This trip was on a late Saturday afternoon, and my husband and I were literally the only guests in the establishment dining in. Several people did come in to pick up to go orders. The dining area probably could use a little bit of spruce up and definitely could use a good cleaning. We were quickly served after being seated, given menus and water. I recently visited and offered take out for me and a coworker. The restaurant was nice enough. The workers helped me and I was in and out. Placed the order via phone. I was not impressed. I've had a lot of pho. The meat was extremely dry and thick. The broth wasn't flavorful. There were barely any toppings. The noodles were so still even after pouring the broth over them it didn't seem they were soaked prior to but if I'm getting pho takeout I've always had them pre soaked. It's been years since my last visit, but I decided to give this spot another shot after a previous bad experience--and I'm so glad I did! The improvement is tremendous. I ordered the medium bowl, which was the perfect size, and the broth was incredibly clear with a lovely sweet, herby finish. The meat was tender and high-quality, but the perfectly blanched noodles and tendon were the absolute stars of the show. First we were welcomed so kindly! We showed up at 10:30 though they open at 11 the guy opened the door for us which was very kind! He was quick to get us situated with menus and seated. He was attentive through the time we were there. The food itself was great you can tell they know what they're doing. The broth in my pho dac biet was a perfect balance for me! While it wasn't my dish I did try the other soup Bun Bo hue and it was great! It was spicy but not overwhelmingly where you don't get flavor. And let me tell you I LOVED the shrimp fried spring rolls! Top down my favorite! The way the shrimp was cooked and or seasoned was the highlight of the spring roll. We visited here many years ago when staying in Greensboro and my daughter loved the name so much she even took a photo of their menu. We were in town again recently and came here before a performance at the Greensboro Coliseum. It was a little quiet on a late Friday afternoon but then started filling up. Our server was very nice and kept apologizing for the delay in taking our order even though it seemed they have a very small staff. Both the pho ga and pho tai that we had were delicious and we also enjoyed the fried egg rolls. Decor is nothing fancy but that's not why you go to a pho joint. As with similar places, you can walk up to the counter and pay when you are done. All in all, a nice small restaurant with good Vietnamese food. read more

Service was amazing, our server had several tables full of people and was very attentive to everyone's needs while running food, bussing the tables and taking calls. I got the seafood pho and it was absolutely delicious. The restaurant looks smaller on the outside but actually had a lot of room inside and nice seating. When did an Asian restaurant start selling thin spaghetti as Asian noodles? I don't know either but I found out at I love PHO on High Point Rd.What disappointment! If you want to eat thin spaghetti noodles then this is the place that you would want to go if you're looking for real Asian noodles, this is not the place to go. I am Asian myself and what a surprise to see Spaghetti noodles as an "substitution " for Asian noodles.. but why? My mouth dropped on the floor and I was so overwhelmed that I could not even ask the waitress did she bring me the correct order? Also ordered the Vietnamese spring rolls and the fried egg rolls.. . neither one had any flavor or at least what you would expect from a Vietnamese spring roll and a well made egg roll. Not sure what the filling inside of the fried egg roll was it was just mushy. The spring roll did not have any mint or carrots which are traditional ingredients in Vietnamese spring rolls. The broth here is made fresh and has flavor and it's not watered down at all. I got the rare beef pho and added some herbs and chili oil and ate the whole thing. This place is a pretty good spot for some quick pho! One of the nice things about I love Pho is that they offer their bowls in various sizes to meet the hunger needs of the person ordering, and even the cheaper small size is still a good value. Everything about your bowl can be adjusted as well, want some more heat? Just let them know and they can make it HOT! On the downside, in my experience, the meat portions are a little small and in the non lean cuts fairly gristly. This does add to the flavor of the broth nicely, but when eating, things can get a little ugly. Definitely not a place to take a date if you plan on ordering a non lean meat! The inside of the restaurant is very bare bones and dated, but again, for a no frills kind of spot with pretty good food, there are certainly worse places to go. Best pho in the area! One of the only places that serves the flank steak thinly sliced and rare. Broth is excellent. You can order a small, medium or large bowl, which is