I ordered ahead of time while I shopped at Trader Joe's down the street and by the time I was done, my order was ready for pick up. The waitress was extremely friendly and had everything set up and ready to go. The place itself is a small divey bar/cantina, a super hole in the wall place with parking in the back and street parking in the front. It is easy to access though if you enter from the back you have to go down a sort of creepy open air hallway of different businesses to get to them. The price was very reasonable for Mariscos and my husband the Aguachile connoisseur actually liked them. I tasted them and the shrimp felt fresh not tough or chewy. So 5 stars for La Sexy Miche!

The shrimp cocktail and ceviche was super fresh and came with a generous portion size. Probably one of the best ceviches I've ever had. Garlic Shrimp: My dad wasn't too crazy about it. I think he was hoping the shrimps would be bigger. Unsure if he will be ordering in the future. Overall, great place for ceviche and happy hour beers. My only note is that the service was really lacking and inattentive. One of the waitresses was on their phones and standing around throughout her shift. She looked bothered when we flagged her down to ask for and collect the check. Other than the mediocre service, it was a decent experience. Overall, I would ask for take out next time I return.

Updated review: I've been here 4 times and have ordered through grub hub At least twice. This place…read morehas good food but their employees lack customer service and have slow service. One time I ordered 4 tacos, 1 burrito, a drink and churros and it took them longer than 25 minutes to be ready. The people who dined in that were behind me in line were served first. This defeats the purpose of takeout... also they burnt the heck out of my churros and still have them to me like that. Their employees are rude especially the girl with the fake red hair. She' s vulgar talking to coworkers instead of customers and a rude attitude. She was rude with an attitude when asked her about drink prices (not on the menu) and a question about the salsa bar . She made me feel like I was a bothering her after spending over $50 in their establishment. The way she behaves makes you think she owns the business. Another thing is that they don't listen or pay attention to your order. Both in person and for delivery they end up messing up your order. It was simple no onions on 3 tacos and they always mess up my son's food. Now I have an angry and hungry little kid on top of the experience. I keep going back because their food is good and kind of hope to have a better experience. I don't I'll go back, it's a shame but it's not worth it anymore. Gave this place many chances to support a small business but they don't reciprocate the love back. This place could be a 5 star but their employees hinder the restaurant back from being that.

The vampiros are a delicious appetizer to share. The peanut butter French toast is so good!!! It's super heavy though but definitely one of the better sweet options on the menu. It wasn't too busy for a Sunday mid afternoon. One thing I noticed is that we were able to join the waitlist virtually which was nice! We haven't been able to that before when we've come many times so that was cool. Cant wait to come back!

Unfortunately, the wait time for the food was much longer than expected considering how slow it seemed. Some items came out hot, but my taco plate was only warm. The food itself wasn't horrible, but overall it was a bit bland. The sauces definitely helped, but sauces should enhance the flavor, not be the main source of it. I also don't want to single anyone out, so I'll just say the overall staff energy wasn't very welcoming. I actually stopped by about a week ago just to pick up desserts and experienced a similar vibe then too. I'm honestly bummed to leave a negative review because I wanted to like this place, but between the wait, lack of flavor, and unwelcoming atmosphere, I'll probably not return.

Everything looked so clean, well-organized, and inviting. The restaurant itself is lovely, with plenty of seating for a party of one or many. There is ample space for special occasions, a large bar area, a large dining room, clean bathrooms, and AMAZING staff. Every single employee welcomed us to the restaurant. Employees were very friendly, polite, hard-working, and engaging. The food was absolutely delicious! I had the "Martha Salad" while my wife had the Pozole Verde. Both were delicious, perfectly made, very tasty, and filling. The chips and salsa were so good that we ordered a second serving, which is rare for us. We plan to invite family and friends in the very near future so that we can reserve the private group area and have our own party :)

We recently tried this Mexican restaurant and unfortunately the food and drinks were very…read moredisappointing. The margaritas were honestly some of the worst we've had -- they tasted like straight margarita mix blended with ice, and we could barely drink them. The enchiladas were also very underwhelming, especially for the price. It was basically shredded chicken in tortillas with sauce, rice, and beans, and for $20 it just wasn't worth it. The food tasted very Americanized and lacked authentic Mexican flavor and seasoning. That being said, the customer service was amazing. The two ladies who helped us were incredibly attentive, kind, and kept checking on us. They offered extra drinks and multiple items, which we normally appreciate because when we go to Mexican restaurants we usually order multiple rounds and end with Cadillac margaritas. Unfortunately, the drinks were so bad we didn't want to order anything else, but their effort and service did not go unnoticed. One small disappointment was when I asked for hot sauce to add more flavor to my green sauce enchiladas, and I was brought the same red enchilada sauce instead, which made the meal worse. I am a food and beverage manager myself, and I can honestly say I would hire those two servers in a heartbeat because they were fabulous. The service was excellent -- it's just the food and drinks that really need improvement.

From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was vibrant and welcoming. We did run into a minor snag--the kitchen printer actually ran out of paper right as our order went through, which led to a bit of a delay. However, this is where the service truly shined. Rather than leaving us wondering, the staff was incredibly transparent and apologetic. They went above and beyond to make it right, surprising us with a round of drinks and a big bowl of fresh guacamole on the house while we waited. It's rare to find a place that handles a mistake with such grace and generosity. The tacos themselves were high-quality, flavorful, and very reasonably priced. It feels great to support a small business that clearly values its customers. If you're looking for great food and a team that genuinely cares about your experience, look no further!

Their hand made tortillas are delicious and come out piping hot. When I saw the plate, I assumed that it would be a 5 star meal. Everything looked so perfect.
