The review is for the bar and courtyard only. Beautiful event for their Christmas tree lighting. The outdoor patio has a large bar with seating. There are several tables that were all reserved on this evening. There are some couches and Adirondack chairs. There is a wood burning fireplace outside with chairs around it. There are several outdoor heaters that keep guests warm outside. The decorations and lights are gorgeous complete with Carolers and Santa Claus. The drinks are delicious, prices are about $18 a clip. The hot apple cider with Rum is tremendous as is their reduction of Coquito. The inside is just as beautiful. I am not crazy about the menu so for me it is a drinks spot. read more

This was my first time at Brothers Daley and I cannot wait to go back! The Christmas pop-up was done perfectly! Every inch of the restaurant and patio area was decorated. It was absolutely gorgeous. The heaters on the patio are the perfect touch too. I ordered the Cherry Lou Who, which is a holiday cocktail on the menu. It was tart, yet delicious. The cherry air was a nice and different touch too. Although the bar was extremely busy, the bartenders are nonstop and get the drinks out quickly. I am excited to go back! read more

The first time I went had a great time. Enjoyed the DJ and vibe, until our credit card company alerted us that the bartender tipped herself 156% on a $20.00 tab. When we went back the smirking jerk manager was rude condescending and just an assh$&@. When we asked for table while we waited for him to do his job was told there was nothing available yet a party of four that was behind us with no reservation like us got one with no problem. Wow! Completely unplanned but so glad we came here! Definitely make a reservation - we didn't but were blessed to get seats at the bar where we could order food. The first thing we noticed as we waited for menus was how professional the bartenders were and how quick to clean the bar top they were! There was a look of science on their faces as they measured and mixed fancy drinks. As soon as a customer left, they quickly cleaned the bar top too! Also super random but loved that they had bag hooks at the bottom of the bar so I could hang my bag as I ate. The food was scrumptious, unique, and packed with flavor. We ordered for appetizers: pulpo (octopus prepared weekly differently - this time was with buffalo sauce - so unique and tasted so good) and a singular caviar chip - we could have done without to be honest. For mains we ordered: the bratwurst special sandwich - loved the flavor of the meat and mustard kick plus the chips with sour cream dip tasted the best, and a juicy pub burger that was phenomenal but the fries that came with it were a lil on the overcooked side. We also ordered a side of succotash which was simple yet so yummy and a cocktail that was as expected. We'll be back! read more

I found this place on Instagram and had the pleasure of visiting this new restaurant over the weekend. I made a reservation after spending the afternoon at the beach and wanted to have lunch outside. The outdoor courtyard is so cute! Such a nice atmosphere and lots of greenery. The table had fresh flowers which was a nice touch. We had the Station 43, Peach Badger and Espresso martini for drinks. The Peach Badger was tasty; it was like a spin on an Old Fashioned. For lunch, we split the croquettes and the BD Burger. Both were excellent especially the burger! It was so juicy. Our server, Gabe, was so attentive and was pretty funny. On our way out, there was a little bar set up where the servers were giving out oyster champagne shooters. So fun! She told us she's there every Saturday. Overall, a really great experience here and I would go back again. I only gave 4 stars because I feel like the food is pricey for being at the Jersey Shore. $26 for a burger is the same price range as NYC, I just wasn't expecting that. Drink prices were typical. visited last week for my birthday and was welcomed by some of the friendliest hosts. The restaurant wasn't decorated for Christmas yet, but the vibe and ambiance were perfect--very classy and fun. Our servers were great, but I have to admit the food and drinks were just okay. I ordered a non-alcoholic frozen apple cider with vanilla cold foam, but the foam was nowhere to be found. The cider itself was good for what it was. The crab deviled eggs sounded amazing in theory but were disappointing, and the $25 price tag definitely added some regret. We also had oysters and the French onion soup, both of which hit the mark, along with a really tasty French onion rigatoni. The BD burger, however, was pretty average. I was excited for a birthday dessert, but was extremely let down to learn they only had two options left because they had run out of everything else... on a Friday at 7 PM. It seemed like they hadn't prepared for the weekend crowd at all. It was a disappointing way to end the meal and made my birthday memorable for the wrong reasons. Overall, we had a nice evening and I would return with adjusted food expectations. read more