nice. It's a bit of a hole in the wall but everything looked clean. Pho does not travel well in my opinion so I would recommend eating it here. Was passing through on a road trip and haven't had Pho in months. The staff was very kind and I ordered up the largest bowl of Pho Tai that they had ($14.99) It came out in less than 5 minutes and after squeezing my limes, adding some spice, I was ready to eat. One of my favorites. If you are looking for authentic Vietnamese PHO soup. This is the place to get it. You can order 3 different sizes. The vibe or atmosphere is generic. There is no Asian flare but the food tremendously makes up for it. The PHO soup is a staple during the cold months but it is good anytime. It is hardy and feeling without making you feel as though you've over ate. Usually there are 1 to 2 servers. However they are quick. I always use a straw with my glasses based on how my glass arrived to the table it was a necessity today. The dishes may need to be rewashed. I would give this place 4/5 because I think they are one of the best PHO restaurant in town. And I like they offer 3 different sizes of PHO, comparing to some other restaurant, which only serve one size, and always the biggest bowl. And if you're not into soup (PHO), they do have some other delicious authentic Vietnamese food like the noodles or fried rice, or some spring rolls (fried or fresh-- they're quick and tastefulness. This is the last time I Will ever eat here again. I ordered the Grilled pork chop with rice and egg, within 5 minutes after I put my order in, they brought it out. It looked nothing how i pictured it to be. The pork was cut into pieces that looked like dried up beef. It had a really dark brown color, like it was old. It tasted like it was nuked in the microwave (given how quick they brought the dish out) The pork tasted chewy and tough. I almost never complain about food but this was disgusting. When I asked the manager if I could switch out my food with a different dish (the beef curry, which was not curry--a stew.) He looked upset and annoyed. He yelled something in Vietnamese to the kitchen. A few minutes later the server (I'm assuming the manager's wife) brought out the "curry" and was not very friendly during the remaining of our time there. She was very passive aggressive and didn't ask if I wanted another refill. She only acknowledged my husband.The egg rolls that we ordered was so overcooked and kinda burnt. My friend and I tried this location (my first time) New Year's Day. Probably not somewhere I'd come back to, but when you're looking for a cure after a night out, why not Pho?! Well the name of this place is right....I definitely love pho! The pho here was delicious. It was flavorful and so filling. I got the medium and still had plenty left over to take home! It was definitely worth the price we paid for the food. The picture I posted really doesn't do it justice....I was too excited about the delicious food in front of me that I forgot to take a picture until after I was already eating! Oops! But the real star of the show? Their zesty wings. They were so good and I am so sad that I didn't get a picture of them! I would recommend for anyone to try those wings when you come here. Everything we ate here was aaaaaaaaamazing. !! I am a big pho girl and this place really did it for me. As for yesterday being a gloomy day, I felt inclined to have some yummy and tasty pho broth that could cure me from probably any type of feeling or illness. The inside was a bit dull and semi run down, but whoever was cooking in that kitchen absolutely killed it and the savory taste of that pho broth sent me into outer space. Both the Vietnamese spring rolls with the rice paper and the fried spring rolls were fantastic. The flavor and freshness of both were through the roof. Seasoning, taste and everything about the contents of the food made me And my belly happy! Something about the cold spring rolls with the peanut sauce is super cleansing to my pallet. The chicken with mixed vegetables were served hot and fresh with a house made brown sauce. All good pieces of chicken and the chicken was also rather tender, which was nice. And last but not least....the pho. I got the rare steak and meatball pho, and my fiancé got the rare steak pho. We asked for extra chili sauce on the side because we love to add a bit of heat to that broth. The house made chili sauce is always a home run. It turns out that our waitress gave us the wrong order and we were able to take that one home and we're given our correct order to eat hot and fresh there. Who would have thought that because we were so hungry we didn't even notice we got the wrong order. Everything was so damn good!! The Pho broth is delicious and the aroma lets you know it's being done correctly. The tendon and tripe are for those of us that like it authentic if you don't you shouldn't have it. The spring rolls were average and they only had one server; although she did a great job. If they had real Sriracha I'd might have been tempted to give them 5 stars.
