This is a cute Japanese restaurant that also serves boba. The service is quite fast which I appreciated and the server was attentive and kind. I ordered oolong milk tea with crystal boba and it was flavorful! Now I do wish the food was a bit more flavorful. For instance, the edamame only had salt and chili powder on the top. I feel the flavor could've been more elevated if it was on some kind of sauce. The ika gesso and chicken karage batter could have also been more flavorful as well. I've previously come here and ordered the ramen and mochi donuts. The ramen was alright, nothing amazing but it does the trick if you are craving. I loved the mochi donuts! Overall, I'd come back for the boba and the donuts.

Always a satisfying meal here. Whether you need soup and noodles or rice and meat this place hits the spot. It's always semi busy and the service is fairly quick. Wish my appetizer came before the meal but it's not a huge deal to come with the meal. Love that it's not super loud but lively.

Absolutely loved this spot! My favorite place to go for some good ramen. The ramen was rich, flavorful, and comforting, the pork belly was perfectly tender and the broth had that deep umami taste you only get from hours of simmering. The shredded chicken ramen was also delicious and light, great balance of flavor. They currently have a combo special with Ramen and a Boba tea, the drinks paired perfectly. The vibe inside was cozy with a cool neon glow, and pretty ceiling cover with sakura flowers Definitely a new favorite for ramen nights! No wait time, service was quickly available.

I wish I had a bowl of ramen from ISO ISO as I'm typing this. The noodles had a great bounce and chew to them. I liked that you can add additional toppings. Get the spicy one it's sooo good. We got mochi donuts and fruit tea which was the perfect ending to our meal. It wasn't busy so we got top notch service. The inside is very cute as well.

I'm always amazed at how fast the food comes out. Even when it's a packed house. The food has been piping hot and presentation photo worthy. The various ramens I've tried have great rich and flavorful broths. Portion size is great -- I leave happy and full. Slowly working my way through the menu getting an appetizer and a bowl of ramen when I go. A mochi donut too when I have a sweet tooth. They are so fresh and have that light chewy mochi texture you want.

Woah, this ramen place rocks. In a little cove in the Palladium shopping center this is a must try if you like ramen. Arrived with the wife and inlaws for dinnerl. We all started with some edamame, dumplings, and buns. The edamame was very good, but obviously not nearly as exciting as the other apps. The Dumplings were crispy and delicious, and the sauce was perfect with it. The buns were also amazing, while I always beer towards the pork buns, I was very impressed with the fried chicken one, super crispy, but juicy chicken and the buns were perfectly soft. For Ramen I got the Tonkasu. The brother has excellent deep flavor, and the pork was perfectly paired. My wife got the iso iso with pork instead of the spicey beef, I tried it it was also very good but the broth was a bit too spicey for me. Great place to check out if you love Ramen.

Step aside, Tampopo, there's a new ramen place in town! I'm so happy that Yelp guided me to this new spot when I was craving noodles one night. My first impression of Iso Iso was via take out order. It was close to closing time, and we didn't want to hold them up so we ordered some ramen to go. We shared an order of Karaage Chicken, and I ordered Tonkotsu Ramen as my entree. We were really impressed with the innovative nested packaging which prevents the noodles from getting soggy. Even without it being as hot as a dine-in experience, we were still very impressed with how delicious everything was. This sealed the deal for us to visit for a sit down dinner. When we enjoyed our in-person experience, we went all in. To start we ordered the Chashu Buns because pork belly is one of my weaknesses. The buns were so soft and pillowy, and the lettuce and cucumber added nice freshness. I also ordered a Mango Milk Tea with popping boba. At first I wasn't sure about the popping boba because I hadn't had it before, but our server convinced me to try it. It definitely added some interesting mouthfeel! This time I ordered the Iso Iso Ramen because it had been highly recommended to me. Spiced ground beef and corn are not ingredients that I have ever experienced in a bowl of ramen before. In a spicy, cream chicken broth it all comes together so beautifully on the palate. They even have a huge list of options to add-on, so you can create a customized bowl of ramen to your taste. I was excited to add mushrooms to mine! I definitely foresee us becoming regulars at Iso Iso, and we're extremely interested in the revolving sushi bar place that's opening soon next door! Don't sleep on High Point, they are on the up and up!

