Best meal we had in Page. This is a very small but quirky chicken shack. Small indoor area with patio style tables and chairs, and a partially enclosed patio area. Wait in line to order at the counter and they bring your food to your table number. The menu is pretty basic and limited to chicken or chicken, with a pretty good variety of sides. I ordered the spicy chicken sandwich and broccoli salad. When asked about how spicy, the woman at the register said 7 out of 10. She was 100%. It was HOT! The first couple of bites were easy, then it built. Since we ate in the restaurant, we got 2 full sized squeeze bottles of the house sauce (honey mustard) and ranch. I was kind disappointed that these were the only sauces, but the honey mustard went PERFECTLY with the spicy chicken. A little drizzle of the sauce on each bite made the spicy chicken the perfect bite. Broccoli salad was a little bland and dry, but I squeezed a little of that honey mustard on it and it was much improved. Someone else at my table ordered the fries and they were fresh, well seasoned, and super yummy. Someone else got the pickles and they were huge chunks of pickled cucumbers and carrots. They were ok but not the favorite side. My husband had the mashed potatoes with gravy and they were fine. I wish someone had tried the mac & cheese. Chicken sandwich would have been good to split. I wasn't able to finish and probably would have been better off with less of it. They have a good beer selection and a serve yourself soda fountain. Single unisex bathroom was at the back and was in high demand while I was there. The rooster outside caught our eye, so we decided on dinner here. We ordered the large 12-piece family meal, half original, half honey butter, that came with 2 sides. We also ordered all of the other side dishes so we could try them all. It was a lot of food for 4 adults, 1 teen, and 1 kid. We couldn't finish it, but put in a really good dent! The fried chicken were extra crispy and both flavors were really flavorful. The skin was a bit on the darker side so I was worried the meat might be dried out, but it wasn't. The breast meat was actually very juicy! This is a great place to visit if you like crispy fried chicken. Of the sides, we liked the crinkle cut fries, homemade pickles, and broccoli salad. The mashed potatoes were ok, coleslaw was a bit too wet, and the mac n cheese was grainy and had a weird taste. Do not order the mac n cheese! He had the spicy on our first visit and loved it but it was pretty spicy (7 out of 10). Chase was a friendly and engaging guy and made the experience there even better. This place is delicious! The fried chicken is literally perfected down to a science. We got the 10 piece tenders family meal and every single piece was uniform in size, the perfect amount of breading and gorgeous perfect golden brown. The chicken was fully cooked and juicy as hell. We also got a chicken salad that was good. For our sides we got French fries. The light seasonal seasoning was so good. We also got Mac and cheese that had goldened panko crumbs on top and it was really yummy. Then we got mashed potatoes and gravy. At first I thought they were just meh. But then I used my chicken tender as a spoon, scooping the potatoes and gravy and it was sooooo good! I had wished I had some corn to go with it. Here is my wish list for making this experience a tiny bit better... 1. The flavors they have for the chicken are original, spicy, or honey butter. I wish they also had a classic bbq sauce that I could get. (But still the chicken flavor is so good and the mustard sauce that they give you a bottle of to take to the table is still very delicious!) 2. For the price of the salad I wish that it would have also included tomatoes and cucumbers. And a mixture of spring lettuce and not just the iceberg style lettuce with the carrot and cabbage slivers that I don't find as flavorful as greens. 3. Real potatoes (preferably red potatoes with skin on) for the mashed potatoes would be so good. It's clear their potatoes are instant. Still yummy but not as yummy as real. 4. I wish one of their sides was corn. It wouldn't have gone perfect with the mashed potatoes and chicken tenders. 5. Their to-go boxes don't quite stay shut very well. I didn't expect to have Korean style fried chicken in Arizona, but it was a delicious and pleasant surprise, as well as a taste of home. I'm from the biggest Asian enclave in the US, the San Gabriel Valley, so Korean fried chicken is familiar to me. It's such an interesting fusion dish because the texture of the fried chicken is pretty unique compared to standard fried chicken, and the honey butter sauce is phenomenal. Crunchy outside, moist tender inside. Perfection. The fries are great too, crispy outside, soft inside with yummy seasoning. The coleslaw and macaroni and cheese were solid sides. I think I preferred the macaroni, but it's a matter of preference. I'm a cheese lover. The owner is so nice and was constantly busy around the restaurant. Can tell he puts his heart and soul into the place. Coming from a restaurant family myself, I'm always happy to support another small business and can see the pride and effort he puts into the restaurant. Our cashier Ashley was friendly and kind as well. Also, super hardworking! She was our cashier here and later that day, took our order at another bbq place in town! We stopped at Bird House after our tour at Antelope Canyon right across from our tour spot as it was a "must try" recommend by a few. I'm plant based so I personally didn't have anything to eat but my husband had the original chicken sandwich.
