A woman that was constantly complaining about how much she hated her job there was the person that prepped me for donation with the needle and it was apparently placed incorrectly because it was incredibly painful and uncomfortable during my entire donation process. My arm bruised very badly and it felt sore for over a week. For some reason I was still able to keep donating a couple more times until my bruising faded, then a few staff members acted like it was a problem because a light brown discoloration appeared on my arm at my injection site. I thought it was my fault for a while because I left a band aid on for too long but come to find out, I ended up getting Hemosiderin Staining as a result. It isn't that bad but now I feel like a laser treatment or just covering it up with another tattoo are some options to erase this minor flaw caused by negligence.
