While I wouldn't say BirdHouse is quite as amazing/special as all the reviews suggest, it is certainly very good and popular for good reason. The menu is a bit limited (just varieties of chicken basically), and I went with the Chicken Sandwich. It was pretty standard with fried chicken, pickles, and sauce and I will say, the chicken was really nicely crispy and very juicy/tender. Also, it was only $10 - very hard to find those kinds of prices around these days. The restaurant has a small parking lot, but a decent amount of seating. There is a nice outdoor seating area, where we were sat. The staff are super friendly and attentive. The service speed is also decent. With these good prices and tasty chicken, it's tough to ask for much more from a place like this. Great choice for a chill/casual meal in Page.
This is a must try spot in Page!! The chicken is so good, and their prices are incredibly reasonable (great value!). Very cute outdoor covered patio, with inside seating as well. Service was fast and friendly (the best kind). Of the items on their menu, you cannot go wrong. I highly recommend the chicken sandwich (I had the honey butter). After ordering, I heard the sandwich with honey butter and extra spicy is a huge hit. Safe to say that's what I'll be trying next time!
Easily the best meal I've had in Arizona. After a long day in the sun exploring the canyon and Horseshoe Bend, my boyfriend and I were extremely hungry, so we were excited to find a chicken spot nearby. Not just any chicken place, but one that had been highly praised by reviewers online, so we had to try it. The chicken was crispy and juicy, the fries were well seasoned, though a little on the harder side, and the mac and cheese was one of the best I've ever had, super creamy and delicious. I really enjoyed this meal. The price was reasonable for the portion size, and this is definitely a place I would recommend to anyone visiting.
Loved eating at this local spot! The staff were super friendly and the outdoor seating had a lot of room for big groups. Ordered the thigh and leg plate which came with a side. The chicken was juicy and tender. The plate even came with an extra piece! I preferred the honey butter over the spicy but both complimented the crispy chicken well. The Mac and cheese and mashed potatoes were hits at the table! Gave the donut holes a chance and they were more cakey than donut in texture but still satisfied our dessert craving. Highly recommend checking them out.
The food at Birdhouse was excellent. The fries were incredible, perfectly crispy and well seasoned. The house-made sauce really stood out and added a lot of flavor to the meal. The chicken was tender and juicy on the inside with a crispy exterior, making the skin especially satisfying. The staff were also very friendly and welcoming, which made the experience even better. Lots of seating, good ambiance. Overall, everything was well executed, flavorful, and enjoyable. Definitely a spot worth checking out.
Heard great things about the "famous" fried chicken and cold beer. After a long day of adventuring on the lake and in the canyons, this did not disappoint. I had the half bird and did part spicy and part honey butter I had the broccoli salad as my side. The chicken was juicy with a great crunch / crisp. I also liked the ranch / honey mustard sauces. They have a select number of beers to choose from. You order from the counter and then they will bring it out to you. Fast casual type of service so you have get up and get what you need. Seating outside is really nice. Definitely recommend as a good meal to refuel.
I really enjoyed the fried chicken sandwich from Birdhouse! But what especially stood out was the honey butter flavor that I got for the chicken. I felt like the sauce was the standout. I also like the portion as well! I had it with the fries as well, but didn't feel like the fries stood out.
Stumbled upon Birdhouse while passing through town, and I'm so glad we did. The chicken at this rustic, walk-up-and-order spot was fantastic. We tried both the original and spicy chicken tenders, and both were excellent. Also, don't skip the crispy seasoned french fries -- a must. Can't wait to stop by again.
Very moist fried chicken, and you can see that most clearly in the chicken breast piece. Chicken stays crispy for quite a long time. Though I still think New Orleans fried chicken is better. They have 3 flavors: chili, original, and honey butter, but original and honey butter taste the same imo. Their house sauce is good, has a hint of honey mustard. Fries is okay but mac n cheese is not good. Their individual piece portion actually has 2 pieces, at least for thigh and tender.
This place wasn't bad. Was open late. The chicken was nice and crunchy! I got 2 of their house made ranch, and they were good!! The fries were a bit sad, the chicken comes out crunchy but the fries were not crunchy at all. The donut holes were awesome! The warm jelly is the best dip IMO. I'd definitely come back next time I'm in town!
Like many folks, I was in Page, Arizona to visit Lower Antelope Canyon and the tour group I joined had selected BirdHouse as our lunch stop. I did look them up before getting here and am a fan of chicken sandos. Since I was there in December, our tour guide phoned in our orders ahead of time so he can grab the food for us to eat in the van as he continued to drive in order to maximize daylight as we still needed to hit Horseshoe Bend after Antelope Canyon. But, still got the try both the honey butter and spicy chicken sandos. Wish we had fries too but the sandos are a good size and I'd say that the honey butter was better tasting than the spicy sando.
If you find yourself in Page and craving some seriously good fried chicken, Birdhouse is the spot. The chicken here is awesome-- juicy, crispy, and packed with flavor. You can tell they take pride in their seasoning; the rub had just the right blend of spice and depth without overpowering the meat. And that crisp! The skin had that ideal crunch that stayed light. I also really enjoyed the broccoli salad -- fresh, lightly dressed, and a great balance to the richness of the chicken. On top of that, the food came out quick, hot, and fresh, even during a busy period. Overall, Birdhouse hits all the marks: quick service, incredible flavor, and some of the crispiest fried chicken you'll find in northern Arizona. Easily a must-stop when passing through Page.
The BirdHouse is a good restaurant to grab delicious fried chicken. My son and I went here for lunch. It was a busy place. The ordering was at the counter and food was brought to the table. Their menu had a nice variety and the pricing was reasonable. I ordered a two-piece spicy fried chicken meal with broccoli & bacon salad and a soft drink and my son ordered a wings meal with honey sauce wings and fries. The food came out shortly. The chicken was hot and fresh. Same thing with the fries. They were cooked properly too. My spicy chicken was juicy and crispy. Their fried chicken was flavorful and cooked properly so the texture was good as well. The spicy taste was just right. They serve We sat on the patio. The weather was nice. We received good service. It's a family run business. The father-daughter duo were frequently attending to the patrons to ensure that everyone was enjoying their meal and experience. The wife and I are tourists to AZ, UT and several other states and national parks while on our 3.5 week, 5k mile trip! This chicken place stands out, even after eating at dozens of restaurants recently! Their chicken is AMAZING! I ordered the spicy #2 and the wife got the honey butter #1. Both were fried to crispy perfection with great flavors! The sides consisted of Mac n cheese and crinkle fries! Staff was super nice, checking on us and clearing out table, despite this being more of a fast food place! I wish I could give more than five stars !!! read more

