Liangpi with sesame and chili oil *
    Imelda M.

Bingz Crispy Burger was opened over 10 years ago by two Chinese IT programmers in Beijing. Today Bingz has over 140 outlets in Beijing and expanding rapidly it is a global success story. I tried the Signature Pork Crispy Burger and the Liangpi noodles* with sesame and chili oil. The soft chewy tenderness of the liangpi won me over. It was heavenly. The pork burger was meh. The bun was not fresh nor crispy, it seemed like it was old and sitting under a warmer. I would've preferred the bun to be freshly made and the meat to be warmer than cold. Underwhelming but it was edible. The Crispy Burger was invented 2,000 years ago during the Qin Dynasty. I've had plenty of great 肉夹馍, Chinese burgers in my lifetime, at small food stands, restaurants and fast food places, so while Bingz a popular place in a food court for tasty food, to me Bingz falls below the mark of the smaller restaurants that put more care into getting the food quality right.

May 24, 2025 - I went to Bingz during their anniversary deal that was BOGO for their crispy burgers. I got an assortment of their burgers, almost one of each, and wonton soups. I really enjoyed them. Very crispy breading and a generous amount of filling. My favourites were probably the black pepper beef and BBQ mushroom.

I was in the area with my kids and noticed they were offering free pumpkin cake pops as a Halloween event so we were able to get some. The cake pops were hot when we got them. They were very tasty, my kids loved them. I had also tried their burgers before and they were delicious.

The pork, and beef ones are SUPER packed with flavor! Don't miss out on their chicken nuggets too because they are extremely crispy on the outside, but they remain nice, and juicy on the inside :D Their poutine is a little salty for my liking but still overall tasty. As I only got takeout, I can't really comment on their ambiance but everything was packed well

Heard about this place on social media and decided to check it out. Mall location in First Markham Place. Food (3.75/5) - the signature crispy burger is the staple. It's not bad... pork was cooked nicely and taste was not bad. Wasn't as keen on the flaky bun part. It's a novelty and gets stuck in your teeth easily! - smokin hot fries were quite good... good spice and flavour which you can control on your own. - side wonton soup was really weak... bland and small pieces Service (4/5) - friendly and reasonable turnaround Atmosphere (3.5/5) - pretty basic like any other quick service restaurant setup. Overall (3.75/5) - it's worth trying out to see what it's all about. Personally I prefer Hong Bo Burger inside the mall.

I have flagged heading over to Bingz Crispy Burger for a while. I didn't realize how long until I placed a takeout order and headed over to this eatery to pick it up. Bingz recently celebrated its two-year anniversary at this location. As usual, I don't hop on any bandwagon quickly. I noticed that Fantuan was offering a bit of a discount on Bingz's menu. I felt that it was time to get some takeout for dinner last week. I was in downtown Markham and placed my order there. I got the following items: - The signature sandwich and wonton soup combo - Chilli oil wontons My estimated pickup time was ten minutes. It was enough time for me to casually drive over. This eatery is at First Markham Place. It has its own main entrance, so you don't need to get lost in the mall itself. I found a parking spot fairly close to Bingz. I backed into the spot and walked in. The interior is cheerful. It's red and white, which reinforces the eatery's branding. There were many spots available to sit down and eat. Many staff members were huddled in a corner. There was a cake. It was a nice little celebration happening. I went to line up. There's one lineup to place an order. I noticed the pickup lineup and headed over there. I had the nicest woman help me. I indicated that I had a Fantuan order and rattled the number off while showing her the order on my app. She nodded and found my paper bag to her left. She handed my bag over and wished me a great day. I reciprocated and happily left with my grub. When I got home, I unpacked everything out of my paper bag and chowed down. I started with the wonton soup. I loved the broth. It wasn't salty, but was mild in flavour. It was perfect because the small pork wontons packed more flavour and were delicious. I also loved the scallions and wood ear. I'd get this soup again. The signature pork sandwich wowed me. The flakiness of Bingz's version of the bun was awesome. It was crispy and so good. The pork was well-seasoned and juicy. So good! I am still dreaming about getting this sandwich again. I perhaps went overboard with the wontons. I got the chilli oil wontons. They were awesome. The chilli oil isn't burn-your-tongue-off hot. There is some heat at first. However, it's more flavourful than spicy. I loved it. The pork wontons were yummy just like those in my soup. I didn't feel like I had overdosed on wontons. I'd do it again in a heartbeat. I'm not sure why it took me so long to try Bingz's food. I'm so glad that I finally did. Everything that I ate was delicious. I can't wait to head back for more good eats. (167)