Came for my mom's birthday in August. Restaurant is beautiful, staff is so kind and really makes sure to accommodate all dietary restrictions and food requests. The food was honestly so delicious, everyone was very happy with their meal! Even my aunt who is allergic to virtually everything. She requested that her pasta be made without onion and garlic, and they accommodated her with no issue. I would definitely come back here and maybe try something new! read more

Drinks are good but staff needs more training or more bartenders need to be scheduled. Went in with my wife and a friend took 30 minutes to get our first drinks, then another 20 for our second and it wasn't even busy. Other places in Tower do the upscale cocktail experience with better service. Probably won't go back for a few months until after they figure out the new opening hiccups. read more

The atmosphere around Christmas - beautiful! Lots of Christmas lights and the bar is really pretty. We were seated SQUISHED against a wall and right outside the men's room. (We did have reservations which were not easy to get). There were no tables for 2. I guess any couple who dined there would have to sit outside the men's toilet! We got to see everyone going in and coming out! There were other tables available, some right by a fire! But they were saving those. When we left the tables were still empty. We had asked to move but were told those were being held. (Until when?) The food was not great. My husband ordered Arctic Char. It was very oily and fishy tasting but covered in a lot of thick white sauce. I ordered short rib ravioli and it was not that great. The ravioli tasted like a dough ball. Service was good. I wish I could give zero stars. Saw all the Christmas hype and got a reservation for my boyfriend's birthday. The server was horrific and the manager was extremely rude. They were letting drunk bar patrons sit next to us while we were trying to enjoy dinner. They started stacking chairs right around our table after about 10 mins of us being sat. They rushed us out and only let us have the table for a known celebration for 45 mins. I put in the reservation for a birthday and a candle and the server never even offered for us to look at a dessert menu knowing it was my boyfriend's birthday. I could go on for so long about how the staff specifically made the experience horrible. I've worked in restaurants for 10 years and I've never experienced anything so unprofessional and horrid. I was pretty excited to try this spot after all the hype, but the menu looks pretty basic on paper, so I was worried it may just be more about ambiance and trends than the food. We had the Easy Money cocktail, caramelized onion rigatoni, double cut pork chop and Dubai chocolate pie. All were excellent, especially the pork, which you could cut with a fork. You walk in and you'll be greeted with a warm welcome and I was shocked to see one of the most impressive bars I've seen in a while. You won't have trouble finding a cocktail here! I can't remember the name of the cocktail I had (whitecaps?)) I couldn't stop drinking them! The amazing flavor of pear. Apps: crudo of the week, tuna. Very light and full of flavor. Hubby had the deviled eggs and he enjoyed the touch of roe on top. Entrees: hubby had the spicy pork sandwich, he definitely enjoyed! I had the fish and chips, gotta tell you, this restaurant goes above and beyond with their food, it wasn't just a piece of fried fish on the plate! My girlfriends and I do a ladies brunch 2 times a year, and we always try to pick somewhere new. We may go back to Brothers Daley though! It was so delicious and the menu was innovative and fun. We shared a bunch of appetizers and they were all amazing. The famous chicken nuggets were good but the chili crisp deviled eggs were divine, and the mussels in Thai curry sauce were amazing. For lunch, I got the fish special, which was tilefish. I felt like I should try for something healthy and after I ordered it I was having regrets that I didn't get a burger or pasta. Well, that tilefish was probably the best fish I've had in years. It was perfectly prepared and the sauce with little shreds of potato as a coating was delicious. My friend got the Malfadine and I got to try that and it too, was delicious. The staff and service was fantastic too. The host was happy to be there and made us feel really welcome, the food runner was super cool, and our waiter, Lucas, was hilarious. He made honest recommendations when we were comparing potential orders and we were all thrilled with them. I can't remember what he recommended for dessert but everyone loved it (it had a Biscoff cookie on top). He really leveled up our experience. I have ONE critique, and that is that you can't order a Bloody Mary. I get it, you're hipsters, you have an artisanal drinks curator, why do you want that pedestrian drink you old fart, etc. That started my meal off on a bad foot, and got my back up. Luckily it was followed by delicious food an amazing treatment by Lucas and the rest of the staff, so I calmed down and got over myself. read more