Our kayaking guide, Jaden, highly recommended BirdHouse as a tasty value priced fried chicken place. Service was great, our chicken plate and sandwich were great with the sauces, and our dog was happy on the patio. Ambiance was welcoming. The fries needed to be crispier though. read more
Considering there were very few good options, I would definitely recommend bird house as a must when visiting. Fried chicken was juicy and fries were cooked to perfection. Their house made spicy honey mustard sauce and ranch were such a great sauce for dipping. The broccoli slaw also served great as a palate cleaner and was so refreshing. Only complaint was that the honey butter didn't add much to the chicken. read more

One of very few good restaurants we encountered in Page. The fried chicken is delicious! You can get it mild, very spicy and honey butter. We had the very spicy and it was as good as Nashville Hot Chicken. They give you squeeze bottles of ranch and some other dressing to dip the chicken into. Great eaten cold the next day. read more

This is a must visit in Page Arizona! Honestly the best Korean fried-chicken around. The meat is super tender and the honey flavor is definitely the best. Priced really well. Came in with a family of 9 and two trays were enough with sides. Service is fast casual. You pick your own sauces and silverware because the chicken is the show. Can't recommend enough. read more

I was recommended this place from a tour guide he said it was good food. I came here and restaurant atmosphere was ok nothing special. The chicken was ok different breading when deep fried. The chicken really didn't have and flavor and the sides weren't flavorful neither. The coleslaw tasted different not your traditional coleslaw and by different I mean no flavor . The Macaroni and cheese did not taste cheesy at all and I don't understand the bread crumbs on top because it didn't add any taste to it. Definitely not your traditional fried chicken southern style food. I'm not sure if that's what I was expecting but overall it wasn't a bad place to eat. read more

We got an eight-piece family meal. It came with 2 breasts, 2 wings, 2 drumsticks and 2 thighs, along with two sides - Mac n cheese and fries. We ordered an extra side Broccoli salad. The chicken was over-fried a bit but the flavor was good. There were a lot of fries. I was disappointed with broccoli salad and mac n cheese. They were not so fresh. The donut holes were ok, nothing special. It's mostly self-serve after I placed my order at the counter. The price was a bit expensive. Overall, it's not a place I would go back to. read more