This place was amazing! I loved the decor! Made the place feel cozy and inviting! Definitely a great date night choice! The server we had was very attentive and patient. The ramen was perfect! The broth was delicious and pact with flavor with the meat being so tender. The boba was more on the ok side for me but definitely not bad. Now the Mochidonuts were delicious! I would come back just for them alone! Definitely will be back!

Went in for the first time in a year. I had not been in for a while, since the menu has been limited and nothing inhad tried was notable. Today I had their curry ramen special, and I did jot leave anything in the bowl! Please add this to your menu! You need a couple of mor options, and this is a winner!

ISO ISO ramen was soooo good! I decided to stop in while visiting my mom because she never really steps outside of her comfort zone when it comes to food. I was surprised she ate but she did & she loved it. The restaurant is really nice & the service we received was top notch. Thanks to our server my mom discovered that she likes boba (lol). The next time I'm home I will definitely be going back.

High Point's newest ramen spot is potentially also its best. At the very least, Iso Iso is the best equipped for dine-in. Décor is more than just functional here: the dark brick and woodwork is sleek and modern. Moreover, Iso Iso seemed to be well-staffed with folks who seemed to enjoy working there. A restaurant's opening weeks can be stressful, and the absence of hangdog expressions or abject panic bodes well. Iso Iso's menu features Japanese apps, rice bowls, ramen, and boba teas. The latter two can be customized with add-ons and toppings. Whether you are a vegetarian or craving salty meat, like spicy or prefer mild, you should be able to find something here. For our first visit, my wife and I split an order of Chashu Buns and a Tonkatsu Ramen (to which we added black garlic oil). Our food came out quickly, and the ramen was a plentiful portion. At $17, it was not the cheapest in town, but the execution made it worthwhile. The broth was rich, and flavorful, and the black garlic oil added another dimension that we didn't realize we were missing. Toppings included pork belly, a marinated egg, mushrooms, bamboo, corn, and scallion, and they didn't skimp on any of them. The Chashu Buns - good balance of refreshing and salty, excellent sauce - were a winning choice as well. Boba/ramen/poke shops are no longer the novelty that they once were, but even in an increasingly competitive market, Iso Iso has the combination of fast and friendly service and well-executed food needed to make a name for itself. Here's hoping it doesn't tail off.

The stars were for location and ease of getting a table. The peach tea with boba was good. It wasn't very sugary. The restaurant is small but very modern and trendy. They paid a great deal of attention to the decor and dishes. I wish the same amount of attention was given to the food. I ordered the chicken rice bowl. It is actually served on a plate. It was not good to me. The rice was gummy. The chicken was just a boiled chicken breast shredded (No seasoning and a bit dry) and stacked on top of the white rice. There was about half a cup of corn, edamame, egg and crunchy onions on the side. There was one non shredded bok choy on the side. The dish was then drenched in a seasoned mayo type sauce. I was not impressed at all. I had to add flavor by drenching it with the soy sauce and spicy sauce that was on the table. The gyoza seemed like it was originally frozen...almost store bought. What annoyed me the most in this visit is my friend got her ramen. My dish and her daughter's dish came like 10-15 mins later. She had to start eating because she had a warm dish. My food came and it was room temperature. My friend didn't like her ramen and her daughter didn't like her buns. This was underwhelming. I may return for a casual visit for bubble tea or desert, but not for a meal. We had enough variety to make the decision. At the end of the service checking out was a task. We asked for take out boxes. Only one was brought. We tried to check out. She handed the handheld device and walked away. We didn't know how to use it for the second check. We had to call her back.

