After dining here, I actually emailed management because I wasn't happy with the overall experience. To be fair, the food itself isn't bad, but the biggest issue is cleanliness. When we visited, it seemed very understaffed. There were only a couple of people in the kitchen and one cashier who had to take orders and also try to maintain the dining area. Still, the restaurant did not feel clean, and that really affected the experience. Some of the seating also looked worn out. One of the metal chairs appeared broken and had been taped together, which didn't feel very safe or well maintained. With so many great restaurants in the same plaza, it's hard to choose this one. Bingz Crispy Burger was opened over 10 years ago by two Chinese IT programmers in Beijing. Today Bingz has over 140 outlets in Beijing and expanding rapidly it is a global success story. I tried the Signature Pork Crispy Burger and the Liangpi noodles* with sesame and chili oil. The soft chewy tenderness of the liangpi won me over. It was heavenly. The pork burger was meh. The bun was not fresh nor crispy, it seemed like it was old and sitting under a warmer. I would've preferred the bun to be freshly made and the meat to be warmer than cold. Underwhelming but it was edible. The Crispy Burger was invented 2,000 years ago during the Qin Dynasty. I've had plenty of great 肉夹馍, Chinese burgers in my lifetime, at small food stands, restaurants and fast food places, so while Bingz a popular place in a food court for tasty food, to me Bingz falls below the mark of the smaller restaurants that put more care into getting the food quality right. read more

May 24, 2025 - I went to Bingz during their anniversary deal that was BOGO for their crispy burgers. I got an assortment of their burgers, almost one of each, and wonton soups. I really enjoyed them. Have been eating these things for years, but never heard them called burgers. I would compare them more to a pulled (insert meat) sandwich and the buns are like a cross between an english muffin and croissant. If you are okay with cilantro, I would make sure to ask for some either on top or on the side as it really help cut the oiliness of the meat. However, I wish they did a better job keeping the inside a bit cleaner as the buns tend to make tons of crumbs. The staff was wiping the tables, but the seats were a bit crummy. I have flagged heading over to Bingz Crispy Burger for a while. I didn't realize how long until I placed a takeout order and headed over to this eatery to pick it up. Bingz recently celebrated its two-year anniversary at this location. As usual, I don't hop on any bandwagon quickly. I noticed that Fantuan was offering a bit of a discount on Bingz's menu. I felt that it was time to get some takeout for dinner last week. I was in downtown Markham and placed my order there. I got the following items: - The signature sandwich and wonton soup combo - Chilli oil wontons My estimated pickup time was ten minutes. It was enough time for me to casually drive over. This eatery is at First Markham Place. It has its own main entrance, so you don't need to get lost in the mall itself. I found a parking spot fairly close to Bingz. I backed into the spot and walked in. The interior is cheerful. It's red and white, which reinforces the eatery's branding. There were many spots available to sit down and eat. Many staff members were huddled in a corner. There was a cake. It was a nice little celebration happening. I went to line up. There's one lineup to place an order. I noticed the pickup lineup and headed over there. I had the nicest woman help me. I indicated that I had a Fantuan order and rattled the number off while showing her the order on my app. She nodded and found my paper bag to her left. She handed my bag over and wished me a great day. I reciprocated and happily left with my grub. When I got home, I unpacked everything out of my paper bag and chowed down. I started with the wonton soup. I loved the broth. It wasn't salty, but was mild in flavour. It was perfect because the small pork wontons packed more flavour and were delicious. I also loved the scallions and wood ear. I'd get this soup again. The signature pork sandwich wowed me. The flakiness of Bingz's version of the bun was awesome. It was crispy and so good. The pork was well-seasoned and juicy. So good! I am still dreaming about getting this sandwich again. I perhaps went overboard with the wontons. I got the chilli oil wontons. They were awesome. The chilli oil isn't burn-your-tongue-off hot. There is some heat at first. However, it's more flavourful than spicy. I loved it. The pork wontons were yummy just like those in my soup. Stopped by to see what all the buzz was about! The restaurant was super well lit and decorated with extensive seating. It's located in a large plaza but finding parking wasn't too difficult on weekday evening. I got The Signature which came out piping hot and fresh. The meat filling was tender and juicy but not too seasoned. I enjoyed the bing with vinegar and soy sauce which was a good contrast to the richness of the bing. I imagine this is what happens when you take chinese food and give it the In N Out treatment. You get a bright modern red and white space that serves noodles as fast food. Instead of hamburgers, you get a crispy bun stuffed with meat and instead of fries you get some chili oil noodles. We came during a slight rush of people, so had to wait 10 minutes for our food. They have a ticketing system and a tracker board so you can ensure you don't miss your order. The signature beef bun was really good. Light and crispy on the outside but stuffed full with beef. There were previous complaints about it being dry, but ours was moist and had very good flavor. The chili noodles unfortunately tasted mostly of oil and without much flavor. I've probably come here way too many times, it's just so good! The restaurant is large and spacious, lots of seating and they have staff come around to clean tables quite often. You have the options of