No complaints at all on the service. I thought the team was polite and efficient. This place ONLY serves chicken, hence the name. There are 3 chicken options to choose from original, Spicy, and Butter. The menu represents spicy using three to denote it ain't nothing to mess with, but according to my travel companion, it didn't have much kick to it. We both agreed that heat, like taste, is all relative! Which brings me to my next point.... The chicken was not at all flavorful. It required SALT and pepper, which I used wayyy more than I'd otherwise prefer. I ordered a thigh and discovered the order came with 2 pieces, so for the price, you'll get lots of food! This place has high reviews, but again, my companion and I concluded it had less to do with the quality of the food, and perhaps the experience level of those being served. We were driving in from Vegas and starving! We got there at 837 and were hoping for good service (they close at 9). The young men running the place did not disappoint! We got the spicy strips, Mac and cheese, mashed potatoes and French fries The strips- delish! The dipping sauce was also really good. The mashed potatoes- yummy, reminded me of KFC. The Mac, neh not a fan. They were out of coleslaw, sad day. The place looks like a converted sonic, some seating inside and more outside. As we were eating they came by and gave us a side of the house made pickles... sooo good. I love the carrots. 10/10, would totes come back!! read more
We came here hungry after a day of hiking in the heat. The staff was very helpful and knows most people are tourists. Our food came out pretty quick and tasted so good! I loved the honey butter flavor on the chicken and the ranch and house sauce were very good. Left feeling full. Plenty of outdoor seating and on hot days they have fans with misters! The staff checked in on us multiple times and gave us an extra chicken tender :) read more
The Birdhouse was one of the highlights of our trip to see antelope canyon. The place is unassuming on the outside but such a cozy atmosphere inside. The chicken is so good and portions are big. I loved that I could customize chicken legs only for my little guy. The prickly pear margaritas hit the spot and service was friendly and fast. I recommend going before the rush to snag a good seat. Good fried Chicken place. Very small inside seating area. Food comes out very fast. Fried chicken is very crunchy on the outside and juicy on the inside. We ordered half regular and half spicy. Wish they would marinate the spicy ones , instead just spicy powder on the outside. However their homemade sauces makes them better. fries could be a little bit more crispier, a little bit too salty. read more
A little off the main highway but worth the drive. Parking is tight so don't try to park an RV here. Ordered a Brest and wing with the honey butter coating. Wife ordered the 3 piece tenders. Both were great. The actually gave us an extra Breast and an extra tender for free. I had a hard time finishing just the one and the wife did not eat the 4th tender as it was a lot of food as it was. I did not care for the coleslaw but that is just my personal preference. read more

We just wrapped up a 6 day vacation visiting Lake Powell/Page. We enjoyed this place so much we ate here twice. We ordered the 10 pcs chicken tender family meal. For our sides we got fries and mac cheese. The food came out really fast. The chicken was moist and perfectly cooked. Fries seasoned well. Mac and Cheese was amazing. Despite it being 102 degrees outside. The fans with misters felt amazing. It was actually hotter inside. read more
One of the best chicken tenders I have ever tried! Not because we were hungry weary travelers who would eat anything before going to the hotel and calling it a night. We loved this place because our tenders were juicy, fresh, hot and delicious. Portions are huge! I wish we had one in LA. The servers were nice efficient and attentive. We got in to town a little later than expected, many restaurants already closed, so this seems like a great option before star gazing! Wow, they know their chicken! Perfectly crispy and tasty. We read that fries were seasoned, they are not - that's the only 'complaint' I have. We ordered all the sides, pickled veggies is the overall favorite. Super quick service too! We also appreciated cold water coolers. read more
We visited Birdhouse right when they opened at 11 a.m. and had a fantastic experience. We ordered the spicy chicken sandwich, homemade pickles, and French fries. You place your order at the counter, and they bring the food out to your table. Since the weather was nice, we chose to sit outside. The food was absolutely delicious, and the service was great! They even bused our table while we were still seated, which was a nice touch. We enjoyed our meal so much that we considered coming back again during our trip but, unfortunately, ran out of time. By the time we left (after eating our meal), the place was packed; definitely a good sign! Highly recommend. read more
What a fun experience! Parking was a bit tricky because it was so busy, but we were able to find street parking down the block. This place was hopping with energy, inside and out. The line was very long but surprisingly steady. The servers were very friendly and efficient and our party of nine were actually able to order and eat within an hour! The chicken is fantastic, original and Wilma's even more phenomenal with the butter honey---YUM! They give a boat load of French fries. This is a fun experience while visiting Page! read more

Wow.. Just wow. Everything about this place is amazing. The chicken, the sauces, everything! I love the fact they give you your own squeeze bottle to take to the table. Too many times have I been to a restaurant where you have to pay extra for sauces and it just turns me off. This place? I wish I lived here so I could come here again and again. The service is amazing, too! We had our food delivered to us outside and the guy came out again to check on everyone and take our trash. I also really appreciate that they let the employees dress how they want and let them have their personal style. It adds to the family/homey feel of this place. A special thank you to the guy in the red bucket hat working 6-2-25. Sorry I didn't catch his name, but he is very friendly! We sat outside and it was just such a vibe. Love this place!