Brothers Daley is an excellent Irish Pub/restaurant in Sea Bright. The atmosphere inside and outside is beautiful. The food and service was top notch. Our server tonight was Desmond and he was great. He explained each dish we asked about, and gave excellent recommendations. We Started with the Irish Soda bread and roasted beet & grain salad. The roasted beet & grain salad was AMAZING! The smoked yogurt on the bottom of the quinoa was delicious! The bread was very good too! For dinner we had the brioche encrusted halibut and grilled branzino. The halibut was FANTASTIC! I loved the brioche crust! The grilled branzino was good, but I expected it to have more flavor. The coconut curry tasted bland, but the gnocchi was delicious. The branzino skin should of been crispy and it wasn't. We had the mashed potatoes as a side dish. It was so creamy and delicious! For dessert we had the apple crumb cake and carrot cake both were very good! The menu is small and wish there were a few more options or some dinner specials. Went there on a Saturday night. The line was not moving for a ridiculous amount of time. It appears management wants to keep a line and film it for their instagram. Who wants to go a bar where there is a line?? Once we got in, the inside bar was totally empty. Outrageous. Beautiful atmosphere. The outdoor patio has a lovely long bar with lots of seating. Outdoor tables are surrounded by plants and trees for some privacy. The completely renovated space is just lovely. Inside as well- new bar and cozy tables with elegant decorating. Very nice drink selection! The menu includes raw bar choices (the oysters were delicious) and Scotch Eggs (cooked perfectly) , plus Irish soda bread! We enjoyed the burger, the halibut and the branzino. Worst experience. The place is pretty but the food is disgusting. First time I was there was for Brunch and 3 of us sent back our meal. I decided to give it another chance. We went for dinner. The chicken app was inedible. The shrimp toast was mush. The only decent thing was the French onion soup. Although it was cold and the cheese had no taste it was semi decent. Our waiter was good but the hostess and manager had such attitudes. Very strange experience. Will not be returning. read more

The place is beautiful and the host who sat us was charming. Our server was also nice and friendly. We started with 2 of their speciality cocktails - $18 each - a bees knees and a salt/vinegar martini. My daughter liked hers (bees knees), but the salt and vinegar martini surprised me that it came in a plastic martini glass and it literally looked like water. Then he left and came back with the cocktail onion on a toothpick and dropped beads of oil into my drink. I was not impressed at all. Food overall is tasty, but I find overpriced. Not ready for prime time. Discombobulated. Visited on a Friday afternoon a little before 4 PM. In August. We were excited to try this place after viewing the menu and reading good reviews. Arrived, and while I was parking, several workers asked my wife "can I help you?" while she was waiting for me outside the front door, as if they were questioning what she was doing there. Next we go inside. We have to hunt for a hostess. The staff is huddled around a table listening to the chef telling them about dinner specials. We notice a couple friends at the bar. Finally, we find the hostess, who tells us they aren't serving food until 5 pm, which is weird because the "lunch" menu they have posted online says "served 12-5 pm", though their web page says (for Friday) Lunch 12-4, Dinner 4-8, and there is no mention of any gap between lunch and dinner hours as some restaurants do. So we sit at the bar to have a drink with our friends. First, a bartender comes over, takes my drink order, and doesn't ask my wife what she wants. I now flag down a second bartender to take her order, and I asked what the deal is with the food. He hands me a lunch menu, the same one they have posted online, which says "served 12-5 pm" right at the top. I said "but you're not serving food right now?" and he seemed confused and told me "I think you're good"... then the first bartender comes back over and tells us we can't order any food from the lunch or dinner menu, despite the fact that the website says "Lunch 12-4, Dinner 4-8" and the lunch menu they handed us had "served 12-5 pm" printed right on it. So are you serving food or aren't you? At least get your stories straight. We declined to order any of the tiny, overpriced "bar snacks" they offered. We finished our drinks and left, and went to another restaurant. You can't seriously tell me someone couldn't at least make us a burger and an order of fish and chips. If you're not open and serving food at 4 pm on a Friday in the middle of August, I'm sorry but you're probably not gonna make it. But at the VERY LEAST, post the correct hours for when you're serving lunch and dinner, and abide by it. Very unprofessional, and they didn't seem to care in the least that we drove a half hour to get there. I'm sure they don't give a rat's behind, but we will not be back. They lost a potential good customer. We go out to eat at least twice a week. read more