Welp, definitely excited about this new spot for ramen, apps, and boba! We stopped in just two short days after opening, and left very impressed by the flavors, the service, the aesthetic of the restaurant, and the speed at which everything came to us. This is going to be a spot we visit again and again! We wanted to try a little of everything, so we got a peach bubble tea with mango popping jellies to share. Next time, we would go with 50% sweetness, but honestly, that sweet paired very well with the hearty ramen flavors, so it was all good. It was very tasty on it's own! We got a pair of Chashu steamed buns as an app, these have a nice thick slice of crispy pork belly inside them. The buns were fluffy, and the accompanying sauce made for an excellent balance. Tastes all on point. That said, i felt it was a little expensive for two buns, three would have been just right. But oh... the RAMEN! We each chose a bowl, my wife went for the number 1, Iso Iso Ramen. I went for the 4, Isobel's Shoyu ramen. We swapped bowls halfway through and also sprung for an extra marinated egg. While both were undeniably delicious, I found myself taken aback by the Iso Iso Ramen. For one, I had never had a ramen with seasoned ground beef in it before, i usually gravitate toward the pork. Now though, I am a believer! Not only was this easier to spoon up, but the spicy flavor of the broth was something I never wanted to end. It almost had a bit of a buffalo sauce flavor, but it just lingered with a wonderful heat. MAN. I want another bowl. This isn't to say the Shoyu ramen wasn't also delicious, the braised beef was super tender, like a nice pot roast. Your first thought is why beef comes in a chicken based broth, but it works, I assure you. There was not a drop left in either bowl, and we both commented on the fact they don't skimp on the amount of noodles. They came around with a sample of their oreo mochi donut for dessert, and this was delightful. I'd come back just for a donut and a snack. But i don't see how I wouldn't also order ramen. Wow! Can't wait to come back.

I'll tell you wait, this place is a hidden gem though. The place itself is an old Pizza Hut located between High Point and Jamestown. It's a small building with a drive through and quite a bit of parking for a small establishment. Nothing incredibly fancy but they had some nice touches such as homemade wicker decorations and traditional sauces on the tables. The lighting was not overly bright but was a nice ambiance setter. Our waitress was phenomenal. Very polite and explained everything to us. She reviewed the items we ordered and made sure we understood what everything was. She even explained to us how traditional Vietnamese people ate some of the dishes which added to the experience. We ordered 3 appetizers to split and get a taste of different things and it was nice as she brought out each one separately so we could enjoy what was just served. As for the food, we had the following: Rice Paper Rolls - all the ingredients were fresh and the vegetables were crisp. The peanut dipping sauce was to die for and could have been eaten by itself. Pulled Pork Sliders - a more modern take on pork buns. These were one of our favorite dishes . The cilantro was a little heavy but a minor complaint. Chicken Satay - absolutely delicious and cooked to perfection. The peanut sauce was glazed on and not too heavy. For our main course my wife had the House Pho and I had Beef Shortrib Banh Hoi. My wife really enjoyed her Pho although the tendon and tripe were chewy and not to her liking. The Banh Hoi was absolutely delicious and a fun way to eat dinner. For those who haven't had it, it's almost a make your own lettuce wrap with meat, a sheet of noodles, cucumber, and carrots. You then dip it in a broth. All of the flavors meld nicely and it was delicious! I had the short rib which were seasoned and cooked perfectly. Highly recommend this little gem for a fun night out or to try something different.

We came in, and the server was having his lunch. He seated us, and we waited for minutes and had to wave him that we were ready to order. We placed an order, that itself was a disaster, since he couldn't really understand special requests, like less noodles and extra broth. So we decided to just order as is with my BF asking for extra meat, which he understood. The food came out in less than 10 minutes. And once served, he was never to be found again and had to walk up to the counter to pay. Now, the pho was good and the meats were tender. But, I've had way better pho in the East Coast. It was a little bland and I had to add hoisin and sriracha to enhance and add some zest to the taste.

