The lunch special can't be beat! Food is always fresh, perfect size and delicious! The V 8 has been my favorite for decades!

Hubby and I wanted Pho on this rainy day, decided to swing by for lunch. They do have a very cheap lunch options til 230pm. We both got the beef Pho, only came with about 4 pieces of beef and a side of veggies for each person. The lunch special comes with a fresh spring roll or fried egg roll. The spring roll was a little chewy for me, usually the texture isn't like that. Couldn't eat the ends part at all. Peanuts sauce is ok. I also ordered lunch shrimp fried rice for later( hopefully it's good).... The place was kinda dirty and some of the table covering need to be replaced like soon. Pho was pretty good for the price of 6.95. Service is pretty quick and you seat yourself when walking in. It's pretty average Vietnamese place for me compare to other places I've been. read more

I'm giving 3 stars because the poor waiter was the only one here attempting to operate the checkout counter and wait on every table in the restaurant. I could tell that he was very frustrated and stressed out. When we first walked in, no one was there to greet us, and we seated ourselves. It probably took 10-15 mins for him to get to us and maybe 30 mins to finally get our food. The food itself was actually really good, but served in child's portions. I got beef with lemongrass which wasn't really expensive, just a very small portion. With so many great reviews, I feel like this was a off day, possibly employees called in sick. So I may give it another visit later. read more

Lunch specials galore!!!! Choose the dish and it comes with soup,egg roll or salad. All of these dishes price range was from $6 to 8 dollars!! The quality is good and yummy. There's a lot of seating and service is fast. The chicken with ginger stir fry was good for this cold day. The heat from the ginger warms the body! The banh mi was ok only because I didn't get no pate. Bun Bo hue broth was good and hearty. Chicken wing was sweet and hot. Pro tip add some of the chilli oil on it. Have fun eating! read more

I've been driving by this place for years and have stayed true to my usual pho place and never tried this. Until recently. I am glad I did. It was so affordable. $6.75 for many specials. I got the chicken pho and the tofu fresh roll. The chicken is shredded which is different than what I'm used to and I liked it better. The fresh roll was too minty for me. The service was good. Our server was so polite. The menu can be overwhelming but they give you time to look it over. It has a lot of Vietnamese selections along with Hibachi choices. I ordered the shrimp vermicelli without peanuts. Our drinks were served right away. The fresh lemonade is sooooo good! She gave me an extra water. I should have asked but I don't think you get refills on the lemonade. It came in a to-go cup. All of the ingredients tasted amazingly fresh. The shrimp were tender and the sauce was gave the dish exactly the right amount of flavor. There is plenty of seating. There isn't much parking in the lot and it shares the spaces with other businesses. I assume on busier times, you may have to park on the street. I didn't check to see if they have parking behind the building. Take your friends and go! This place is so good. I am adding this to my rotation. read more

I don't have much to say about this place other than, please go check them out! The broth for their pho, TOP NOTCH! It was so good, I literally could drink the broth by itself. So full of flavor! The beef was a little tougher than I wound like, so maybe I can ask for rare beef on the side & let it that delicious broth cook it. The Bánh xèo (Vietnamese crepe) was PERFECT! I loved my experience here. You can tell this is a family owned and run restaurant. The food was amazing home-cooked. The pho was some of the best I've ever had. My kids had hibachi. My cousin & I ate here for lunch & it was average. The great thing about Binh Minh is that their lunch special is very affordable (under $10). We ordered the beef pho, bun bo hue, & fresh shrimp roll. The flavor of my pho was sadly bland. Before adding any sauces I tried the pho broth & at first it was fine but then pretty much it was watered down. I ended up finishing it since the bowl was a decent portion & added some sauces to boost some flavor. My cousin said it was the same for her bun bo hue & just added tons of chili oil to it. Both of our noodle soup came w/ veggie eggrolls and they were fine; It was good and crispy. In addition, our server was just ok. We understood that he was the only server serving us & a few other tables but we had some slight miscommunication. My visit to Binh Minh was a bit of a happy accident. A lot of places here in town restaurant wise are closed on a Monday, and I went out in search of a bowl of Pho at my usual place up the street and around the corner, only to remember as I pulled up to a dark restaurant that they close on Mondays. Since I was already in the area, and really wanted some Pho, I remembered this small place in a tiny strip mall sandwiched between two newly renovated places on each end, Garage Tavern and Tavern Pizzeria. If there is a major downside to this place... it could definitely use a bit of renovation and deep cleaning. That said, did I feel unsafe eating there, or was there any direct evidence of food safety issues? No. It just feels old and in need of a face lift. Getting past that, I took a seat and was helped by a very friendly young server. I had some questions about their Pho, I was looking for something easy to chew meat wise, and she went back to the kitchen for a recommendation. She suggested the roast pork and wonton pho, and that's what I went with, along with an order of fresh spring rolls. My spring rolls came out quickly and they were really good, and well priced. I also liked the peanut sauce they came with and added just a touch of hoisin sauce to the mix. My bowl of Pho came out and it was the perfect size and a little cheaper than my usual place. There was also a generous amount of pork and wonton present. I'd say taste wise, I didn't find it quite as herby as I normally like, but after adding some of the herbs given with it and a little jalapeno to marinate in there, it was pretty good. I ate the whole thing happily. Four stars only because it could really use a facelift, and ultimately, it wasn't quite as good as PHV up the road, but I could see myself switching things up time to time to support these nice people here. Unbelievably underrated still. I'm looking forward and dreading the day when the entirety of Greensboro realizes that they've been sleeping on Binh Minh. I came here with friends who also thoroughly enjoyed the noodle soups and fresh rolls. I always get the bun bo hue because how can you not? The broth is incredibly, it can be spicy if you eat the jalepenos, which add a wonderful flavor even if you don't eat them, and plentiful toppings of beef and pork. It's a hefty portion! read more

