technology sign / building as your clue where to turn right. GPS using either theater name or address should take you right there. read more

Have been here when it's super crowded and also when it's very dead and in either scenario it's a great experience. They keep a good selection of films and different size theaters but all have the big comfy reclining/heating chairs. They also have the standard movie food/drink for sale while having a separate fuller fast food like restaurant to the side that you can order some standards like pizza, burgers and chicken tenders to take in with you. They also have a full bar. All around enjoy and recommend this theater. read more

This will be our new go-to movie theater! The matinee prices were very reasonable. Super impressed with the cleanliness of the concessions area. The seats are comfy enough, I am on the bigger side so sometimes my hips would hit the buttons but I think for most people they'd be very comfortable. I love that they are heated. Theater: The XD theater room appears bigger than the one in Lewisville. The last row of six seats is elevated above the floor which provides a throne-like viewing experience. When seated near the last rows, I suggest taking the separate set of stairs which leads directly to the last row. Food: Although it is available when the machine works, the Lewisville location does not offer kettle corn popcorn to be preordered. In case. On my initial visit, I did not preorder any food in case it is the similar situation with this location. That is when I discovered some menu items, such as kettle corn, is not available here. For this visit, I did preorder popcorn and drinks. I did not see my order several minutes before the movie start time and asked the employee working by the pickup area. If my order had been skipped for a Saturday matinee, imagine the number of orders forgotten during a Friday or Saturday night. Restroom: The restrooms in the main lobby is weird. Unlike the Dallas theater, it is not meant for a single person, so the exterior door does not lock. On the other hand, the bathroom has a urinal and a toilet stall. Although there is room for a person in front of the sink, it can get awkward waiting. When I went to use the urinal, there was someone using the stall. Pretty much all of their locations have upgraded their seats to power recliners and luxury lounger, especially this one with their heated seats (most don't work unfortunately). Compares to all other locations, this one has the cheapest tickets for any options, including XD!!!! And by cheapest, I meant up to about $5-$7 cheaper/ticket!!! Besides the regular concession food, they have the whole section of made to order food, and Starbucks coffee!!!! Make sure you sign up for Cinemark Reward. It's $9/month and the equivalent of 1 ticket. The ticket credit does get rolled over every month if you don't use it. On top of that, you get 20% off any food/drink purchase. For every 250 points, you get another free ticket, and any additional ticket is only $8 (plus extra fee for 3D or XD), definitely worth it! read more

This location seems to prioritize creating movie-goer loyalty over squeezing you dry for every penny they can. If you're looking for a consistent experience, try this location. The experience: Sound & Picture: I love how QUIET it is in this theatre. Even when there are 13/14 years old kids alone, they laugh and they're excited, but never a distraction. Other movie-goers just want to enjoy the movies. You could literally hear a pin drop here. Great sound, good picture. Seats: Some negative reviews of other theaters have been based on "beat up" seats & I get it, but if you live in Grapevine, you know that these seats see A LOT of traffic from the community. I've run across a few -top row, center screen, that are starting to show wear, but they're always CLEAN, FUNCTIONAL & COMFORTABLE. Concession: My online concession order is ALWAYS ready on time and if I check in late, they still do not deliver until AFTER we're seated. There is a restaurant you can visit prior to the movie, that food is not delivered. That's fine. Staff: The staff is extremely laid back, they tend to be focused on your requests. This theater is upgrading! I love to come on Tuesdays when they have discounted tickets. Though, even at full price, this theater is still affordable. I came in on Tuesday and the main concession stand was under construction but the side stand was open. They are not trying to become a gastro pub like some of the other local theaters, you can still get your popcorn, nachos, and icees here. I like that. I also like not having waiters walk in front of me the entire movie. One thing that has really improved, the chairs! They recline so far you are nearly horizontal. They also have seat warmers when it is freezing cold in the theater. I grew up in Grapevine and this was my local theater. The last couple of years it was showing it's age. When we came early for the first show, we found others standing outside, uncomfortable in the chilly Fall air, waiting for fifteen minutes for the doors to open. Even if you purchased tickets in advance, kiosks can delay you if the people ahead are trying to figure out how to use their gift cards or credit cards. Been coming here for YEARS. Since I basically moved here in 2010. Has been a part of my childhood and holds so many memories. Since I have moved away from Grapevine/Southlake. I try to go over there as much as I can because personally I feel more at home and comfortable there than an other movie theater. I currently live in Mckinney, Tx. Which is a 25 min drive from the theater but it's worth it, every time. The atmosphere, food/snacks, and staff are AMAZING! The seats are comfortable and they also have a bar at concessions, which is a plus! They also have a mini arcade and a Starbucks/Ice cream parlor. Literally what else can you ask for? I remember when this place opened and didn't even have stadium seating in every auditorium, now every auditorium has heated recliners. They even have two XD auditoriums which is worth the upgrade price. If their is a movie you have to have the best presentation your still better off seeing it in I Max or Dolby Cinema. The common areas and restrooms do need a refresh. They have a bar, and several items at the snack bar in addition to popcorn like Pizza Hut express pizzas. Staff have always been friendly ! They best part of this place is their prices, you are not going to find a better value anywhere. The concessions are reasonable priced to which is always a welcoming surprise. read more

Before these incredible seats were installed, it was a theater that was like most theaters I have been in; not-so great seating, but compared to the airlines, they were not bad ;) I literally giggled with excitement when I walked in and saw how spacious the new seating is . That was BEFORE I learned of all the tricks the seats have... indefinite reclining to upright angles and a leg rest , too! The seats are great but what I have always loved MOST about this theater is that they have late morning time slots for movies. I like morning movies; you can catch a movie and still have the whole day to play.