I just wasn't expecting this level of authenticity in High Point. My daughter and I stopped in on Saturday, May 23, and spent $61.39 on dinner and drinks. I almost skipped it entirely because raw fish just is not my thing. Smoked salmon, yes. Raw seafood, usually not happening. Then I noticed they had cooked poke bowls and customizable options, so we gave it a shot. The food hall was not busy when we visited, so service moved quickly. After ordering, they handed us a buzzer and our food came out fast. We ended up getting everything to go. I ordered the large Strawberry Blossom tea refresher. It had a really good fruity flavor, although it started out a little sweeter than I like. I added some extra ice and that fixed it immediately. My daughter got the Peach Paradise tea refresher, and hers was excellent from the first sip. Both drinks were large and definitely worth the price. We shared the Firecracker Roll, and they had no problem adjusting the spice level for us. Normally it comes with spicy tuna and spicy sauces, but they toned it down without making a big deal about it. The roll came with ten pieces, topped with fresh tuna instead of the spicy tuna, crunchy bits, scallions, and sauce. Plenty for two people to split, and we still brought a couple pieces home. It was delicious! For my meal, I ordered the Chicken Poke Bowl from the cooked menu section. I am glad I spotted that menu because it completely changed my mind about eating there. Every bite was fresh and flavorful. The vegetables were crisp, the rice was cooked right, and the sauces pulled everything together without making the bowl heavy. I upgraded to the fried chicken for an extra dollar. The breading did not stay on perfectly, but that was a small issue compared to how good the bowl tasted overall. Even the bites without chicken were good enough to stand on their own. The chicken was crispy and well seasoned. My daughter built her own poke bowl, which honestly looked like the fun option. You go down the line choosing your base, proteins, mix-ins, sauces, toppings, and crunchy add-ons. There were a lot of choices, but it still felt simple and easy to follow. Everything looked fresh, colorful, and made to order. The restaurant itself was clean, modern, and organized. The staff stayed friendly, and the whole place had a relaxed vibe. It was a bit pricey, but I think worth it. This place definitely earned a return visit from me, especially considering I almost walked past it because of the raw fish focus. Must order: Firecracker Roll and the Chicken Poke Bowl & Peach Paradise bubble tea Tip: If raw seafood is not your thing, check the cooked menu before you decide. There are plenty of good options.

This time I came back by myself and tried the noodle bar instead, and it's a completely different experience but still worth it. The noodle bar is set up like a small Korean grocery store station. Shelves of instant ramen to choose from, you grab your bowl, add your noodles and seasoning, then use one of the machines to cook it. There are three settings and I used M1, which came out just right. The broth was hot and the noodles had a good texture, not mushy. This is a basic setup. No fresh toppings, no eggs, no extras to dress it up. Some places offer that, but this one keeps it simple. If you go in expecting a full ramen bar you might be disappointed, but if you understand what they're going for, it works. And don't break your noodles. Leave them long so you can slurp them the way you're supposed to. If you watch Korean dramas, you've seen this a hundred times. Slurp the noodles and drink the broth after. I also ordered the Cajun tiger roll, 10 pieces, and that plus the noodles was more than enough food. The roll had tempura shrimp and cucumber inside, topped with spicy crab salad, spicy mayonnaise, and flame-seared salmon. The sushi chef used a handheld torch to sear the salmon right in front of me, and that added a nice finish. Between the noodles and sushi, I was full. This is a good option if you don't want to do the full all-you-can-eat. It's quick, easy, and you still get a good experience without committing to grilling at the table. I'd still recommend this place for groups, but now I'd also tell people not to overlook the bar if you're by yourself or just want something lighter. In a restaurant that welcomes families, this creates an unnecessary risk for burns and injuries.
