First time trying this place. It's a really clean place, staff is very friendly. Food was really good however a little on the pricy side. I know costs have gone up and in order to make a profit they have raise prices . Most plates are around $22 even the menudo is $20 for the same size bowl as other restaurants. Everyone in our group enjoyed their food, I'd definitely give them another try after I recover from the $193.00 bill. Lol! read more

The family and I tried this place for the first time a few months ago and love it. We've ordered it at least five or six times during the pandemic. The tortillas are handmade and really good, although admittedly don't hold up too well with the wetness of the birria. I want to try them with their other meats though as I'm sure they're amazing. The birria de res is usually my go-to. It comes in a pretty large container and has quite a bit of meat in it. Is it the best birria ever? I don't know, I'm not some birria snob. It's delicious and has had me coming back. I've read reviews that it's expensive? Don't eat out then lol. It's like, eleven bucks for a tub of birria. I don't think that's outrageous pricing. We take Mexican food for granted and expect it to be be underpriced. This place has been good and affordable. read more

It's a drive from Orange County but definitely worth it. Let's start by saying the customer service is on point! Friendly staff that makes you feel at home. The Food is amazing which makes the drive worth it, i try to come once or twice a month (since gas prices are up lol) .. Also the tortillas echas a mano!!! Sooo bomb!!! It's a first come first serve basis and self sitting restaurant. Once you are seated, customer service is a 10 out of 10. Food and drinks came out the kitchen no longer than 15 minutes after ordering. I ordered menudo and it's one of the tastiest menudo I've had anywhere. Amazing authentic Mexican Birreria. This is as close to authentic as Mexican food you can get. I got Birria de chivo (goat) which is served with homemade tortillas. Had a great taste and texture. Also had café de olla which was very delicious. Will come again to try the rest of the menu. read more

As soon as I'm about to take my first bite this lady walks up to me and says I need to tell my daughter to put her food away because they don't allow outside food in their restaurant. This place was pretty good. The birria taste really good, I myself had Res but the rest of my family had Chivo birria and all liked it. The food had great taste to it. We went to celebrate for my dad's bday and he was born in Michoacán.... he really like one of the salsa that was very spicy and he said the food did have the same Mexican taste. The only thing is that someone had posted that they sell beer here and they don't... there is a flyer on the wall outside but it's from the previous restaurant. I wanted to invite my mother to some good birria near covina, so i found this spot not 2 far away. ordered to birria consume with home made tortillas. and like another reviewer here, it was mostly consume and maybe 5% meat. it was also very salty and not much flavor , even after adding 2 lemons and salsa.the best part even though kinda of thick were the home made tortillas. also the owner or main guy there was very rude ,would come to our table laugh at my mom because the hot sauce they provided was too spicy. when we went to pay they charged us 35$ and commented that they overheard all we said instead of apologizing ..guess they cant handle criticism obviously. avoid this place read more