ordering via website (scan QR code) or at the counter. You can expect about 5-10 mins wait for your food during peak hours, but food comes out pretty fast off-peak. As for the food, burgers are just amazingly crispy every time, and actually retains the crisp even when you leave it overnight. The basics are defiantly nice staples, but I definitely recommend upgrading to their not-so-basic flavours, as the fillings have more sauce and therefore a bit less dry-feeling. All their side dishes are also winners, they're great simple pairings and I'd definitely recommend you give the savory tofu a try! The spicy version is not very spicy at all, but packed full of savory flavour! Their HK milk tea is a surprisingly good too! It's a very well-rounded milk tea that isn't overly bitter if you're not into that. I think overall, the palette has definitely been made to have wider appeal, as nothing is overly spicy or strong. Roujiamo , liangpi, etc are tranditional food in Xi-An, China. Roujiamo is the right name for Crispy Burger, which means Meat in Bun. The Roujiamo provided by this restaurant was legit and I liked it. LianPi is different from what I thought. I expected it would be softer but it wasn't. Plus, it was very spicy, be careful! The best item for me was the warm soy silk. It was not too sweet and have full of the aroma of soybeans. It would be heartwarming when having it in winter. Was wondering around and saw this store front so I decided to just give it a try. They had a quick QR code scan/order system but since there wasn't a line I opted to order with a human. Went with A7,sizzling chili noodles with the signature bun along with another signature and cumin pork. These Chinese hamburger were definitely different from many of the ones I've had. There was so much hype about Bingz and I've been meaning to try it out for awhile . I really wanted to like it here but definitely was a bit of a let down . I got the chance to visit Bingz and try my very first crispy burger. This location is super cool and modern inside, now that dining in is open it was busy! I tried the new beef signature burger and the spicy fries for my first experience. Crispy burgers are awesome! They remind me of a Jamaican patty but in a firm croissant. I loved it, and will be going back next week to try the Signature pork. The fries were crispy coated, and they give you a container of spices to shake on them. They were excellent! Surprisingly really good! I was a little skeptical at first but after trying it is actually pretty good. I ordered the sesame sauce liangpi noodles and wontons. As someone who can't take spice, I was intimidated by how the wontons looked but it's actually not too spicy! The flavour is really nice. I also really enjoyed the liangpi noodles. This restaurant introduced the "Chinese Hamburger" in a crispy bun to Toronto back in 2021-05-23 (soft opening). Very tasty indeed! Plus they have a wide variety of appetizers. Service is fast and friendly. Our first visit was in May 2021 (takeout only at that time) and this visit was on 2021-10-03 (indoor dining was available this time so we took advantage of it). The two owners are from China. The brand was founded in Beijing on 2014-04-08, and now has over 65 locations in Beijing. The Chinese Hamburger is called Rou Jia Mo (肉夹馍) in Chinese, which literally translates to "meat in a bun". It is the cuisine of China's Shaanxi province, which has the capital city of Xi'An (or Xian), where you find the terracotta warriors. For Chinese hamburgers, there are two types of buns: crispy and non-crispy. Most restaurants use the non-crispy buns but Bingz is the only restaurant in the GTA that uses the baked crispy buns. This restaurant has 6 preset combos of a main, appetizer, and drink, priced $13.09, $13.29, and $17.19. Drinks can be upgraded for a little extra cost. However, my wife and I decided to choose our own items. Sometimes they run out of certain items. I actually wanted the Mushroom Burger ($5.49) but they ran out. So I selected their The Signature burger ($5.99) instead; it has shredded inside. Never a bad choice. I've been here once before and had their Black Pepper Beef burger ($6.69) which is also a good choice if you like black pepper, which I do. My wife ordered the Cumin Pork burger ($5.49). She still loves The Signature burger the best of 3 different burgers she has ever tried. For the appetizer, I chose Savoury Tofu Pudding (non-spicy version) ($5.99). I've always loved anything with tofu and this was quite good. My wife chose Chilli Oil Wonton ($6.59) and she really loved it. A friend chose Hot & Sour Glass Noodle ($6.69) and liked the spiciness. Normally the noodles used are round but these ones are spiral so that it captures some sauce as you eat it. Interesting idea. For a drink, I chose the Ice Peak ($3.99) which is a very popular orange-flavoured pop from Xian. It is flown directly from Xian to Toronto, which explains why it costs $3.99! My wife chose the Plum Cold Brew ($3.49) which is their signature drink. She really liked it the first time we came to this restaurant but this time she thought it was sweeter than she remembered.  My friend really liked it. The decor is bright, minimalist and uses the colour scheme of red and white. Red is a popular colour among Chinese, symbolizing luck, joy, and happiness. White represents purity and innocence. There are 3 large teddy bears wearing Bingz shirts that can be used as photo props. During pandemic times, staff wear masks. There is plexiglass at the order and pickup counters. There is a large waiting area for customers to wait while their order is being prepared. Indoor dining is available with tables at least 2 metres apart. Tables are washed after a customer leaves. There is free WiFi. The restaurant is wheelchair accessible.  