Stopped by to see what all the buzz was about! The restaurant was super well lit and decorated with extensive seating. It's located in a large plaza but finding parking wasn't too difficult on weekday evening. I got The Signature which came out piping hot and fresh. The meat filling was tender and juicy but not too seasoned. I enjoyed the bing with vinegar and soy sauce which was a good contrast to the richness of the bing. The plum cold brew tasted great with the right amount of tang and herbal notes. It was not too sweet which is always appreciated. Overall, great concept and tasty food! They offered me a free item if I posted a 5 star review on google at the check out counter (before I heven received or tasted the food) which makes me feel a bit uncomfortable (hence, -1 star)

Came in on a Sunday at 6:11pm and ordered a signature pork crispy burger and a beef poutine. It was ready by 6:18pm, which is pretty fast. I've had the black pepper beef before and I think now I like that much better than the pork. It's just a different flavor due to the seasonings. Still loving the flaky and crispy bun. The beef poutine was large. Definitely shareable. Lots of meat, gravy and cheese curds over fries. On my next visit I have to try their noodle dishes.

This restaurant is pretty busy during lunch hours Ordered an A3 from the menu Signature burger combo with drink and Liangpi with sesame sauce also for extra $5.99 added a spicy nugget Service is pretty quick, they packed everything and call out the number Seating is casual with a drop off counter for trays and there's a staff to clean table afterwards Located at First Markham Place, lots of parking

    Red and white modern space

I imagine this is what happens when you take chinese food and give it the In N Out treatment. You get a bright modern red and white space that serves noodles as fast food. Instead of hamburgers, you get a crispy bun stuffed with meat and instead of fries you get some chili oil noodles. We came during a slight rush of people, so had to wait 10 minutes for our food. They have a ticketing system and a tracker board so you can ensure you don't miss your order. The signature beef bun was really good. Light and crispy on the outside but stuffed full with beef. There were previous complaints about it being dry, but ours was moist and had very good flavor. The chili noodles unfortunately tasted mostly of oil and without much flavor. I liked the texture of the noodles, but with so much clili oil I would have expected some kick.

I've probably come here way too many times, it's just so good! The restaurant is large and spacious, lots of seating and they have staff come around to clean tables quite often. You have the options of ordering via website (scan QR code) or at the counter. You can expect about 5-10 mins wait for your food during peak hours, but food comes out pretty fast off-peak. As for the food, burgers are just amazingly crispy every time, and actually retains the crisp even when you leave it overnight. The basics are defiantly nice staples, but I definitely recommend upgrading to their not-so-basic flavours, as the fillings have more sauce and therefore a bit less dry-feeling. All their side dishes are also winners, they're great simple pairings and I'd definitely recommend you give the savory tofu a try! The spicy version is not very spicy at all, but packed full of savory flavour! Their HK milk tea is a surprisingly good too! It's a very well-rounded milk tea that isn't overly bitter if you're not into that. I think overall, the palette has definitely been made to have wider appeal, as nothing is overly spicy or strong. I strongly recommend anyone coming to try this, the burgers are great and an easy choice for anyone who wants to dip their toes into northern style Chinese food.

Intelligent service (yelp) say this place is highly recommended. So we came by to try it. Busy! Glad we ordered online. Non-stop flow of people. Ordered: signature beef: #3 favorite. this is the recommended item on the menu. very light and flaky crust. but beef is BIT dry (not juicy as i hope). But it has good flavor though. wonton soup: my #2 favorite. i'm NOT big fan of wonton soup. never like it in any reataurant. but thought to give it a try based on yelper's review. whoa....love it!!! it actually taste homey. it also gives me inspiration to cook it at home (comfort food). the chicken broth has seaweed, egg, and goji berry. goji berry really makes the difference. it gives that subtle sweetness. overall very good combination of flavour (umami, sweet, light broth) fried chicken: least favorite. nth special. but its good to mix it with the dried chili seasoning. ordered it bc it's recommended item on the menu. red date soy milk:my #1 favorite!! this is my 2nd time coming here. but dont remember which 'pastry' i ordered on my 1st visit. however, what makes me come back is the red date soy milk!! now what makes me go back is red date soy milk PLUS wonton soup...(and might as well try other 'signature' dish). cheers!

Place was nice inside and a step up from regular fast food joints. We ordered: - a bacon cheeseburger - a cheeseburger - a little bacon cheeseburger - poutine - an order of regular fries While we waited we grabbed some of the free peanuts and ate them. Be careful if you have kids with allergies because there's probably peanut dust all over the place. The burgers were a good size. The regulars have two patties while the little ones have just one beef patty. The fries were hot and fresh. We got some of the Cajun spice on the side so we were able to try it with and without. I prefer it without the Cajun spice. The poutine was good, although it could use a bit more cheese and gravy. We were gonna get a shake after we ate but we were so stuffed. We'll have to go back and try all the crazy shakes that they have. I ordered the burger "all the way," which is ketchup, mayo, mustard, lettuce, tomato, pickles, grilled onions, and grilled mushrooms, and I got some jalapenos on the side. But you can choose your own toppings. Service was fast and lots of parking in the plaza. Overall really good experience, would probably go back, definitely gonna try the milkshakes next time and save space.

