We stopped in this evening for the first time and were seated immediately. The staff was really welcoming; Joey was our waitress and she was really kind and patient. We both tried a $4 martini, I got the lemon twist and D got the olive version. They were strong lol but can't beat $4. There were so many yummy sounding things on the menu, but I landed on the Fish Tacos with fries, and he got the short rib sandwich and house salad. It was all very tasty and filling. The fish tacos were slightly bland in my opinion, but still good. We appreciated the back room ambiance. It was really intimate, so much cozier than other restaurants. I wound up coming here twice during my stay in Tulsa. The flatbreads are amazing. We had two; the duck sausage and the barbecue chicken. On the barbecue chicken our waitress recommended that we add crumbled bleu cheese, and that really made a difference. Their desserts are good too. We had their bread pudding, which was really quite delicious. They also have a cheesecake that my friends tried. I didn't have a taste of it but they really enjoyed it. It's a pretty upscale place in a location that you wouldn't expect to find something like this, but don't judge a book by its cover. Come inside and enjoy the food and the atmosphere. After hearing from friends about this place, we decided to try their Sunday brunch. The restaurant has a great mid-town Tulsa location with plenty of parking. We arrived around 10:45 and were able to choose any spot that was open, so we sat at a bar-top table just inside the door. The waitress greeted us and we ordered drinks. I appreciate the fact that they have $4 espresso martini's so that's what I had. (What a great deal!) My husband had a Bloody Mary. Then, we ordered our meals. My husband had a breakfast burger on a bagel and it was quite tasty! I had the avocado toast and it was alright. I enjoyed the side of fruit though. We would definitely return and I would order something else next time. I'm thinking maybe I'll order that bagel burger...mmmmmm!! read more

I ordered a glass of Malbec, didn't mention the happy hour drinks or appetizers. I ordered the cheese board. Did not look anything like the previous photos of the cheese boards. The cheeses were all cubed and looked like if they were just thrown on the board. Ordered the Brussel sprouts which were pretty good. They had Prosecco on tap, ordered a glass and the bartender was kind enough to give it to me on the house, since I wanted to taste it. The place was very busy for happy hour. First off.. this was a pleasant surprise! The restaurant is tucked in a corner of a strip mall. It's not very large but they use the space well, they have all types of seating: closed off outside seating with fans, table tops, bar seating in front of the kitchen which is open to see, normal table tops and then an attractive booth seating paired with chair seating. I have yet to sit anywhere but the bar but all are quite nice. Comfortable seating is important, well done B&B. So I just mentioned I always sit at the bar because I like their bar tenders, I like to watch them hustle (because it's always busy) and that's just where I prefer to sit at most times. Try it out, oh and ask for the peanut butter and jelly drink or an expresso martini with a splash of cream! I've been a few times now and I either get crab cakes, spicy shrimp and spinach dip and then have cocktails or it's brunch with the berry creme brûlée French toast This place is bouncy, fun, food is great and service is great. I usually spend about $50 for myself with food and drinks. It'll always be busy so reservations are important for any party of 2. This place is becoming one of my go-to's for brunch and happy hour! Don't let the location fool you, this is an excellent, beautiful restaurant. My wife talked this place up for a while about their happy hour app selection. She noticed that they do GF fried chicken on Sundays, something I'd been saying that I missed since going gluten free. She took me as a surprise last Sunday and I was overjoyed. It really looked nice going in. They were clean and neat, and we got good service. Everything on the menu looked good, but we already knew what we wanted. They did a great job of clearly marking allergens and were VERY careful on cross contamination, even with fried food. Bonus points! The fried chicken was out of this world. I really enjoyed the brussel sprouts and the mashed potatoes too. I didn't realize how much I missed gravy until now!!! We'll be back. You should go. read more

