My sister referred us to this dealership. Honestly, if I had read some of the older comments beforehand, we might not have gone--but times have changed, and there are new people there now. Made a deal on a used vehicle with a professional and personable associate via text. Went in to sign papers and another man reneged on the deal. Could've still purchased at the asking price, but don't trust a dealer that breaks a deal. Also noticed the carfax on the other man's desk for the vehicle showed approximately 16000 miles more than their site listed. Also ran an unauthorized hard inquiry on my credit. They will indeed get you into a vehicle, but be mindful of extra fees and costs of add-ons that they don't tell you about. I didn't know the costs of the vehicle we purchased until the paperwork was in front of me to sign. I felt pressure to sign at that point. I take the blame for signing, but wished I had been made aware of the actual cost of the vehicle upfront. My advice is if you're buying used/pre-owned, go to a dealership that gives you 3 days to decide if you want to keep it. This dealership does not. The contract states something to the effect of they can take the vehicle back if they choose to, but they wouldn't even talk to us regarding our unhappiness with the vehicle. It's missing parts and I couldn't even get an answer as to whether or not they could ship the parts. Broken rear vent, the windshield fluid hose wasn't connected properly so fluid wouldn't release, and one of the tires kept losing air. We found out it was plugged and had to buy a new tire. Now the Bluetooth audio doesn't work. We drove 2 hours to do business here. They were great at first, but if for any reason you're unhappy, you get nothing from them. Not even a call back to say whether or not they will help you. At least that was our experience. For what we ended up paying for this the end, we definitely could have gotten a better vehicle. Unquestionably the worst customer service experience I have ever received, and that is saying something. My brand new 2015 outlander's AC went out (no cold air would blow at all) at 24,000 miles. I took it to the store for repair on a Friday (had to take off work) they initially told me they weren't sure warranty would cover it, so I pointed out in the warranty where it would (60,000 bumper to bumper). They spent two hours on the car to tell me that they knew it was leaking but couldn't find a leak. I asked to leave it overnight with them and asked for a loner car while they looked at it the next day. They declined that request and told me to drive it for a few days so that they could find the leak. 4 days later, on Tuesday, the AC went out again (the charge of Freon they gave clearly leaked out again). I called them at noon to schedule a time for that afternoon in which I could drop the car off and expected a loner car while they service it. They said sure, we will have you a loner. 3 hours later they called me and said that they could not provide me a loner car since they weren't sure this type of damage was covered under warranty (note that they admitted on my first visit that it would in fact be covered). Story #2, I took my Mirage there a few months prior for an oil change. The next day while driving to work I hear a CLANK under the car, which apparently was the washer which held the oil pan in place. It was not put back on properly so oil began leaking and the motor even smoked. Not to mention they did not refill my wiper fluid nor adjust the air in my tires on either trip. I would drive to Thailand (yes crossing the pacific via barge) before I took any car of mine back to this place. The incompetence by both the technicians and the service management is unlike any I have ever seen before. Do yourself a favor if you are a Mitsubishi owner in the Birmingham area, and drive to the Huntsville store for service. It will be worth the extra gas and time travelled, as that shop is run and managed properly. read more
