Just like the other locations you are encouraged to make an appointment and check in ahead of time for faster processing. The staff here was great, the lady drawing my blood could not get the needle in my vein the first time so they took it out completely to prevent my arm from bruising. I really appreciate that because there have been times where I have gone to donate blood and the person has a big ego and goes 'no i can find your vein no problem' then they continue to move the needle around and keep poking me till I bruise. "oH IdOnT kNoW wHy YoUr VeIn Is HiDiNg" omg please stop lol. Is not my vein is you my dude. Anyways, love the snack cantina. I donate regularly and have been told my veins are ornery. The folks they have working here never seem to have a problem and RARELY do I have any hint of a bruise. Yesterday, made an appointment to donate and despite having this appt, i had to walk out when it was 45 minutes later and they placed several other folks on beds before me that had shown up much later. I usually would just suck it and wait but i had another appointment to make. The main concern here is the total lack of organization and several tines, there were people waiting to donate and the employees were standing around shooting the breeze. Sorry, but when I am donating my time and body fluids for the common good, I expect a little more organization and a certsin air of give a damn by the Red Cross employees. No more donated blood to these folks.

The folks here at the Flower Mound facility are wonderful! The staff here is very friendly, helpful and courteous! The place is pristine... if you schedule your appointment and do the online login... The wait time is very short! But don't let that prevent you from doing walkins! A single pint of your bipod can save up to three lives... Please help others!

The customer service was really horrible and the lady at the front counter shouldn't be working there saying inappropriate slurs to me and was so bad I just left. I would not recommend going to this place because they will hurt you or worse... give you scars or blow out your veins because no one has the proper training.