I was surprised when I entered. I expected a takeout counter and a couple of tables if you must eat there. It was actually a full service restaurant with slightly dated decor. A friend recommended this place recently because he does takeout deliveries and said that the people who own the place are really nice. I do have a go-to spot in town for pho, but it was nice to branch out and try something new, especially because my usual spot is always really busy and we were able to get seated immediately here. The space itself is quite large, definitely a good choice for a group. We were placed at a round table in the back, which was spacious enough for our group of five and nice and private. I ordered beef pho which was very good. The portion size was generous and the price was really reasonable. I would definitely come back to try some of their other dishes. read more

This is my third time getting food from Binh Minh but my first time trying their lunch specials. The lunch specials each come with either an egg roll or salad. I opted for the egg roll which I found to be really good. Wish I ordered like 10 of those suckers! For the entree, I got the Bulgogi Beef and although flavorful, I wish there was a little more that came with it. There was barely any meat and more vegetables for its portion. Their Bun Bo Hue however was a nice portion! It came with a lot o broth and fresh veggies as the side. Also tried their Viet coffee and Thai Tea, both were really delicious! read more

Setting the scene: A stormy, Monday afternoon around 6pm and the place isn't ridiculously busy. A table of five, and three tables of two (including my us). Bihn Mihn was our second Pho choice in Greensboro (our Yelp-led first was closed). This was my first pho experience. Our table had two orders of the chicken pho. The place was moving slower than we'd like. A couple walked in, and walked out after waiting a few minutes to be seated without anyone around to seat them. It took about an hour to get our dinner. I'd call it a decent introduction for me, but my pho-experienced girlfriend rated it super bland. I admit, the broth wasn't as seasoned as I had hoped, and the chicken itself seemed like it led a depressed life (RIP). Unfortunately for us, we had a live show to get to soon after, so we had to chug as fast as we could without completely obliterating our tongues. Ouch. Regardless, the servers were super friendly and helpful, getting us the check asap and running back and forth from order to order. I would definitely say to give them a try, just make sure you have plenty of time or a tongue of steel. read more

This was not a good experience for us everything was way too sweet. The peanut sauce for the fresh rolls was very sweet inedible the Bahn Mi was totally gross not sure what meat they used tasted like sliced up hot dogs. The red sauce for the crab Rangoon was like candy. my chicken basil dish was delicious! My husband and I ordered take out from here for the first time ever. The food was excellent. In addition it was quick and on time. I had chicken hibachi and my husband had a garlic pork dish. The ambiance is really lacking in my opinion but I've been impressed by their food. I find their service to be pretty lackluster but it's not an issue for me. I got the Bun Bo Hue on my last visit. I made it during time for lunch specials. I then ordered a combination ban mi.. the meat was dry I had to ask for extra vegetables and she charged me $1.00. She also charged me 25 cent each for siracha ,soy sauce and red pepper sauce.The ban no was a "mini" sandwich.There wasn't enough vegetables to go in my combination pho either.I asked for extra Jalepenos- there were only 3 slices- as if I didn't ask.THEEEEEEN it to 45 minutes for my to go order. Fabulous food, experience, & service. The server even wrote me a sweet (translated) note explaining the differences in food flavors. I tried several items and all were authentic, full of flavor and very fresh! There is one negative--At the time there were very few customers in the restaurant and the television was blaring something I really didn't care to watch. I don't care to watch much of anything especially while eating, so consider this extreme bias! I wish proprietors would take a minute to either ask their customers if the content is pleasing or. Simply turn it down until volume is needed. It's not like this is a sports bar or location where television is in line with the theme! I would have preferred something specific to the culture of the restaurant, a music channel or even the news close captioned. I suppose this is a topic that could also open a can of worms as even news outlets are considered politically biased and offensive. read more
