Looking at their set up and their Instagram almost makes it feel like a concert venue that also happens to make beer. Speaking of: there are 14 beers on tap plus one hard seltzer. Most places will go all in on IPAs and pale ales, while this place seems to be the opposite. They only offer two IPAs (a hazy and a double) while the rest of the taplist is made up of pilsners (Italian, west coast, New Zealand, etc.) and lagers (a smoked lager, a Japanese rice lager, etc.). A red ale, a fruited sour ale and a gose with lime round out the list. It's quite an impressive taplist, and everything we tried was good. We live pretty far away and were just visiting Asbury Park for the day, but we would definitely come back if we're ever in the area again.

That being said, it's probably best that I don't have that option. :) It's such a fun place with really unique and delicious beers and seltzers. I love the artwork and decor and love that they promote and feature local artists/musicians. They are also really dog friendly, and our boy Tito felt so welcomed and loved. We saw that they had Prosecco on the menu on the website, but it turns out that was at their other location. We then opted for the seltzer which we brought outside with us. I guess there were some kind of kids event today cause the place was packed with kids and there were no seats anywhere. Waited online to go to the bathroom and once inside it was a mess, toilet paper, and towels everywhere. Unfortunately we hated our seltzers and since there was nowhere to sit, we just put them down and ended up leaving. Not the type of spot for us we have learned.

My girlfriend and I are on a mission to visit every brewery in the great state of NJ, so we decided to make this our 100th. We came here on a Saturday night in July around 6:30, and the place was pretty dead, though to be fair that could have been the heavy rain and flooding in the area. The taplist when we were there was mostly IPAs plus a few lagers and one 9.2% milk porter. The bartender was very friendly, pointing out a few beers only available at the brewery and letting us try a few small samples before we bought anything. We each had a few small pours before heading out, and enjoyed all that we tried. They have a nice merch section where I also got a beautiful and unique beer glass. We live pretty far away but this place was definitely worth the drive, and glad we made it our 100th.