Service, was great is was my surprise date night talk about being a bit worried. However reservations at 7:30p on time and sitting about 5 mins later. Ambience was great and loud, I can understand they come for the bar $4 martinis not really my preference but I tried a dirty one nevertheless if you enjoy martinis this is your spot and the option gin or vodka, olive , lime twist and maybe orange but it's the blue cheese filled olives (extra charge) that will keep you. Jo was an amazing waitresses with a packed house. But the show I came for was the crab cakes with an aïoli sauce to accompany them. The main act was their Brick Chicken you get plenty of chicken grilled to perfection the sauce complimented the chicken nicely, the mashed potatoes were mash potato'ng (who every likes a good mashed potato) here is the place, and just enough vegetables (seasonal of course) with the sauce made the entree come together still had the right amount of crunch. For the price, I wasn't really impressed with the food. Pork chop and potatoes were good but sauce was slightly over sweet. Pimento burger is a bit greasy, with a brioche bun, bacon jam that tasted more like a Worcestershire reduction sweet sauce more than bacon jam. No bacon flavor at all. Service was slow when we walked in - probably between lunch and dinner shift change. (About 3:20pm) Once we were eventually noticed by the hostess, she let us know that she would be with us in a bit. She finished whatever couple of chores she was doing before coming to seat us. She was friendly as were all the staff. I will say they at least have good teamwork: one person took our drink orders and let us know they'd bring us silvers- another came to take our food orders and a third walked by and noticed we didn't have silverware and brought us some. Place seems relatively nice. Bar is nice and there is a quieter atmosphere in the back room. This is probably a place to get drinks and a snack like flatbread or apps instead of an upscale dinner. Crab cakes were delicious. On tap choices were nice. Deducting one star for the burger and one for overall value. read more

I'm a Fried Chicken enthusiast. I grew up on it and I love it. So when people told me that this restaurant served special fried chicken only on Sunday evening we decided to give it a try. If you like fried chicken you'll get me on this... it was battered and deep fried. I couldn't make out the spices that were in it but I know there was corn meal and prob milk made up the bulk of the breading. The chicken was done and juicy, but the batter killed it for me. I'm a skillet fried, egg and rolled in flower guy. And this was not that school of culinary perfection. Now, you bougie people may LOVE it, but I did not. We also got the fried mushrooms that I believe were brined in pickle juice. Interesting... reminded me of salt and vinegar chips. We didn't finish them. It was a consensus, we got pickle fatigue. Not my fave again. Sorry. We will try the restaurant again. It's a cute place and I'm sure we will find something that we like. But I had to comment on the fried chicken. read more

After a long day of driving from Indiana, we hoped to have a decent meal, a few drinks, and Bird and Bottle delivered! We started with a couple of old fashions and shared a shrimp cocktail. The sriracha and curry cocktail sauce is so good that we held onto it for our entrees! The delicious Mediterranean salad with shrimp, steamed mussels with Spanish chorizo, and Asian-style short ribs paired perfectly with a couple of glasses of wine. We'll be back! read more

I said in my check in that we had been checking out happy hours and were disappointed, so we were going to Bird and Bottle where we knew we wouldn't be disappointed. Sadly, we were disappointed. They still had their $4 martini, which was good, but they raised their prices on just about everything else. It wasn't as busy as it has been before. In addition to raising the price on their fried veggies, they limited it to fried cauliflower. We didn't want fried cauliflower, so we got artichoke dip. The dip was ok, but we are used to it coming with pita chips or something similar. It came with a small loaf of about 4 pieces of thickly sliced bread. When putting the dip on thick slices of bread, the ratio of bread to dip tends to be heavily slanted toward the bread. Also, the bread didn't last until the dip was gone. We asked for more bread. We asked for more bread to finish our dip with, thinking it would be complimentary. Not only was there a long wait allowing the dip to get cold, but they charged an extra $3. Had we known that, we would have just left half the dip. The dip should come with an ample amount of bread or chips to eat it with. It wasn't as much fun as it used to be because there were only a few customers there this time. We are going through difficult times. Our economy is in trouble and people are worried. How do we all get through this together? Restaurants are raising their prices to survive. Customers are looking for ways to continue eating out and keep their heads above the waters of inflation. How do businesses and consumers support each other during these difficult times? This has long been one of our favorite restaurants, but this time, we did not have a good experience. read more