There are 2 gender-neutral washrooms but they are not wheelchair accessible. I was invited to join a friend, Wendy, for a quick bite at Bingz. I've heard of it but had no idea what to expect. She had already ordered by the time I got there so I was along for the ride. It was a good ride! We had two of their burgers, The Signature and the BBQ Mushroom Burger. These are not your typical looking burgers and definitely not your typical ingredients. The buns are certainly unique and instead of a burger patty, the ingredients are loose, more like a sandwich. They were both delicious, with my preference being the BBQ Mushroom Burger. We also had the Liangpi, a fresh cold noodle dish with sesame sauce and the Wontons with Chili Oil. The noodles were really good but the wontons were my preferred choice. After one bite of Bingz Crispy Burger, I was already anticipating my next visit back. The Signature original roujiamo contains a classic pork filling with 32 types of spices & seasonings. While subtle at first, each chew released more umami flavour from the stewed pork. Hugged within a flakey baked crispy bun, it was a winning combo that you can hear & taste in each bite. Chilli Oil Wontons were small but fragrant without a ton of heavy hitting spice; it was enjoyable for the whole fam despite their low spice tolerance. Liangpi Noodles with Sesame Sauce was a light contrast with crunchy cucumber & gluten cubes. A pleasant late lunch snack highlighted by the crispy Chinese burgers. It's neat that Bingz was founded 7 years ago by two IT workers in Beijing. Their true calling was western Chinese cuisine, and the rest is history. Finally trying Bingz after hearing all about it! I really liked the crispy and flaky pastry they use as the bun. Definitely a crispy burger. I got the Signature Beef burger and was it overall good but could've had more flavour. The Rockin' fries are like shake shake fries where you put in the spices and shake the bag to mix it all up. There's a sense of modernism when you walk into bingz's shiny interior made up of bold colours and brightly lit. The menu isn't overly complicated. There is a selection of combos preconfigured with a burger, a side, and a drink; or you can pick and choose from the menu as you wish. A shout-out to the staff behind the counter. They were super helpful with the menu, and had no problem accommodating my choices. Given that it was my first time trying it, I had to try their signature burger, because they named it so. I had the liangpi sesame noodles on the side, and the plum cold brew to drink. I enjoyed the whole meal. Let me break it down for you. The bun was made up of a warm crispy-on-the-outside bread that reminded me of a parata. Needless to say, it is best enjoyed hot and fresh, when it is still crispy. The meat in the signature is lightly seasoned, done kind of like shawarma, with some darkened edges that pack extra flavour. With the sesame sauce and chilli oil mixed into the liangpi noodles, it turns into something quite magical. For a side dish, it took a leading role in the meal for me and was highly satisfying. The plum cold brew paired really well with all of it, as well. I was sincerely gratified. China, being so big, has so much in the way of food. I think it is smart that they've decided to focus on a local favourite and specialize in it. The simplicity of the menu makes it approachable for a wider audience and the reference point of a burger makes it recognizable to everyone. Took me awhile to finally try out this place without the line up! I got the Signature Burger and Sesame Noodles. The signature burger was crispy and tasted flavourful however I would have liked it if it was spicier. The texture of the noodles were different; nothing like I imagined it to be and I really liked it. I did notice that too much of the sesame dressing made the overall meal taste a tad bitter but nonetheless I still really enjoyed it. Overhyped; wouldn't come here again. In terms of the taste, the food LOOKS very flavourful because of the red chili oil but there isn't much taste to it. The overall portion size is okay but individually, it wasn't worth it. I've never seen such tiny wontons before. The photo of the Crispy Burger showed a lot of meat but there was barely any. They definitely cheaped out on this. It was mostly carrot and green pepper. I did enjoy the texture of the Liangpi but again, I wish it was more flavourful. First time trying the crispy burgers. The resto was celebrating their one year anniversary. The burger was $1.99 We ordered the black pepper and signature ( which was pork). I really enjoyed the "bun" of the burger which tasted like the green onion pancake (without the green onion) that you get from Shanghai restaurant. It was crispy and had a nice texture. The burgers were okay. Nothing too exciting. We also ordered the wonton with chili sauce. This dish was disappointing. The food was cold. The fires with spicy powder was pretty good. Again, the food wasn't hot enough. It was room temperature. In terms of drinks we ordered pop, non-GMO soy milk and green matcha tea which was just a teabag. The service was fairly slow and they seem to get the orders mixed up. Overall, it was an okay experience. read more

Not bad! They've been open for a while now but due to the lines, I never went. Happen to be in the area today and saw there was no line so we gave it a try. It's very much like a Chinese McDonald style fast food. The burgers are definitely crispy and meat is quite nice. Well seasoned and the meat was tender/moist. Very packed! Combos include different things (some come with a cold noodles, some with tofu pudding). I wish the combos could be customized (ie pick your burger and sides). There wasn't such an option for us but that's ok. We got the pork cumin combo (a6) and it came with a cold noodles. We liked the cucumber mixed with it cause it made it very refreshing. It comes with a packet of chili oil and a container of a sort of peanut sauce. Delish! I was not a fan of the bread pieces though so we ate around that . I ordered the black pepper beef crispy sandwich. It was very peppery and I really like the texture of the crispy bun with the warm yummy chunks of beef. Not overly salty at all. read more