I usually get a double patty with sautéed mushrooms, though the mushrooms do make the bun a tad soggy. There is no combo meal here, all items are separately sold, even for fries and drinks. I found 6ix Burgers offering various BOGO deals on burgers. I got the Argonauts burger combo. The Argos burger is indeed named after the Canadian Football League's team in Toronto. It consists of a beef patty stuffed with cheese. You select all topics you want to your heart's content. The combo defaults to fries and a drink. You can swap out the fries for other sides, such as mac and cheese, and jalapenos poppers. This place names its burgers after familiar Toronto sports teams, streets, highways, and landmarks. For instance, there's a DVP sandwich, which is a sunny-side-up egg and beef bacon with cheese. It's named after the Don Valley Parkway, a highway that is commonly known as the Don Valley parking lot because it's so congested with cars at a standstill during rush hour. Maybe it's not the best to name an item after the DVP. I'd still get this sandwich, though. I love bacon and an egg as a sandwich and more. I scheduled my food for pickup between 4 pm and 4:30 pm. I placed my order in Stouffville. It was ready just before 4 pm. Um, okay. This place is more than punctual! It made me run ten minutes late getting down to Markham. 6ix Burgers is in a plaza that I used to frequent often perhaps over a decade ago. It is located where Burger Factory used to be. I'm a bit sad that it closed. I never dropped by and I wish that I had. The Burger Factory that I go to the most is by my workplace in Mississauga. Despite the huge mounds of snow in the parking lot, I found a parking spot fairly close to the eatery and backed into it. I then walked into the place. There were to people sitting in a booth, waiting for their food. It was a good sign. I walked up to the counter, stated my name, and said that I had an Uber Eats order. The nice woman handed me a bag with a paper bag in it. She let me know that my food was in this bag and I could help myself to a couple of drinks in the fridge. I thanked her and wished her a good day. There was Barbican bottles in the fridge. I had specified Diet Coke and felt that it works best with burgers, so I got that instead. The Diet Coke was at the bottom. It's the perfect height for toddlers, but not for me! Anyway, I grabbed my drinks and placed them in my bag of food. I drove home for a super late lunch at practically 5 pm. I was ready for grub. Let's start with the fries. Although they looked limp and needed some sort of fries ressusitation, they were good. They had the right amount of seasoning. They were slightly crispy and limp, but creamy on the inside. I normally don't dig fries, but these were so good with the salt that I ate them without the ketchup that was in the bag. The Argos burger. If you like Burger Factory, think of this burger as the Juicy Lucy. The burger has cheddar cheese stuffed in it. You take a bite and the cheese oozes out. Highly delightful, yet messy, to eat. The beef was seasoned well. I got 6ix sauce, ketchup, mayo, lettuce, tomatoes, and relish on my burger. I loved everything about it. The bun was soft and perfect to hold everything inside. Yum! I wish that I had added beef bacon, but this burger certainly hit the spot. All items on the menu are halal. This place was a great find. I hope to try the mac and cheese bites, or even mac and cheese as a side next time. I'm a fan. (51)

It's…read morereally gone downhill - maybe a change in staff/chef, but the food just isn't the same anymore. We used to love getting their Mac and cheese mutton rolls - they used to be so flavourful and a great fusion short eat. We were in the area and got their Mac n Cheese Mutton Rolls as well as their Butter Chicken Rolls and I can't express how disappointed we were. The Mac n Cheese Mutton rolls were underwhelming - it was as though they just added macaroni pasta to the mutton curry filling. It wasn't cheesy/creamy like it used to be. The filling was also underseasoned - missing salt, just not flavourful at all. The butter chicken roll was okay, again underseasoned. For $2.50 a roll, I expected a LOT better. We also got the Chicken Briyani. It didn't come with all the fixings like the Briyanis used to - no boiled egg, no fish cutlet. The rice was bland - almost like it was just rice and turmeric. The chicken curry was underseasoned like the rolls, not enough salt or flavour. The tandoori chicken leg was the only decent thing from this meal. The meal was disappointing, I regret buying it. Lastly, we got the viral banana pudding. I fell in looooove with banana pudding since I first had it from Confused Kitchen. This time, it wasn't bad but it wasn't the same. There weren't enough vaippan pieces and it wasn't as creamy as when it first came out. Again, I think they may have changed chefs because it's very obvious that the quality of food isn't the same as it used to be. I want to be able to give it another chance but I don't see myself coming back anytime soon.
